Since it's sunny outside in Glasgow, and I'm stuck inside my mind slipped to the future (procrastination I know).

What's everyone doing for the summer? Anyone planning on travelling/exciting holidays? My life depends solely of getting an architectural job, if not, try and find some other job for a few months and then go travelling. Dunno where like, probably around Eastern Europe because its still fairly cheap and unchartered by the general British yob.

Away to Tenerife on Friday. Got a free upgrade from self catering to all inclusive. One of the perks that I appear to get for working for Thomas Cook

Another perk seems to be lots of time off, coming very soon...

No chance. Biggest tour company in the UK. Plenty folk still booking. Still plenty profit to be had. Even our CEO has came out and said that the share price dropped due to him saying that we took 300m less that this time last year. Not exactly a disaster for a multi billion pound industry

Been warm for the last few days, but an absolute scorcher here now.

Just back from a week in Spain to find its been nice here. Fucking typical. Was in Bilbao and San Sebastian, the Basque country is definitely worth a visit. Managed to get some surfing in Zarautz and San Sebastian, nice powerful Atlantic waves despite the swell not being particularly big. Shame athletico have an allegiance with the tims though. Those vermin really do get everywhere. I did chuckle at a language school round the corner from the ground being called st Georges, with a big athletico and Tim crest on it :D
