No one has got the balls to hold onto a manager and see the season out. The bottom five in England have all sacked a manager this season and none of them can really say it has made much of a difference.

Could argue it worked for the Saudi blood money laundering machine that is Newcastle and to a lesser extent Burnley who have had a decent run of results since sacking Dyche.

Yes, but was it as good as 1965 when Killie had to go to Tinkcastle and win by 2-0 because in those days it was goal average not goal difference.   And that's exactly what they did (not like Hearts to bottle it).  Obviously because Sky didn't record it it doesn't really count.

That pleases me greatly. Crushing of der hun is always important, whatever the country. Saw some highlights of the first leg, sounded great.

Roma v Feyenoord been pretty disappointing so far. Roma 1-0 up playing standard Mourinho football. Not a great watch. Hopefully second half better.
