I fancy us to draw 1-1.

Hopefully lessons learned from last night, but considering that soft goals were our downfall again, then maybe not.

A team doesn't have to be good to beat us, just have to take the inevitable chances that will come their way.

It's a hell of a fixture to drop Suman into but at this stage I'm not sure we have a choice.  If Mitov starts and drops another clanger early on it the crowd is going to get toxic pretty quickly.  It does seem to have got to the stage where most of the support has reached the end of it's tether with Dimi.

Should have been subbed at halftime at Parkhead. Costing us goals and games regularly this season. His mistakes have far outweighed his Cup Final heroics in the penalty shoot out. Good shot stopper and reflex saves but he can't catch the ball at corners, can't kick it out to a red shirt or pass it. Liability. How bad must Suman be.

Is it that Suman is bad or are we just to scared to play another Australian, since we have had our fingers well and truly burned with Australian signings this season.

Whatever happens, it's not been good watching our cup final hero going through the mother and father of bad spells.

Strangely Keeper is the very position I would gamble on with young Australians. I've seen some very good amateur keepers here often they fail to make it at AFL (90% of which is catching the ball above your head) and close fielding cricket training involves a lot of reaction saves. Doesn't necessarily mean anything at the professional level but get them early enough? That said if Suman isn't ready at, what, 25? He may never be. 

Some extra training on crosses for Mitov might have a better return but a bossman central defender in front of him wouldn't hurt either.

I would just be happy if we ever actually did just literally stand up and go toe to toe with anyone. Something that we have not done in fkn ages.

He's not got much confidence though and he is costing us goals. Nobody can deny that.

Got nothing to do with us fans and it's not like he is getting booed from the stands or anything daft.

Would do him good to be dropped for a game or two, in my opinion.

Nothing against him at all and I think he is a good keeper.

He is of course not being helped, by our piss poor attempts at defending throughout the team.

My only concern about dropping him is knowing so little of Suman.

Saw Suman play for Cove a couple of times and he looked a decent keeper and we were not the only premier league side looking at signing him. However the only time I have seen him in a Dons shirt was KDM cup game against Spartans and he made errors that cost us first two goals in first half. He did play better in second half and make a couple of good saves but concede another 3 goals.

Wasn't really referring to your post, and absolutely he should be dropped if his form isn't good enough, like you would expect in any other position.

But there's others that want him to hand back his SC winners medal and do a walk of shame down union street.

The guy is the absolute star man in our biggest achievement in 35 years and we've got at least two folk on here (and Lord knows how many clowns on social media) who think a few months of poor performances have tarnished that? For a fan base that prides itself on being so good at backing the team, we really do have just as big a percentage of roasters as every other club.

why do you feel the need to be abusive

nobody is suggesting what you assert they are - that his poor form have somehow diminished his cup achievements

yet you agree his form has been poor (for too long) , as do others who think it's time he were swapped

You specifically said he’d “used up his credit”. The first poster said his mistakes now have “far outweighed” his performance in the cup final. Maybe clowns and roasters was a bit harsh but I find it incredible that people hold such an opinion and aren’t just lashing out in frustration and looking for a handy scapegoat.

Our centre backs have been absolutely rank for most of this season, that’s never going to help a keeper perform at their best.

Harsh on the central defenders. We have no left back and devlin/lobban aren’t consistent. Midfield is awful defensively. All of that has an impact on mitov, one impacts the other and it’s a domino effect. Give us a legit center half who is dominant in the air, a left back, and a proper defensive mid and I think you’d see improvement, including improvement in mitov. Obviously we need more than that.

And it's not good enough, he's been shaky for a large part of the season but the past month or so it's got worse.  I've gone beyond the hope he has a good game but I'm nervous of him when he has to do something stage and I'm now  actively expecting him to cost us a goal at some point per game. The 1st goal on Tuesday I greeted with a resigned shake of the head instead frustration and anger.  For his own good he needs to be dropped imo.
