tlg1903 Posted yesterday at 12:22 Report Posted yesterday at 12:22 After the gubbing of last night this game defo has a must not lose feel to it now. At least we are at home as i would not fancy much at ER. In A96 Main A96 Think there will be goals, 2 each maybe? Quote
Elgindon Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago Hibs on their day can give anyone a game, but their form this season has been patchy.Depends which version of either side truns up on Sunday.Think we use the term 'must win' too often these days.Lets see how much of an appetite the sensitive souls in our side will have after last night to want to win In - Y Prediction - Rarely get this right,so saying 1 - 2 Hibs. Panda Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago If results go our way and we win this one, we could be one point off third. If Hearts were to beat Celtic, we could also be just seven points off second. After the start we've had we really shouldn't be anywhere near that. Yet, on the other side of it, we could lose and be bottom of the table again. Keeps things interesting at least. Gyamfi hopefully is fit again (although might be just for the bench). I imagine after starting the last two games, Shinnie and Armstrong will be rested. If Lazetic isn't knackered I'd start him again - and he hasn't played a huge amount of games so really he should be fine. Karlsson and Aouchiche are funny ones. Often they drift out of games, but also remain dangerous - Karlsson especially. I wouldn't be adverse to Milanovic getting a start though, while I imagine Keskinen will be fired up after his early sub on Thursday. Quote

Aouchiche Don't think this is a "must win", but all eyes will definitely be on how the team react to Thursday's gubbing. Here's hoping the players are fired up rather than burnt out. Optimistically going for the former. 3-2 Dons (Karlsson, Armstrong, Hibs hibsing themselves with an arse-deflected o.g. from a keeper throw-out in the 93rd minute) Edited 19 hours ago by OxfordDon 1 Quote
manc_don Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago Agree that this is a must not lose game. After a 6-0 pumping last season we completely wilted, never to return again until the cup final. We can’t afford that this time round without the credit in the bank. Would like to see Clarkson and palaversa back for this, and I have no idea what is up with Milanovic? Doesn’t seem to be getting a look in these days. out (obviously) 2-2, Karlsson and Nisbet Quote

dons8321 Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Still in Athens as the flight has been cancelled, fortunately the kids are more technically aware (not a high bar admittedly) and sorted out another flight later on Saturday but means I'll miss my train connection so won't be able to make the game...every cloud etc. Quote

Think the bulk of them were easyJet. Heard an instance of someone not getting put on an alternative until Monday allegedly Hope it hasn't caused you too much inconvenience and have a safe journey home Quote
Jute2 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Disagree with Oxford I do think this game is firmly in the must win category. From what I have read the knives are well and truly out for Thelin. We need to score first tomorrow or can see the atmosphere turning ugly really quickly. If Gyamfi is fit would expect him back in at left back if not then would think it will be Molloy. Rest of defence will probably be as started at St Mirren. Would like to see Palaversa start with Shinnie in midfield and Armstrong to replace Aouchiche at 10. Would probably have Nisbet back in as striker and keep Lazetic to make an impact from the bench. Hibs have pace wide and will likely go after the defensively suspect Jensen from the off so we need to find a way of combatting that. Not looking forward to a train full of spoonburners tomorrow especially if they are celebrating a win. Will decide later if going to bother going up. Quote
