Anyone got much experience of Prague? What's the best area to aim to stay in?

Old Town area around Republic Square is about a 30 minute walk from the stadium (or 10 minute by Tram - Lines 8/26). I imagine that's also close to where most fans will be congregating.

We stayed in Zizkov (Prague 3 I think) last time. About 10 minutes from Old Town on tram or Metro. Was cheaper than more central areas with good few cheap local bars and restaurants.

Will have to try and avoid there then!

Overall it's about as good as we could put out given the restriction in squad size though a wee bit light in defence and a bit midfield heavy.  Theres a lot riding on Gyamfi getting fit soon and hitting the ground running too if you ask me.  From what little we know of him it is said he's rapid and attacking which could free up a lot of space for Karlsson given how Thelin wants his full backs to play

Surprising faith in tobers who has managed to string together about half an hour since signing.

Aye, it's a strange one. Although he looked good when he first joined.

I mentioned previously how I thought that signing Dorrington made zero sense. Whilst there are still plenty of games for him to be involved in during the season, I imagine it'll leave a sour taste missing out on Europe. It's great for us to have an option such as him if we get two injuries at the back (once Tobers is fit I mean), but it's at the expense of a young lad's development, which isn't great. He could have gone to Livingston or Dundee and played every single week. After his involvement last season, I hope we were at least up front and honest with him that he'd be third choice right centre back.

Problem with the he ticketing.

Unable to purchase my three game package at present 🤔

I did mine on Friday, it was no bother. Although it was just uptake of season ticket seat so might be different.

Think I should be perfectly ok for AEK ticket but Sparta is another matter all together.

To be honest can only hope that it being the week before Xmas is enough to put folk off going to this.

Alternatively, I could mug @RicoS321, steal his passport and priority points and get a bit of plastic surgery to attempt to pass myself off as him 😉

I was actually going to offer to use my account for your tickets until I read the bit about it having to be the same person travelling, as I won't be going. Understandable, I guess, but a bit shite. I remember the days when you could just turn up pished on the day and put on your best foreign accent and get into the home end.

The club are making somewhere between £4m and £5m from being in the group stages, but want the fans who are paying hundreds of pounds to travel over to these places in order to support the team, to chip in extra to pay for some buses?

The cheek of it.

Top man, that would have been really kind of you 👍

I won't give up on the ticket availability until they are all sold.

Fingers crossed 🤞

But if Aberdeen paid for those buses we wouldn't be able to afford Ambrose.  Think about that on your walk to the stadium.

Fuck me, if you're known to their police, then I guess I'd be better off being myself 😉
