swaddon Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 Bloody hell, it'll be midnight by the time they finish. Jambos just missed. Quote
BigAl Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 Falkirk through 5-4 Is that John McGlynn now cup tied Quote
Jute Posted January 17 Author Report Posted January 17 Penalty that was missed landed in Murrayfield Quote
OrlandoDon Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 Let’s hope we’re not the next ‘favorite’ out. Win tomorrow and it’s been a nice weekend! Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 Falkirk deserved that. They struggled initially, but worked at it and had a good second half. So that's the double off the table for Hearts now. Quote
swaddon Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 Well, it would be bad for Scottish football if Hearts won everything. Quote
swaddon Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 The last time neither of the Old Firm won anything was in 1955. We won the league, Clyde won the Scottish Cup and Hearts won the League Cup. Quote

Some of the most bigoted cunts I have ever met were Hearts fans. Ones we had on train back from last home game were real cunts. Quote
The.Moog Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 Wow, that really was flashback Saturday. Roos making an absolute ricket of a high ball and Del bottling a big cup tie. Lovely to see the diets out & the resulting seethe from the most deluded fanbase out there. Love the ones trying to deflect by saying we’re in a relegation battle. Not so chirpy when I point out that at age 54 I’ve actually seen the “third biggest team in Scotland” get relegated 5 times… 1 Quote
Panda Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 Teams we can face Premiership: Dundee / Dundee United / Falkirk / Motherwell / St Mirren / Rangers / Celtic (probably). Others: Airdrie / Elgin City / Dunfermline / Stenhousemuir / Kelty Hearts / Partick Thistle / Spartans / (winner of Stranraer v Queen's Park). So including us that's a 50/50 split between the Premiership & non-Premiership. Good chance of an appealing draw. Celtic will be at home to Falkirk as usual so we will avoid those two, and Rangers I imagine will be at home to Spartans. I quite fancy Dunfermline away, big away support at a ground we haven't played at for years, and a good tie. Kelty Hearts at home though, thanks. Quote
Jute Posted January 18 Author Report Posted January 18 Welsh starting for Celtic in Cup so not coming to us. Quote

BigAl Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 As someone that now resides in Ayrshire ( Missionary work) I am watching the Auchinleck v Victims cup tie. Glasgow's smelly East End residents against the six fingered, inbreed, Hun fuckwits from deepest, darkest Ayrshire Quote
BigAl Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 Twenty minutes gone Talbot keeping it to nothing each is probably better than we would have done Quote

dons8321 Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 Nice to see Talbot wearing our old 2nd kit and the keeper wearing all red. Quote
swaddon Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 "Sack the board" chants coming from the away ends. Didn't the old chairman leave recently? How many boards do they want? Quote

Jute Posted January 18 Author Report Posted January 18 Home tie against a lower league side would be ideal. If it is away not seen Dons play at Airdrie, Kelty Hearts and Queens Park so any of them although suspect getting tickets for Queens Park would be impossible. Quote
