Great win and some strike by Nisbet but overall thought we did not play particularly well especially in first half. We got better once We took off Morris and Gueye. No idea what Gueye’s strop about getting subbed was about as thought he was lucky to come out for 2nd half. Subs made us better and we looked more dangerous in second half. Train back was full of disappointed spoonburners was entertaining.

Absolutely horrific highlights package from our supposed national broadcaster.

Any one tuning in to that without having been at, or watched via a stream would be under the impression that Hibs controlled every aspect of that game until our disallowed goal.

How the fuck they found so much to show from a team without a single shot on target is beyond me

Whilst I'm at it, don't think Peter Grant (cunt) likes us :wanker:

Aye, I think something went wrong with the editing there. They even showed a previously unseen highlight where Bushiri blocked two shots in a row in the post-highlights piece, which was easily as relevant as any of the highlights shown.

Peter Grant is a simpering imbecile. Barely literate fuckwit. He was there to fulfil the need to have a "Celtic man" on the show. In fairness, finding a literate one would have been extremely difficult.

Don’t agree, I thought we played very well. You have to factor we were playing the on form team who have beaten Celtic and rangers, plus hearts and united, on their run too. Oh, and us. Not sure we could have done more. We were suspect from crosses/corners as usual and they had 3 headers they could have scored, but we dominated possession, created chances, were defensively solid, and did a good job keeping Boyle quiet.

morris is back to me thinking he’s our super sub, and gueye is not quick thinking enough. Both good to bring off the bench. I’d start okkels and McGrath next week, but with those two not here next year, I feel these are two legit ‘must’ signings this summer. Our main priority for sure, provided we sign nisbet!

its a palaversa polvara dilemma for me. Clarkson is playing well and deserves to start. Palaversa isn’t playing badly, covers a lot of ground, and sits in. Does a defensive job. Although Clarkson is deep too and has done more recently defensively. Polvara definitely offers drive from midfield and is much more attack minded. Another good performance yesterday. Think he scored a similar goal against hibs last year too, was unlucky with his well worked chance. Is jimmy brave enough to go with Clarkson and polvara next week?

Yeah i thought we played well too, first 15 minutes were a wee bit ropey, and our defensive play with any form of cross into the box remains a big concern, but, for the most part, I felt we were the  team with the wind in our sails.  Hibs came for a point, don't blame them for that at all and that is one of the better hibernian defences I've seen for a while....... it's not really their forte is it 🤣.  Morris really couldn't get into it though I think that had a lot to do with Obita who had a great game I thought.  Mcgrath was solid when he came on and kudos to him for that, you wouldn't be human if you weren't thinking about next season a wee bit if you were him but he was a complete pro and I am sad to see him leave. My man crush on Dante Polvara continues to grow as i thought he was really good when he came on but sadly another mixed report card for Palaversa.  I kinda wonder if he's trying just a wee bit too hard at the moment.  Some ping from Nisbet and goal of the season being rightly mentioned..... I would go a bit further 2bh and say it wouldn't look out of place in the puskas nominations.  He's done well to even control the ball on the chest as it had some pace on it and then to volley it on the outside of the boot when leaning back and being hugely off balance is mightily impressive.  Unfortunatley moments like that will just make him more expensive and desired elsewhere.

edit:  I would also add I thought Jensen had a very good game yesterday.

totally agree, palaversa has a bite and physicality polvara does not appear to have and st mirren away isn’t going to be pretty.

Picked up on the Bushiri thing and thought it was a particularly strange incident.

Reckon it is the first time I can recollect such amateur editing with a panel discussing an incident that supposedly wasn't worthy of inclusion on the initial highlights package.

Mickey Mouse stuff from the BBC Scotland 😂

I've seen them do it once or twice before, when they are highlighting a particular player and showing several of their opportunities, some of which might not have made the cut, but never seen it when discussing a whole team's performance. When you saw some of the chances shown from other games too, it just adds to the evidence that it was a poor edit. In fairness, it's a very tight turnaround to get a pigeon with a VHS strapped to it to Glasgow for 19:15.

And then you've got to cut and splice it.

The VHS not the pigeon before the animal rights crew jump on board 😉

I caught "Ref Watch" on SSN yesterday. They included the "incident" where a free kick was awarded to Aberdeen after a brief goalmouth scramble for a foul on Mitov I think. Dermot Gallagher seemed to be of the opinion that there was no foul and that the "goal should have stood" (possibly paraphrasing) but for a goal to stand the ball would first have to cross the line and it seemed pretty clear to me from the replay from behind the goal that the whole ball wasn't even close to crossing the line. Fuds.
