  1. The only positive contribution Ramadani seems to have made so far is talking Miovski into signing for us. Certainly not the midfield enforcer he was heralded as, more a soggy Bisconti.
  2. They could probably get Derek McInnes or Michael O’Neill if they pushed the boat out. Not terribly exciting but they’d get consistent top 6 finishes and cup semi finals which is probably enough for them to include in their honours list.
  3. Probably still for the best, if Potter is going to blood young players like Gilmour into his Chelsea team when he has a blank chequebook available to him, I can’t see him lasting long. And better for Scotland if he gets used to “carrying” an average team rather than being surrounded by world class players. Still not convinced his career won’t take an Oliver Burke style nosedive though.

Hardly seems fair, she kept performing her duties when they died

Minute’s silence at home to the Huns will be interesting
  6. Scott Wright is starting a Champions League group match. Who would’ve saw that coming a couple of years ago?
  7. Last time I checked, Goodwin isn’t my wife, so if that’s the case just be open and direct about it? “He doesn’t fit into my team and as he’s on a big contract it would be best for all parties if we could find him a transfer away” The overwhelming response to that would be “aye ok, fair enough”.
  8. Some weird quotes from Goodwin in the Daily Record this morning about him not being prolific enough from when he was appointed last season which overlooks the complete lack of creativity in the team at the time. Plus if it was purely down to his scoring statistics, surely his pre-season and League Cup performances were enough to at least keep him on the bench.
  9. I feel a bit sorry for him. Unfairly accused of downing tools when Glass got sacked but I think you can more accurately track his dip in form to when Ryan Hedges was sold and not adequately replaced. Seemed to try hard and do relatively well in pre-season and seems to be relentlessly positive when plenty of other players would take a big sulk.
  10. Employing that dour Poundshop-Derek-McInnes charlatan as manager is probably a bigger contributor. He’s done absolutely nothing as a manager other than get a St Mirren side luckily brimming with generational talent promoted and done nothing other than make average teams more average since. Yet he’ll still get mentioned for top roles every time there’s a vacancy. Baffling.
  11. Imagine, just imagine being as tinpot as Dundee United.
  12. Jim’s loon looks a player. Vinny’s footwork has been brilliant. Scales doesn’t look out of place at left back, bombing up the flank like peak Considine. Only negative has been Stewart’s passing, although his general tackling and reading of the game has been excellent, but must be sitting on 25% passing success rate.
  13. That’s Morris confirmed on a 4 year deal.
  14. Polvara would benefit from a 6 month loan to a Championship team.
  15. I’d be a bit worried if Coulson was our first choice left back considering he hardly got a game in his last 2 loans to Ipswich and Peterborough. More likely to be Hayes in a deeper role if he’s still looking to bring in another winger.
  16. Top bins is a Soccer AM thing isn’t it? Sometimes see some bellends on my FB feed sharing videos (before I muted them) of that mewling quim Jimmy Bullard trying to kick the ball into wheelie bins that have been zip tied to goalposts.
  17. Team mate of Jayden Richardson last season, that’s the second time we’ve signed 2 players who played for the same team last season. Hopefully he’s already got a good understanding with Richardson if he plays on the right also.
  18. Seems like we have lots of bad luck with injuries of young players after a run of games. McKenzie and Ramsay also had long spells out last season and I think McKenna had a bit of a spell out too.
  19. Put me down for 55 P38 W15 D10 L13
  20. Possibly, it was given by the linesman with his flag about 20 seconds after the ball went in so I assumed offside.
  21. Good performance overall, should have been a hammering but for some bad luck and Ramirez missing a couple of sitters (looked hungry though which is a good sign). McCrorie probably our best player followed by Kennedy. Vincente was very lively but always seemed to make the wrong choice of direction to turn or pass to make. The boy Milne that came on for Stewart (and preferred to Bates) is an absolute giant and absolutely bodied anyone that came near him. One to watch. Stewart looked very strong defending his penalty box but looks very vulnerable to balls played in behind him. Very slow to turn. Something to watch out for. Scales looked comfortable but needs to do something with his barnet. He’s not acting in a period drama.
  22. McCrorie scored from where I’m sitting. Couldn't see if Ramirez was offside or not. Vinny got booked for not diving, trying his best to stay on his feet. Ramadani looks good, spraying passes about everywhere. Doesn’t look like an “enforcer” though so still room for Shinnie… Went for a pish, thon bird is not there now. Hope he’s ok.
  23. MOTM of the first half is this plucky fella. Has managed to avoid being eaten by a pack of Hun seagulls and has made a better job of tackling Richardson than Wylde has:
  24. First time in the Main Stand for what must be 30 years or so, cracking seat right behind a pillar. Are they not supposed to warn people about restricted view seats?
  25. They made 4 subs at half time too, this guy will be gone by Christmas.
