  1. Going to against grain here and say I would not be rushing to offer Polvara a new deal. Definitely looks better than he did when he first arrived but that’s a low bar to set.
  2. Another McKenzie. Alfie Stewart, Bavidge and Marshall with Dons goals in 5-3 defeat. Williams was booked in second half according to Peterhead match report.
  3. Only alarming thing is that they are not much further behind.
  4. Once got the hotel in San Francisco to open the bar at 4am so I watch a Dons v Celtic early kick off on the big screen. Ended up watching it with the cleaners and night porter who were all of Central American decent so all into football. As it was Celtic we got gubbed as usual and they all thought I mad to have got up to watch it knowing we would get beat.
  5. Thought we played as well as we could today but never really looked like winning the game. Always felt like Celtic had another gear to go through where as for most of our players today was as good as it gets. Was better than I feared it would be but really still the same end result.
  6. Todays preliminary round results.
  7. Sure blame someone else what happened to corporate responsibility?
  8. He says from his Villa overlooking the Mediterranean.
  9. Just found out that earliest I can get to Aberdeen on Sunday on the train is 1147 so now having to stay over on the Saturday night. This just gets better. Looking like no new players in now so same team as Saturday. Saw nothing from that performance to suggest we will get anything other than soundly beaten. In breakfast in town Y Pub then train back to Capital. 3-0 no Dons scorer.
  10. Next announcement is one out rather than the expected/hoped incoming.
  11. Hacken 1-0 up currently.
  12. Looks like Wolves were wanting rid of their manager for some time as they have already appointed Gary O’Neil.
  13. In some sort of record the Wolves manager departs before the season has even started.
  14. Both Tribute Act ties and home legs for the Edinburgh teams to be live on BBC. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66437432
  15. Did you have to bring this up now. Going to force me into deciding if I am going to bother with this. Was hoping to avoid thinking about this until Friday at the earliest.
  16. O’Hara is under contract for another 3 years. Think we will struggle to get him for a decent fee. Baccus is out of contract so available at a cheaper price. They accepted £275k for Baccus earlier in the summer. O’Hara was better player on Sunday but overall think Baccus would be better option.
  17. Draw is 12pm today. https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/draws/
  18. Would be disappointed if McKenna was to drop down to Celtic’s level. I would have thought he had done enough for another bottom half EPL team to buy him if Forrest are selling. As for Scales I am still not convinced we should be paying for him especially the amount Celtic are allegedly asking for. 100% cannot be another loan.
  19. That was special even for Hibs. Can see them taking a right doing on Thursday.
  20. That was awful. Why did we try to punt the ball long for 90 minutes against a team of giants. Zero width. Morris was rotten. Cannot believe it took 80 minutes for him to be hooked. I am guessing Robson has no faith in most of bench today as that’s only reason I can think of for not making changes they were clearly needed. Next week could be very painful.
  21. Hopefully replacement is already lined up.
  22. 3-0 now Doidge
  23. 2-0 now for Hibs Boyle with both.
  24. Hibs currently 1-0 up in second leg after 20 minutes and now on 3rd keeper of the evening.
