If Goodwin is going to stick with 2 up top then I think we need to give Miovski and Lopes a bit longer to form a partnership as the two before making a change. No reflection on Ramirez as he has looked decent when he has come off the bench.

This is sort of game we should be looking to win if we are going to get third. Both teams have been on decent runs aside from thumpings from the Glasgow bigots. Expect Coulson to come back in for McKenzie although not convinced that will really help us defensively. We played 4-2-3-1 against Hibs and United and were just as bad as we were yesterday. To play a 4 means having Richardson at right back beside Stewart at right centre half which was causing us huge problems defensively earlier in the season. We have been slightly better defensively the previous 3 games to yesterday with us playing the 3-5-2. I do agree that rest of the league is pretty poor and if anyone can string a run of results together they will run away with third. Not convinced anyone will from what I have seen though.

Enjoyable final. Flamengo probably shaded it but Paranaense never looked like they were down to 10. Only Flamengo’s 3rd Libertadores win which surprised me given how big a club they are.

I think part of Stewart’s issue in a 4 is him having to cover right back due to Richardson being shite. A solid right back in his place would let us go back to a 4 at the back, the managers preferred set up, and enable Stewart to concentrate on his own game.
