They were a bit unlucky this weekend with the results that they have not closed the gap on Dundee and Kilmarnock. However nothing will make the eye bleeding shite of our game against them look better. That game almost put me off football for life.

This is only being done to benefit the usual two and not the rest of us. If they want to reduce fixtures for rest of top flight then ditch the league cup group games and go back to straight knockout format. Means could start league games earlier and create space later in calendar. Would not benefit either of the bigots but might others.

Just watched highlights of that. Neither team seemed capable of defending. Could easily have finished 5-5.

Really pleased with that performance other than the goal we conceded. Clarkson and Palaversa were excellent. Better from Okkels but no way I would pay a fee for him. Thought Gueye was lucky not to get a red for his challenge in first half without having seen if back on TV. Nisbet lead forward line brilliantly. Still not sure how his second dipped so much. Ross Hardie is a terrible referee and probably does need some time back in lower leagues. Should not be officiating top flight games. Very pleasant journey back to capital tonight.

As this is last season 3rd could be guaranteed European group football think we need to get in to get in and make the cash.
