Been a brutal watch so far. We seem content to sit in and hope to sneak something on the break. Much like approach for the last 30 years there. Hardest part is they are not that good but we are showing no real intent to try and win the game.

In England Sunderland produced a smash and grab in first leg of Championship play off away at Coventry 2-1. I have a ticket for second leg at stadium of light next Tuesday so happy that game still open. As an aside it’s annoying that you can travel back from a league game in England mid week on public transport yet only way to do it from a mid week game in Aberdeen is to get a bus that does not get back into Edinburgh until 27 minutes past 2 in the morning.

From what I have seen I expect Dundee or County to beat Livingston or Thistle.

There are a few of the old Meadowbank fans involved at Edinburgh City. Most of them did not follow the team to Livingston as they were totally against the move. Some had even been banned by the then chairman for protests about the move and a couple who even now refuse to set foot in Almondvale.

Surprised by the Elgin score as they have been decent the couple of times I have seen them. To close to call with the second leg to come in Methill. Can’t remember if I have said before but Meadowbank is an awful place to watch football. Running track means you are miles from action and flat standing doesn’t give you any hight to improve the view. Stand is only 3 rows so not much better.

Really surprised at Airdrie’s league form this season after our league cup game against them where they looked a decent side. Cove gave Arbroath a real run for the title for a while then faded in last few weeks but think it will be between the two of them.

Saw Stenny had made playoffs and could relegate the cunts that are Airdrie. Will be over at Edinburgh City v East Fife tomorrow night. City manager should be up for manager of the year. City team were assembled at last minute over the summer with no cash and he has managed to get a team together that made play offs ahead of teams with bigger budgets.
