  5. My new GF and I have started dancing lessons. Good exercise and surprisingly good fun! So far we've been learning basics for the waltz, Argentinian tango and the rhumba, early days, but it does appear I don't have 2 left feet after all Anyone else done dance lessons, any advice?
  6. Televised tie will surely be the hun v mini-hun tie
  7. Refreshing, and a measure of the man, that it wasn't played out in the full glare of public "sympathy"
  8. If we get Rodgers back I'd still like to think we'd be looking for at least a more capable back-up, if not a better No1 Liverpool have aye been cunts, has to be said.
  9. "Eh, Pep, ehhh ah hear you'll be oot a job soon, funcy comin' to Aiberdeen? 1000 quid a week an a' the rowies yi can scoff." ETA: We'll be looking at cheap options or someone else's "failure, not that necessarily means failure, but I fear the likes of John Hughes coming in......
  10. Out 1-0 Hayes
  11. Mr Rocket, much as I have grown, genuinely, to value your voicing of your opinions, I will disagree with this quote, probably taken out of context, but let's see where we go with this If so, any school I've taught at in Scotland and abroad, and any organisation I've worked for, would have sacked the "boss" many, many times, and not laid blame at us "foot soldiers" Back on track.....Milne is a fuck-up, but a fuck-up that may well have saved AFC from oblivion? I have no real insider info to back this up, but maybe better a club still alive "owned" by a fuckwit, than a dead club? Genuinely not looking for a fight here, just observations from my, maybe childlike, POV.
  12. Isn't Bain another AFC "reject"?
  13. From a personal perspective depression is something I've lived with and suffered over a significant time. Mrs. MBT no2 suffered long term and refused any help. She was an intelligent woman, but her view was "I know what they'll ask, I know how to answer so they won't put me in hospital, I don't need help" About a month or so after her suicide I saw a Stephen Fry programme about bi-polar disease and they showed a woman described as suffering from the "most severe case" the doctor on the show had seen and it was like looking at my wife. For me personally, I have spent years always being the cheerful optimist and just burying my hurt, my fears, my worries and stresses (and self medicating with alcohol) until in 2014 I admitted myself to an outpatient programme to treat my alcohol issues, but still ignored to underlying cause. Ultimately everything came to a head about 3 weeks ago and I ended up in hospital being treated for my depression and anxiety and, this time, I'm receiving ongoing help from 3 doctors/psychiatrists and have got medication that seems to work. It's early days and baby steps for now....... However, I still feel uncomfortable with the stigma of suicide from Mrs. MBT#2, and from the stigma that still attaches to mental health issues here (just like in Scotland I guess). Only a few of my closest friends and family know, the doctor's letter to the school re medical leave of absence is similarly non specific about the reasons. I do wonder what the response would be like if I told people.......
  14. I may well have been online, but that doesn't mean I was sat at my computer........ Anyway things I know and feel? I know I'm on medical leave of absence for at least several weeks due to severe clinical depression. I feel pretty shite.

    Films

Watched Inside Out last night, very enjoyable.
  16. Assuming that's aimed at me I do have other things that occupy my time, and I am 6 hours behind in a different timezone, and it had been answered already. OK
  17. I can't help myself, sorry, but............... Calderwood was appointed because of Willie Miller, not "chosen" by Milne IIRC Goodnight
  18. Well I'm guessing Scotland has no FFP rule, but needing to borrow money to pay for the squad you have, before adding to it would surely breach this. I was more referring to there being a finite number of pricks with a finite amount of money to loan to keep bailing out the cunts. That is what needs to end. And a Happy New Year t you Rocket
  19. From today's BBC gossip They need MORE credit, but are signing MORE players? Surely this needs to end
  20. Remember it well Al, IIRC there was a game played in a torrential downpour as well, rivers of water coming off the stand
  21. Oot Throwing up Throwing up throwing up AFC 4 PTFC 0 Rooney (2 pens) Hayes Reynolds
  22. OK, good fightback for a draw? Crappy performance and lucky? Gollum ruined the game? Please enlighten me, thank you.
  23. It's a local shop list for local weegie/of people
