  1. Lightning strikes 3 of Chicago's tallest buildings simultaneously .
  2. Exactly, whilst I am not happy with many things at the club, the youth are the only shining light at the moment. Hopefully they repay the clubs faith and live up to their potential!
  3. True, but as Kow said, this is the poorest Aberdeen squad we've probably ever had. As much as it pains me to say it we can't have these expectations at the moment. Last season wasn't a freak season, we weren't unlucky, we were outplayed and "out passioned" in most games. These players don't have it in them, and since most of them are still there, it's sadly not going to miraculously change. I'd prefer a harder start as this rabble seem to "raise their game" against better opposition. You know I'm an optimistic person, but thus far, AFC have done nothing to change my thoughts from last season. Having said all this, I pray i'm wrong and McGhee, the coaching staff and the players turn it around over the summer and correct what was missing last season.
  4. It's the sad indictment of the times we are now in that these are what we expect from our team. But we have to face facts, we're no where near where we once were and I don't see it changing anytime soon. Especially with the way teams set up against us.
  5. It should be 9 points, I'd accept 6, but it'll probably be 4. We have to bare in mind that we are always slow starters. If we're struggling by christmas then mcghee would have to go. But lets hope it doesn't come to that.
  6. As long as its not a cherry bakewell. He'll be fine
  7. I thought 1st April was earlier in the year? I can't wait to see what this new team is going to look like....
  8. Thats what amused me about the article, saying that the scout had gone to watch him and been impressed. When? He didn't play much after his first couple of games?
  9. My thoughts exactly. Far too excited
  10. I know in all seriousness though, we need to replace him, as he was a source of a number of goals. Fozzy and Grassi do not give us that outlet. I know Mulgrew didn't give us many goals in the end, but the fact is, he did create more than most. But, I stand by the general stance of my post, I really do worry for next season. I just hope McGhee can pull it out of the hat.
  11. Dear Christ, really? Can we just get skip the season and get relegated now? This way we don't have to deal with the embarrassment that this season will be. Have they learnt nothing about the past few years about not replacing players?!?
  12. I see McGhee is in the press saying the club are being used like a pawn in the agents chess game and there is not a lot of action at the moment.
  13. Photos look great Kow! Always wanted to see them live and to this day, Rhythm and Stealth is one of my favourite albums ever.
  14. It's so sad but true, and I think thats why we treated it with suspicion as soon as the statement was made. Club in trying to fool the fans shocker.
  15. I think the more worrying words there are, as many as.... Kinda leaves scope for less. Or am I reading too much into that? We all know we need at least 6 players in. I've already made my fears for next season known, but I am hoping that the club/MM pulls it out of the bag.
  16. The club keep doing this, and wonder why the fans are so sceptical. We've had at least 10 years of this hot air and lies. I want to see some action AFC, not just word play.
  17. Dislike
  18. Tried writing that whilst on the bus but my phone died. I'm still certain we would have been relegated had he not had his decent form earlier in the season. That is not to say he's not a twat. Because he is.
  19. To be fair, they do have a bigger broom cupboard.
  20. I mind seeing that somtime last season. Hilarious stuff
  21. In total agreement bobby. I can't knock his dedication to the club he loves but Fuck me, he's shite.
  22. Good. You will not be missed.
  23. A very stark and accurate assessment really. I will say, currently, we are not looking likely to improve with the players we have and as the days draw on (yes it is still early days) it is is looking less and less likely. I think the youth are our only hope, but again, we can't rely on them. As things stand, there is no way we will improve on last season.
  24. What an odious cretin. Please. Just go away.
  25. Got a tip for a horse today. Cumbrian Cabbie. It's a 12/1 shot.
