  1. Because it happens all the time with most of our transfers. Not just this manager, but many before him.
  2. I would
  3. Whilst i'm disappointed by this i guess they must have been the only one to offer a decent deal. At least it puts us out of our misery. We all knew we were never going to get him anyway.
  4. In/Oot: Out Prematch: Work Match: Work then probably a pub Postmatch: Home and bed! Prediction: 1-1
  5. Just seen the highlights, it was good to see we seemed to create a few opportunities, and was that Ifil winning a header from a corner? Fantastic finish from Young, and seemed like he was highly unlucky not to get a second. Same again next week please!
  6. I noticed that as well Kow and I have to admit it made me laugh! Good to see he'll never change. I'm glad he won but I'm even happier of the 3 points. We needed it today. Big style. I look forward to seeing the goal on sunday. According to BBC Mackie had a thunderous effort headered off the line? I can't believe we lined up 1 up front at home! Total disgrace but hey ho, we got 3 points eventually. I think its nice how its clear JC holds the club in high regard. Good on ya wee Derek
  7. Really need a win today. With Motherwell's probable win today means that they will be 6 points clear of us at the time of k.o. The team are in desperate need of finding some form. COME ON YOU REDS!
  8. Motherwell currently one up against St. Midden, and the London Huns are 2 up at Preston. Hart playing ok though had a couple of suicide moments. Edit: Motherwell 2- St.Midden 0

  10. Sorry its been a long week :
  11. I think we need to consider a position in every department of the team (by that I mean, defence, midfield, the wings and attack). There is not one of those that does not need addressing. And the problem is, I don't think one is less of a priority than the other right now, well possibly central midfield but still. Its just difficult to see where we would a) get the recruits from and b) be able to afford them
  12. Just got on a train at waterloo after being on the picadilly line with a load of Gooners. I didn't realise they were top of the league. Good on them i say, i certainly didn't predict they would be anywhere near the summit at the start of the season. Seems like i missed a great day of football
  13. My choice pairing as well. But that all hinges on the Miller of 12 months ago is playing. Otherwise A N Other please.
  14. This really fucked me off. I don't know (well I do) but I can't believe the world sits back and lets those cunts get away with invading another country. International law is so weak towards them its ridiculous. I mean, how the fuck did that guy get away with shooting that Palestinian despite being caught on camara??? There is ethnic cleansing occuring and yet the West in particular does nothing. Its farce. I hope Jews in the occupied territories get their comeuppance.
  15. Rocket, i don't even think we need to 'make up' a new group for the MIGers as there are clearly people, not necessarily on this site, who back him to the hilt and seem to think he is the dogs Bollocks. I don't think anyone can dispute that the board cannot afford to give him the backing they, and we want them to. This is because of their short sightedness at the peak time of jc's tenure. This has lead to a dramatic slump of form on and off the pitch and thus culminated in sacking jc when the club could not afford to do so. However, thats beside the point. The summer is when there are decent players available and Mcghee wasted most of it tracking players we were never going to sign. Sound familiar? I hope Mcghee, and i know everyone here does too, turns it around and becomes successful. The warning signs are there though, we should not be losing to st midden. Mcghee and the team need to buck up their ideas. We went for a manager that finished below us, and so far we can see why.
  16. Whilst I see his point, people in England have no idea who the fuck he is, and chairmen generally will want to go for a "name" first and foremost.
  17. I noticed this earlier today and thought he didn't come out of it looking very good. I still think, if there had been a club in England interested in him, he would have bitten their hand off. And if it didn't come after all these "top 6" finishes, I doubt it ever will. I thank JC for what he did for the club, but the embarrassing domestic cup campaigns were ultimately his downfall and the bit you highlighted BB is probably why we never pushed on. He didn't know what it was like to win and therefore didn't understand it.
  18. Dave, i'm not sure, and correct me if i am wrong, but i am sensing undertones within your message? damn people with real lives, the internet is where its at! Go Aberdeen!
  19. Mcdonald is in no bargaining position here. How he could cancel talks is laughable. Same could be said for miller. I hope they come out and explain themselves. I think it maybe time for us to but our losses with both and move on.
  20. Its something they've been talking a lot about recently down here. United are very one dimensional at the moment. I.e. Relying far too much on rooney and i think that and the combination of becoming a father has had its toll on him. Just seems dead at the moment. I agree about Berbatov, he's got a phenomenal touch and technique. Just don't see it often enough. Certainly not worth 30 million they said for him! His goal sounded quite special today, despite the deflection. Was a very important win for them today, with the london huns knocking sunderland for 6!
  21. Tims down 1-0 at home to Falkirk Although that just brings another team closer to us... :\ Edit: 1-1 now, Hearts and Jutes both winning. Bobby, United are struggling big time! I thought Berbatov seemed to be coming into a bit of a game not long before Christmas but has been pretty dire since and apparently spurned their best chance of the half.
  22. As much as i know you hate me saying these immortal words, i completely agree with you ajja.
  23. Miller doesn't have an average at best strike rate tho? He has a Shite at best.....rid of as soon as we can for as much as we can.
  24. Good on the club, but still a shame why they can't just include the deal up to kick off. But hey ho, hopefully they'll get a few extra in through the turnstiles.
  25. I was confused by that as well!
