Bizarre film, I'd give it a 7/10. Agree with you Tyrant about tom hardy, he was absolutely brilliant and should get an award for it. Di caprios role didn't really require much talking so again, agree that he's had better roles that were more deserving. The cinematography was outstanding as was the soundtrack but I can totally see why it divides opinion. Half of the folk I went with didn't enjoy it, partially because it was so bleak.
It should be straightforward, but we are and always have been unbearably unreliable (as you say). Dundee seem to be scoring a lot of goals and you just don't know which AFC team will turn up
I'd agree, i'd say public safety take precedent over footballing ability. They'd expect a bigger (and possibly aggressive) crowd than say St Johnstone so I'd expect the Police would want to be able to police it easier.
Hopefully the team can take full confidence going into this game after going a man down and winning 3-2 away from home. They also need to start exactly as they started the county game!
In/out: Out
Prematcher: Work
Match: hoping to listen online en-route to manc
post match: out in town somewhere
Prediction: 2-2, Hayes and Rooney
Really do need another 3 points. Not sure if we perform better when we know we can't go top or something but the team just need to worry about themselves.
I think we'll go further to the right. The left will continue to go left whilst the middle ground folk will get put off by the left and be fooled by the corporate press and decide that the right wing vote is a safer bet. Hopefully i'm wrong though.
How are the huns able to afford £500k for two transfers?!? Surely St. Johnstone are not stupid enough to allow them to pay in instalments for O'Halloran.
Bridge of Spies - Brilliant film and it appears that the Stasi guy from Deutschland 83 has just continued his role.
Sicario - Excellent and very dark.
The Lobster - Enjoyed it but it's a very strange film
Absolutely, have long thought the same and Derek Rae said the same thing on the BTM Aberdeen podcast last week. We're now seeing how good he was. It's why Consi and Reynolds will never work, both require babysitting. Quinn for me is a guy who's a bit more reliable than Consi / Reynolds / Taylor. I still think we need a commanding CB because the above 3 are fine on their day but prone to fuck ups. Reynolds just isn't what he was alongside Anderson.
Aye, you could say the same for Rooney, some bad misses, but unlucky with that final chance. I'm exhausted from watching that. I really hope we don't tire in the second half. That was played at a frenetic pace.
Team news:
Brown, Logan, Shinnie, Taylor, Reynolds, McLean, Storie, Goodwillie, Hayes, McGinn and Rooney
Good to see Storie in amongst it! Surprised Hayes has kept his place.
Subs: Collin, quinn, Consi, Ross, Pawlett, Smith, Robson
