  1. Absolutely a must win game. We can't beat that shower of shite, then whats the point they need to forget about the start, That's in the past and now irrelevant. We've lost too much ground, it's time to start again.
  2. 7 goals in 6 games!

    Drugs

Don't get me wrong, I know hoping the money would be used correctly by those in charge is wishful thinking because unfortunately, human greed would take over. It shouldn't be a reason for it not to go ahead though. It is ridiculous that drugs are given special status despite alcohol and tobacco being equal if not worse in their effects and consequences.

    Drugs

So, it seems like Ireland are on point with their latest legislation, allowing same sex marriages and now looking at legalising drugs. Personally, I think that this is something that should have happened here as it would allow a) the government to take away profit from the cartels / gangs and allow them to tax it, much like they already do with alcohol and cigarettes b) allow them to get sufficient monies to help those with the addiction. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/ireland-to-decriminalise-small-amounts-of-drugs-including-heroin-cocaine-and-cannabis-for-personal-a6719136.html So a question to you DTer's, is this the right route for us? Will Ireland see an increase in substance abuse?
  5. Agreed and if you think about it, the bonus for anyone finishing as high up as they can should be the lure of European football. The Tims could make plenty of money from finishing top if they actually successfully qualified for the champions league, they just fail to do it Would an even financial playing board make some more boring to watch? I'm not sure.
  6. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/celtic/1331865-spfl-sides-to-share-record-21m-prize-money-payout-in-201516-season/ I didn't bother with the lower leagues. But septic getting pretty much double what second place is ridiculous (positional prize money). Albeit is only about £800k more in total.
  7. Every one of those goals was unavoidable. The only person I dont blame is Ward as technically, all 3 goals were very, very good.

    Films

Saw it on Sunday. Thought it was ace, apart from the song. Was a bit disappointed that monica belucci had such a short role though.
  9. I don't think I'll buy it forever, Rico. Not sure when I'll stop but there'll definitely be a time. I'm guessing when as you rightly say that the WW2 veterans have passed. The fact that there have been a few conflicts since that I disagree with that are now supported by the purchases of them lessens the financial attachment I had to them, but I think I'd still wear one out of respect. Granted it will probably leave me open to criticism but everyone has their own ways of paying their respects.
  10. Seems like a relevant time to bump this thread. What a difference a few months make. The only things which still apply to what I mentioned at the start of the season is Ward. Our centre half pairing (which ever one it seems to be) has been so inconsistent since the slump started. I think ED touched on the preferred defence Logan - Quinn - Reynolds - Shinnie It's certainly a line-up i'd be happy with and like to see stuck with for a few weeks to allow them all to form a partnership. This chop and change isn't doing anyone any good. Least of all the fans! Regardless of whether Logan leaves in Jan or not, we need someone to cover that position. McLaughlin is useless.
  11. That the astroturf pitch near the school? Think I played the Glasgow Uni medics there once. Hopefully the game yesterday was just a set back!
  12. http://www.northsound1.com/localnews/listen-mcinnes-on-celtic-defeat/#.VjdpJPo6uBM.twitter McInnes on the game
  13. Rightly or wrongly, that's how I see his position as well. More attacking than defensive and should be playing almost in that "no 10" role. We just need a no nonsense leader behind him.
  14. No I don't, but I don't think I need to answer my opinions to all and sundry. I get where you're coming from but it's not something that bothers me.
  15. Personally, I do. Out of a mark of respect for those who have fallen. I discount recent conflicts though.
  16. Completely agree. Absolutely devastated by the recent catastrophic slump. Our league position is slightly embarrassing given where we were. Hearts, a promoted team, who we have beaten are now above us despite being 9 points ahead of them. I do agree with weegie red that the team need to forget about others around them and focus on themselves. Theyre not performing to anywhere near they can, confidence is provably a big part of it but it is now down to the management to arrest this and pick the players up. We also need to start taking our chances. We could have easily taken something from that game, but our profligacy in front of goal and a moment of outstanding stupidity cost us dearly. That was a shit Celtic side and we made it so fucking easy for them.
  17. Used to like Taylor as I thought after his more than shaky start he'd seemed to put that behind him. But no. Saturday was absolutely awful. There are no excuses for that level of stupidity. McInnes needs to drop him.
  18. Thank fuck the convicts got done! Great game, they made a contest of it but I was very pleased to see the all blacks triumph. I still lol at England
  19. Ambrose on, we need to get 3 quick goals.
  20. Well, Taylors suicidal tackle which he didn't need to make. Great. 3-0 now. Cunts.
  21. Shane, Rooney had the ball in the net but ruled out for offside, correct decision right enough. Playing better on the counter after a dodgy start. Considine actually having a good game against the tims and has to go off injured. Quinn on.
  22. Not necessarily the line up I'd have gone for but COYR
  23. Fair enough team, but a bit slow in midfield, especially having both rooney and Goodwillie, but does allow for something different to come off the bench. I really do want to see Smith coming on again, he was growing into the team before he seemed to stop playing. Not long to go now! I hope it's not over by half time
  24. Welcome to London
  25. I'm not sure, I thought he got done quite a few times last season. And that was at centre half.
