Fair play Nicola Sturgeon, its just a shame that all the other leaders are so short sighted. But they know that the majority of people are stupid and reactionists so this will appease the brain dead (themselves included on that statement). Whilst I agree with the sentiment of Andrew Neil last night (I know John Oliver did something similar in the US earlier this week), this is possibly an example of a reactionist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oONoFFK5H0k I see first the EPL and now the SPFL are going to play the french national anthem before the games this weekend. May I ask why? Respect has been paid by the English national team on Monday, which was the right thing to do and actually meant something. This is something that has nothing to do with football, let alone Scotland or even Aberdeen?! Pointless. Absolutely pointless.
  3. Really not sure what to make of this game, they're not on the best form, but I can't exactly say we're back on form. Regardless, looking forward to the game, especially since i'll be hungover so it'll be nice to catch it in the flat. Massively important to build upon our victory against the Arabs as we've not exactly got an easy run up to Christmas so need confidence to be high or at least positively steady. Out Brunch somewhere Flat Flat 2-1 Dons, Logan
  4. It was more in reference to the last time they'd qualified... I acknowledge a superiority of player though.
  5. According to today's EE:
  6. Not denying that. Think Andrew hits it on the head. The number of teams has increased, even WALES, fucking Wales?!? qualified. It's an even bigger embarrassment by the high standards of embarrassment that they have set themselves. Here's to 10 in a row...
  7. Usually I'd agree but given that all the other home nations have qualified, it makes it all the more embarrassing.
  8. It's embarrassing not being on that list.

    Celeb Deaths

Jonah lomu died today, big time sad news! What a player he was and only aged 40
  11. Tims up courtesy of a very dodgy penalty...hmm... All very familiar. Someone even breaking the silence. Good game though.
  12. Ha! Decent game so far. End to end, good effort from the ref to try and set up a Bosnian attack.
  13. Good luck to Bosnia tonight
  14. Bit of a tangent, but linked in that he has been included on a few benches, apparently this video has been going viral. A spoof of the latest John Lewis advert created by Stand-Free.com https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/aberdeen-fc/dons-hero-hewitt-stunned-as-spoof-john-lewis-advert-goes-viral/
  15. Cracker of a finish from Priskin! Place went absolutely berserk! Hadn't realised they hadn't qualified for a tournament since '86.
  16. I was actually talking to one of my mates who's a York City fan, and warned him about his shitness. Evidently I haven't been proved wrong!
  17. It's been a brutal weekend, both weather-wise and lack of football. At least we didn't have Scotland embarrassing us or Strachan bamboozling us with ridiculous squad selection. Or even, seeing magoos face. For the last point alone I am grateful for.

Fucksake, what depressing news. Went to bed knowing something had happened, but that is mental. Comment from a mate of mine that lives in the US " hope this is enough evidence for the liberals to stop pussy footing around gun laws"....words fail me.
  20. It's been a long day and makes a change for someone else to make a typo
  21. Good spot Bobby!
  22. Don't tell the huns that...
  23. Plastic Whistle latest club to go debt free, albeit thanks to a new share scheme. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34811736 Just a shame they seem to be so poorly supported. Never minded the jags.
  24. First time I've ever thought that he knows somewhat of what he speaks. A lot of valid points and the comparison to brezhnev was a hilarious but good one to make. Not had the chance to see much news lately, so want to read more about the Portugal situation. Sounds completely ridiculous that a democratically elected party can be denied their right. Yes I wholeheartedly disagreed with the tories being elected, not my fault there were a lot of idiots, but that's democracy.
  25. A couple of PortaKabins, eh EdinburghDon
