  1. Sounded like a deserved draw in the end, two dodgy penalties apparently. Gollum at his shitey finest
  2. 1-0 down at the moment. Sounds like a messy and very wet affair.
  3. According to the club 16k tickets were sold before Christmas eve, hopefully a good crowd and 3 points will do

    Xmas.

    Merry Christmas donstalkers!
  5. One of my mates is a journalist and I asked him about this a few years back. Essentially Christmas and summer school holidays are silly season for journalists and hence why news stories like the above make it to national news. Slow news days. However, I don't disagree with your point though, numbing the masses.
  6. Wow....no bandy legs or those that BigAl said, ridiculous. Suppose it is a weegie paper...
  7. Section Y, merkland and RDS upper tickets only remain
  8. From today's retard, pretty much says what both TD and DM have been saying since they arrived, no new arrivals unless necessary. However, I would expect both Mclaughlin and Parker to disappear into obscurity since they've been non existent over the past few weeks. It seems like they'll be two we'll replace rather get youth in.
  9. Fergahun above mcghee? Jesus wept. The only right thing a out that list is that they've placed two cunts together. McGhee and macnamara. Intrigued to see the top 10...
  10. I'm not an arsenal fan but I never understand the criticism levelled at Wenger. He's been building for a couple of years now and whilst I think there were times he probably should have invested, he's gradually started doing so. The stadium has been paid off (I think?) and there is now money available. He started with Giroud, Callum Chambers, then jumped up to Ozil and Sanchez. Cech was a master stroke, i'm still amazed Chelsea let him go to a rival, on a free. Don't get me wrong, i've laughed long and hard at Arsenal fans for all their talk they always failed to win a trophy after those halcyon days. But they're now in a better position than most of the bigger clubs. I will give you his lack of ruthlessness though, seems a soft touch, but I wouldn't say he isn't a winner because of it. He know's how to win but until now I don't think he's allowed himself the resources to do so for one reason or another.
  11. Looks like the club are predicting a crowd of about 16k, I'd hope for a few more to be honest! I'm sure we used to get about 18K for the same fixture did we not?
  12. Fair enough, I think much of what he did was missed and what he didn't do (nor was it his job description imo) was highlighted, incorrectly.
  13. I think that's a bit harsh. Ozil has had a brilliant season so far and I think he's definitely won over those doubters (there are many within a fickle Arsenal support). I've always enjoyed watching him and I never really understood why Mourinho marginalised him until he did the same to Mata at Chelsea. The problem is, these players aren't exactly his type of player but I think Wenger has changed this somewhat this season. I've seen Ozil track back, not necessarily make tackles but certainly puts himself about. He is also now on 16 assists, and considering it's only half way through the season, he's only going to add to that bar any serious injuries. He's had to dig deep a number of times and generally if he plays badly, the whole of the team appears to. A thoroughly enjoyable player to watch and Arsenal are very lucky to have him. One of the few World Class footballers in the premier league. I just hope Leicester can keep their squad together and fit. It's shaping up to be quite an interesting season with all the other bigger teams toiling. Watford, Palace, Everton, Leicester and to a degree Spurs are all adding to the entertainment.

    Travel Chaos

I see it's due to re-open on Wednesday for all traffic except for HGVs. Probably just in time to help a few of the holiday travellers.
  15. A local Dons supporting film company has requested our help to try and secure/retain funding to cover Sport in Aberdeen. There is currently a competition running where they may lose to other companies out with the North East. https://www.facebook.com/SportAberdeen/videos/1168329126528601/?__mref=message_bubble Please vote option B if it takes your fancy!
  16. Absolutely, even when it was a bit of a mess, the skill levels involved were very high. Two brilliant goals and another two assists from özil, who is an.absolute gem to the premier league. Quiet, unassuming but an assassin. Mangala is not a footballer though.
  17. Excellent words from McGinn in his post match interview with AFC. This to me is everything I want to hear from a player as a fan. Keep up the great work McGinn and then hopefully after a successful season with us you'll have a summer you'll never forget ahead of you with NI Full interview here: http://www.afc.co.uk/news/7189.php#.VngjbRF6HzJ
  18. Main Stand and Lower RDS sold out so far. Hopefully we manage to get a full house as the team and management team have turned things around. The game at Killie on the weekend was a great statement of intent. They didn't settle for a 2-0 win which I think we've all criticised them of previously. They went for it. Caley haven't been on great form themselves recently so hopefully we can capitalise on this and continue our resurgence. A win will take us top of the table (hopefully for more than 24 hours) with Hearts playing Septic at the cowshed the following day. Results vary quite a bit between ourselves, with no one team dominating either fixture, although we were victors the last time they visited Pittodrie. I'd again look to start the same team as last weekend with Jack coming on. I don't think he's played well enough to deserve a starting place back yet. If he does I don't think Flood should play as they don't really play well together. In/Out: Out Prematcher: Family home Match: Heathrow Postmatcher: en-route to Kiwi land Prediction: 2-1 Dons, McGinn, Rooney
  19. Just read this one fez book this afternoon. Have to say i'm disappointed that they've sold out to a mainstream company. I don't really drink meantime anymore either. http://www.theguardian.com/business/2015/dec/21/camden-town-brewery-sold-inbev-worlds-biggest-drinks-company
  20. Well, the two cunts got 8 years each. Hopefully that means blatter will be dead by the end of it and platini won't ever be taken seriously in the football world again. Just hope the FBI swoop in and take them to face trial. Now that would be a nice Christmas present.
  21. Quite enjoyed it today, agreed with most of the winners for a change. There was no-one more deserving than Andy Murray this year. Tremendous, hopefully his form continues into next year.
  22. I agree, can see it happening and it would be a massive shame. Highlights are out:
  23. Unsurprisingly guardiola confirms he's leaving bayern at the end of the season with ancelotti taking over. Wonder which Manchester club he'll end up at.
  24. Watched the goals on red tv, all were very well worked goals, my.favourite was probably McGinns cross for Rooney. Ooft! Glad your first live game was a good one! Id really like to see Smith get some more game time.
  25. Very pleased by this, been a long time coming this season! Perfect day results wise
