Personally, I think he's found his level at County. I don't want him back for a number of reasons but the main and most important one (I feel anyway) is that he is in the past. He was part of the problem, part of the mediocrity years/decades. We've managed to purge the club pretty much entirely from the bad ju ju that existed, including the managers. This team don't need the fans on their back like they would be if he were to rejoin.
I'd like to think the same. We don't need to sell to them ( from a financial perspective ) and why take the step down? The real Championship is where he'll go if anywhere.
Your post put a lot of fear into my though Bobby! Fozzy back at Pittodrie? Fuck that. I enjoy booing him too much.
Could see Logan going to Bolton or Rotherham. Although both are relatively cash strapped at the moment.
I think that's a bit harsh on McGinn / McLean / Hayes / Flood who I thought all had exceptional games. It was all an enjoyable watch though.
The Left Back position is an interesting one as it has knock on effects elsewhere in the team. There are times, like yesterday when Considine is a perfectly competent left back, but then there are also games where I wouldn't trust him anything. Generally against Celtic. For the first time in yonks we have an awesome left back in Shinnie, yet I thought he was incredibly effective in midfield yesterday. I like the option of being able to push him into midfield later on in the game, as WR says to change the game. I still think our bench is too lightweight to really change a game.
Flood at Right Back? Not sure, I think he loses the ball too much despite his terrier like tendencies.
I'm with you on that one Bb, saw a few amusing sarcastic posts on twitter saying he was undoing all of pulis' good work and making them attractive to watch. Always Thought Hughes was harshly done by at city and glad that things seem to working out for him (finally).
As I said in the match thread, found it incredibly cringeworthy hearing th DG song being belted out. Personally, I'm fine with songs that lambast other teams but obviously prefer songs which are about us. Problem I've always found is that our song sheet has been somewhat limited
Christ, our first clean sheet at dens Park since 2000! Brilliant performance and very enjoyable game watch. Everyone played well, harried Dundee so they couldnt relax and get going. Basically picked up from where they left off against county. Excellent start to Saturday!
Shame about Quinn and I hope you're right about Taylor. Dundee are one of those teams that will punish us for any stupidity at the back. Can see it being a draw today, here's hoping I'm wrong and we get all three points!
Good to hear, it's been fair blowing a gale down here overnight.
I know I said I don't want to change a winning side, and I still don't, but reckon we'll line up with this:
Ward
Logan
Quinn
Reynolds
Shinnie
Jack
Flood
McGinn
Mclean
Hayes
Rooney
Contact the rob roys on Facebook Andrew, the rob Roy is a Scottish pub (used to be a dons) but no more. I'll be watching it in my flat as you always struggle with English games
Aye, I'm sure I've seen a graphic somewhere that showed war related company shares had nearly doubled in value since the MP's decision. Good en, pricks.
I see Germany has now joined in a non combat role. Their biggest current external operation. In my opinion, they are doing things correctly, training up the Kurds. These are the people that we need to be fighting the battles, we should also be sending in UN troops all along the Turkish border to stop the double crossing Turks from firing at them. I'd suggest a DMZ needs to be set up to ensure it's adhered to, obviously the Turks won't be happy but I don't trust Erdogan as far as I could throw him as the border needs to be way less permeable. None of this requires air strikes until ISIS are out from cover and fighting a battle. Then it's logical, but right now, the air strikes are a pointless exercise. We need ISIS to be above ground, not below, otherwise this stalemate will last for decades.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink takes over at QPR. Shame really, would like to have seen him stick it out with Burton until the end of the season to see if they could get back to back promotions. I also don't like QPR.
