  1. I know you didn't, I was expanding it
  2. Spot on. I also wouldn't want to be anywhere near the Euro, anyone that thinks it is a viable currency needs their head looked at. Truly awful and I don't know of anyone that is happy with it.
  3. Absolutely this. We were a complete laughing stock in the way we approached business prior to his involvement, don't see how anyone can give DM credit for that. We are run incredibly well nowadays, no more of this third party shite for the club shop etc. He does a lot of excellent work behind the scenes that clearly some do not recognise. To blame him for the flood light failure is laughable and frankly, embarrassing. The club is better for having Yule on board than not.
  4. Glad to see he got his first ROI start last night. Shame it ended in defeat, but good to see an international manager rewarding someone for their form. Hopefully it's the first of many for him
  5. It's almost like the camera knows how evil she is, every photograph taken of her, she looks like she's been photographed in black and white, despite everyone else being in colour.
  6. You mean Bebo isn't a reason enough!?!?
  7. Fair enough, Vegas is alright for Casino's We went to Fremont Street too, quite enjoyed that place, pretty wild!
  8. Make sure you hit a pool party in Vegas
  9. Can't say it was the best read, seemed very condescending. I guess it would probably be quite helpful for everyone if they released how they came to that conclusion. If only to put it to bed. I don't believe for one second that they haven't thoroughly carried this out but it needs to be done to get everyone behind the new proposals.
  10. Really? That would be disappointing although they do have an outside chance of a play-off place. Bebo plays there still doesn't he?

    Veganism

Cheers guys. Food for thought, that's for sure. We've (me and my girlfriend) have spoken about reducing the amount of meat we cook and the amount of food wastage. Easier said than done though, probably more out of habit but we're trying. Will check out those recipes! Hand on heart, a previous girlfriend cooked me bolognese once, and I couldn't tell that it was quorn. On its own it doesn't appeal to me at all but I was impressed that the texture was the same as mince meat. I do have it with chili sometimes.
  12. You certainly know what you like. Fair play to you
  13. She's absolutely off her rocker, but I wouldn't expect a tory infidel to know or say any different anyway.
  14. We can but hope. Nips, I can't moan about yesterday as I didn't watch it and I don't regret it either. I think we all know that team can play better than it has been allowed to or shown due to the arrogance and idiocy of the two men in charge. It is for this reason why I cannot be happy we won last night as it prolongs this misery and stagnation. I have no issues with the amount of tims in the team because by and large, they are the best players in those positions. I do, however, have issues of other players being picked because of their loyalty to him rather than ability. It really annoyed me watching football focus the other day and Andy Cole pedalled the line "look at what he has to work with" and "it's not his fault". That of course was a token statement but he picks the shite that get's put out there. Fuck him and his ogre friend. The sooner they're gone, the better.
  15. I said the exact same thing to ED last week That, or an Edinburgh Tram system
  16. I think a victory was the worst possible result. I'm sorry nips but until those cunts are removed I won't wish any good will on the team. This just prolongs our misery their charade. Obviously TD has had a positive impact on those clueless gimps.
  17. DM joined us four years back today. What a godsend compared to some of the dross before him.
  18. I'm guessing TV in all honesty.
  19. Clashes with homeland, I know which one I'd prefer to watch.
  20. Same down here, a bit of a strong arm tactic by councils imo but if funding is being cut left right and centre I suppose we should applaud them. The issue its a client funding the bus company is that it is usually only for say 5 years, then it can be pulled. Likely to happen to a scheme I sat in on a planning committee review for. I think the club should make more of the flexibility of the 3g surfaces we're providing as part of the stadium. Obviously good for not just football, albeit if it is to be used for football the "blades" will be longer, but still, at community level it still provides flexibility for rugby and hockey.
  21. Fir Park seems like an odd location for a final, bit of a pain to get to for more fans I would have thought? Still, folk could easily have factored the traffic in. Shame really, as you say, two reasonable sized teams should have attracted more. I see Holland slipped up against Bulgaria last night, with their 17 year old Mattijs de Ligt making his debut (youngest player since the 1930's). The Dutch press were all over him in the build up this week. Seems like he had a bit of a horror show. Holland just cannot get it right at the mo, seem to have caught a bit of Englanditis where ego's overpower actual ambition and team unity.
  22. What time is kick off?

    Veganism

Not something that ive personally, but I can certainly see some positives surrounding it. We as a society eat far too much meat and with the developing nations such as China and India eating more meat, it's becoming increasingly apparent that something has to give. I know there are various levels of veganism, has anyone on here tried it? I recall Rico saying he very rarely has meat but has anyone gone the whole hog? Sometimes I think it may suffer from the image of hippies and quite often I find vegans yelling that x,y,Z is wrong and we should stop murdering animals etc. The old adage of how do you know someone is vegan? They tell you, is more often true than not. Does anyone use any of the meat substitutes on a regular basis? I like my tofu but don't really like it in anything other than Japanese food. I guess I'd miss eggs too much, let alone meat but willing to give anything. Any recipes more than welcome
  24. Pretty much my thoughts as well. I don't think the council can afford to reject it but will use it to their advantage to appease all sides. I can see some serious changes to the traffic strategy and probably a bit of a widening on the sports available. I accept budget is an issue but I think we've missed a trick with not having an indoor facility. Tom, are section 106's part of planning in Scotland? I presume there I'd something of the equivalent to it. I know plenty of schemes where the council use it to get something they want out of the scheme, I.e. A guaranteed bus route at the cost of the applicant. Obviously this is expensive but would be one way for the club to argue that bus provision is met
