Felt like that first try was never gonna come. Visser was unlucky not long before we scored.
  6. Justice was done after that horribly late tackle. Goal came just after that didn't it? He's having a blinder BTW. Great game
  7. Yasssssssss Logan! Excellent well worked goal
  8. Hearts are fucking horrible team
  9. We've started well enough, that final ball is lacking. Couple of decent balls in with no one on the end of it.
  10. Thats not my point. We've submitted a planning app, wed have to start the whole process again. Complete waste of money.

Hopefully the guys can go out and get the win they thoroughly deserve after a decent campaign. Stretched by injuries this tournament which I think has severely hampered the team but they've shown passion and resilience. Far more than what could be said for the football equivalent. Absolutely gutted to see Cotter go, so hopefully they get the win for him too. He's instilled confidence back in the team and hopefully Townsend can build on this and continue the good works he's done at Glasgow. Thanks Vern!
  12. That's probably one of the nicest offers to mostly strangers I've seen! Kudos to you Three Crazz
  13. My knowledge of Aberdeen isn't great and i'd definitely say that in terms of location, it isn't ideal. I'd rather be able to walk all the way (within reason) from the train station. I guess the main issue is scotlands lack of infrastructure as if there was a railway station nearby, it would be a perfectly acceptable location to all. The club do need to work on their transportation plan but given it is located to big roads, should be seen as a massive benefit. Something can be worked out and it may take bus services to commit but theres a solution there. However, it is now getting to the point where we need new facilities, redeveloping Pittodrie isn't a viable option as much as I'm sure we'd all prefer it to be. This project is bigger than the stadium and I think folk need to keep that in mind. To provide everything that the club want to provide in the stadium alone would have a serious impact on the footprint. Then there's all the outdoor training facilities, we really can't afford to have a delay in the delivery of these, it's thoroughly embarrassing and a necessity for the future of our club. I can't recall but I'm guessing the Links site was ruled out for cost of purchase and loss of public land? I'd imagine Kingsford has been chosen due to these factors. Edit: Slim just said it.
  14. So last game before the borefest of the international week. Can we keep the current home winning run going? Don't see why not, although Hearts are an odd team, don't seem to be consistent in their results at all. We should have enough to win this game, but I guess Hearts like most teams come in and sit. Consi returns to the squad so I think it's only Reynolds that isn't available? Out Home Pub Pub? 2-0 Dons, Rooney and Consi
  15. Brilliant venue. But I agree, hopefully (although I don't expect it to) will have that effect.
  16. Very glad you did, Malaga. A welcomed view
  17. Legally speaking no it doesn't, however as a consultee it will have some bearing on what they think. Hopefully the city council aren't so daft (I don't in believe it when i'm writing it). They will make their decision in June.
  18. and....they object. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-39290459
  19. Who do you see / want to see coming in over the summer? Peepaw and Alexander have been confirmed as both leaving https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/aberdeen-fc/aberdeen-goalkeeper-neil-alexander-set-leave-dons/ Does this mean Rogers will actually be at the club? Can't say i'm surprised and he is pretty old now anyway. McGinn and Jack are still unknown but there appears to be a few making moves now which is not something we've seen for a while. Personally, i'd like to see us get another left back now that Shinnie appears to be played in mid pretty much all the time. Consi and O'Connor to be choice pairing with a new CB coming in to provide cover. I'd say then we need another winger (should McGinn leave) and another CM if Jack leaves. There is also the striker problem in which we are still reliant on Rooney, even if he is misfiring or short of form, he's still our leading scorer by some distance.
  20. Thank fuck Holland voted the right way last night. VVD are increasingly right wing, probably had to be to ensure they didn't lose votes to the PVV (arsehole party). I was genuinely concerned but it is further evidence of how the media / polls know fuck all about what's going to happen. Some decent parties got reasonable figures so hopefully the coalition negotiations are too protracted. Geert Wilders. Fuck me. What an arsehole. At least the Dutch aren't daft like the English despite actually probably having more a legitimate border concern. Don't get me wrong, the Dutch aren't liberal like their tourist office says and the results prove it, but i'm satisfied with this.
  21. According to the BBC the shire are due to deliver their verdict on the stadium today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-39290459
  22. City papped out by Monaco. First time pep gaurdiola has gone out at the last 16. I've always wondered, where the hell do Monaco get their hardcore fans from?
  23. Consi and Reynolds aren't good enough but they're better than that shite so by default should be in. Anyway, good on the other trio, not sure if Rooney deserves it but the other two certainly do.
  24. Genuine question, as I don't know, but what makes you think they would? What have the Scottish government done to try and help Aberdeen in this time of crisis? I've always been of the opinion that the Scottish government has been central belt centric and I wouldn't expect that to change. The infrastructure north of it is woeful at best. I would have thought any scottish government would have the power to control this sort of thing? As I said, not attacking more enquiring.
