  1. It's absolutely mental the type of season Leicester are having. Hard to see how it's going to change. They definitely have it in them as they've shown it in the chumps league but it just isn't connecting domestically. As I said in the other thread, really enjoyed the imps game, proper cup football and football justice was done too. Surely the fa will retrospectively ban Barton and possibly that scouse scumbag for pushing the Lincoln player. We'll done Millwall too. Nice to see the cup alive and well despite what everyone says and managers appearing play second string sides. Good crowd at the den too, need all the help they can get to fight off this cpo. Still hasn't been knocked into touch.

    Films

Agreed, not a film I've seen in probably about 13 years, very good film though.
  3. Ending the night on kahlua, something I've always had many a time in cocktails but never on its own. Quite tasty.
  4. I'd agree but let them struggle for a wee bit yet. We're not that far clear of them all just yet.
  5. Chris Maguire scores for Oxford united against Boro to make it 2-1, and Oxford have just gone and equalised! Maguire also set up the equaliser.
  6. Noticed that, Celtic going easy on Motherwell? That'll give McGoo some more time a the helm Josh Walker scored for Edinburgh City, some difference to 8 years ago
  7. Chuffed for them, they thoroughly deserved that. Barton was embarrassing. That is cup football at it's finest. first non league team to reach the 1/4 finals in modern day football, 1914 the last time
  8. Been a proper cup tie!
  9. Went out walking around the surrey hills yesterday, cracking day for it. Probably should have done a bit more research on routes there from Dorking (lovely market town btw) but had assumed that once you get to the station routes would be sign posted, but no. Managed to find our own way there but the route to the station that we eventually left from wasnt great. Along roads as all the public footpaths seem to go perpendicular to the way we needed to go. Forgot to take any pictures, but it wasn't too dissimilar to this: Cracking view from the tower, not too busy despite it being half term. Had lunch at this pub which I think has had a refurb recently as it wasn't what had been described to me. Really good food but more of a restaurant than a pub. think the only way they can call it a pub is that its home to the Leith Hill Brewery (nice ale btw).
  10. Lincoln City giving a good account of themselves and Barton showing himself to be a cunt. Hopefully Lincoln get a victory today Oh wow, refs made a complete cunt of it. Flanaghan should have been sent off for shoving one of the imps, barton probably too.
  11. First bike ride since I moved house (cycling to work will take 1.5 hours) - fuck me was that hard work. A couple of loops of Richmond Park, and nearly got ran off the road by some daft mother in her 4x4 who had the audacity to ask if I had a death wish. ED, will be pishing himself, but I was absolutely in the right. She was in front, veering towards the kerb, so I signalled that I would be going on the right, she then veers that way, so I pull left, and she pulls left again. Oh and the road was at least a car and 1/2's width so it wasn't like there was no space. Apart from that, a nice fine day and good to blow the cobwebs away!
  12. Absolutely, what I didn't get was BTMin Aberdeen saying we should be wanting to beat him more rather than mcgoo. Wrong imo, I want to beat both those cunts, and that is what both of them are. Didnt he get a draw the last time he took charge temporarily or am I making that up? Anyway, I hope to be saying GIRFUY to my killie mate at 5pm tomorrow.
  13. Thanks for sorting redz, was away to do that this morning. I can understand your fear, but we have a good team. Play to our strengths like we did midweek and we'll be fine. I presume it'll be a relatively straight swap for Christie / Shinnie. Interesting to see if he does that though as we did seem to pose a real threat against Motherwell.
  14. See I heard another school of thought the other day that we as humans were natural foragers, eating when we were hungry. But during those moments you eat a little rather than a lot, more snacking less bulk eating. Not sure I'm convinced by it nd.certainly not something I subscribe to. I do try to reduce the amount of carbs, easier said than done though.
  15. Good on you! It's been a while since I've had a dry spell. On the Asahi, finishing the last few bottles off
  16. Watching the Russian hooligans programme which was on BBC 2 earlier this week. Fuck me. These guys are animals. I found it funny folk shut the English up but jesus, these guys don't and won't stop at anything. Thank fuck Scotland are shite, someone (probably England, Poland or germany) are in for an absolute battering despite the government's attempts to shut down the problem. Also started watching roots last night. Incredible viewing, I'd like to say I enjoyed it but I didn't, but will keep watching. Little wonder why the world hates white folk.
  17. Nice bit of rump for dinner tonight, sautéed mushrooms, steamed veg. No potatoes tonight as had chips for lunch so no need.
  18. I see Christies goal has been nominated by a Brazilian sports paper for the puskas award. Rightly so imo. Sublime finish.
  19. Whilst I agree with you to an extent, trump contradicts all these theories all the times by being the moronic orange buffoon he is on twitter. I had hope for him when he said that Israel needed to stop illegally building settlements, he then meets Hitler 2.0 and it's all this "not looking for a two state solution" nonsense. But yet, if Israel and Palestine are happy he's happy? Nonsense. Utter nonsense. I find it quite interesting that homeland hs digs at this very subject at the moment. Good on them.

    WYOWYN

Absolutely this, not sure what it is, probably the eyes
  21. Holy shit, really? Not surprising and absolutely the right thing to do buy surprised he's decided it was time
  22. Commentators thought the same about the consi free kick and card, seemed shocked. Need to watch the full highlights yet Not sure what Lewis was doing for the first but given how awesome he's been, I'll definitely allow it.
  23. I believe its part of the city but it's not in the city centre and isn't exactly surrounded by housing or streets. In response to your earlier post, I don't necessarily disagree with what they're trying to say, I think it's more who is and how they're saying it. There are things which shouldn't have a say on whether it does or doesn't go ahead, but should be tagged along as a section 106 ( Tom not sure what the planning codes are in Scotland) and a requirement or condition of the development. I have no issues with people walking alongside a dual carriageway providing there is sufficient and safe space to do so. It's not ideal but not a deal breaker in my eyes. Unless at the loss of cycle space then I know ED would understand my position The club are billing this as a community stadium and they should probably sell it a bit more. I'd imagine theyd class the corporate suites and rooms as being open for community use as the non sporting community use. The comments sound like they're trying to hold the club to ransom with a view to getting in the way of any development. Small mindedness imo. The bit about all 60 busses leaving within 2 minutes cracked me up though, surely this was a typo on the club's part? I'd be intrigued to see where this was though. Presumably The design and access statement or transport assessment?
  24. Jesus, you're right! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/scotland/38988570
  25. Hopefully we'll be able to see the Taylor drive and Hayes' keepy uppy somewhere
