  1. Fingers crossed for a result for the youngsters , hope it’s a good game
  2. Second season of the handmaids tale, epic two episodes so far
  3. Loving the optimism here guys! Can see the huns losing twice, but I can't see one of them being against us.
  4. I read that, thought I’d misread it
  5. Don’t see why not. If they manage to shackle salah, which is obviously no easy task, Liverpool will be done.
  6. Salah is in unreal form this season. Doubt Liverpool would have got through that last night had he not been in the team. I reckon Roma will do the business in Rome. Liverpool’s form away from home to decent teams isn’t very good.
  7. The sheer arrogance of those cunts is ridiculous. They really don’t see that the rest of the country is laughing at them
  8. Have a works leaving do on Friday night here so may put an end to my good intentions to watch this one on sat morning. Although given the effort i've made for the last two games (prior to the victory at Killie), maybe it's a good thing I miss it. Can't see us getting a victory here, but I don't see us losing either. Hopefully there'll be a good crowd for it, Pittodrie likes a game under the lights! Out Bed Probably bed Cinema since it's meant to pish it down all day 1-1, McGinn
  9. Well, we're not actually. The league would tell you that the hunco are.
  10. You do actually
  11. Interesting points and without trying to go too far off topic, I think having the two teams has ensured a higher concentration of talent. It didn’t used to work having lots of teams but maybe that’s gradually changing. Not had to design the training facilities before but I’d be surprised if they installed the grassmaster on the grass pitch (due to cost) I’d expect a lesser grade but one with decent drainage anyway. If we didn’t install it in the stadium though, that would be sheer lunacy.
  12. Just finished reading that, a very interesting one at that. I doubt we’ll ever seen someone that far out of the box from McInnes though. It’s not his form. Made a lot of points that we’ve been utterly frustrated by for the past two if not more seasons. Nice to read it being written by a non dons fan.
  13. Desso grassmaster is the standard pitch any new stadium has (in the pro leagues). Is this what Hearts are installing over the summer? As a separate point, not sure Scotland is big enough for 3 pro rugby teams, but we should definitely be looking to encourage more games up there.
  14. Not the first time i've heard that in recent weeks
  15. Typically the diet huns didn't do us a favour. Huns win 2-1 Things heating up nicely in Serie-A. Napoli have just taken a last minute lead away to Juve, which would bring them within a point of Juve.
  16. Jeezo, you drop a stinker in bed or something? That's quite some turnaround. Sorry to hear it anyway
  17. That's what I thought Was a typical McInnes tactic, backing his player regardless
  18. Still going strong mbt?
  19. They lose tomorrow and they’ll have to do a guard of honour no?
  20. Excellent news to wake up to. Heard Logan had his first decent performance of the season today ! Hopefully this’ll be a crucial win to get their confidence off to a flying start. Need build some form for this run in. How was o’connor Received by the fans today
  21. Ooft, even my 71 is looking optimistic. Doable, but still.
  22. Cheers tom My last comment in this thread is still relevant DD

    Bloody BBC

That’s what I thought had happened. I used to use hola von. However, it does appear to be ok with the onion based browser, haven’t done a full test yet
  24. Hope o’connor Is never seen in a red jersey again. We need positivity and he doesn’t provide it, let him fester in league 2 or the conference. Anyway, COYR, put on a show. You owe it to the fans.
  25. But that's the thing, we view football differently to that of your "sky generation" fan. We love confrontation, atmosphere and don't necessarily care about creature comforts. As you say, The Emirates is impressive, it works very well, it's just that Arsenal fans are shite. They always have been. I'd imagine the cost of going has probably put an end to some of those who used to create an ounce of atmosphere. I have been when it's been rocking, the AC Milan champions league game a few years back, and it was great. But the Emirates represents what the Premier League has become, corporate, sanitised, both literally and figuratively, but great to look at on TV. The experience is very comfortable, there's no having to sit at an angle because the seating is old terracing (see Loftus Road, Jute can probably remember that one) or looking around a column. I personally think Arsenal fans are a big part of the problem. The parallels between our own support and theirs are there for all to see. We could have the best stadium in the world and Aberdeen fans would still be shite at home and moan.
