  1. I see Ross is in talks with Barnsley at the mo, that’ll put an end to him ever succeeding McInnes if he’s successful then.
  2. Haha that didn't last long!
  3. Men’s snowboarding half pipe. What a final. All three would have been worthy winners
  4. Been thinking about this over the past few days. A tough one. I still deem success as silverware and in that respect, we've not done very well. However, given where we were pre- this era, it's hard to argue that it has been relatively successful. We perform on a far more consistent basis, get to finals, play in Europe (sort of). Could we do better? Most certainly. We've won one trophy but we're definitely due another. I suppose I should be grateful that I wasn't really aware of the dons during those early years of my life
  5. \ Most premier league clubs (in new stadiums at least) have these hybrid Grassmaster pitches and have been using them for a while. Certainly not cheap but does help retain the grass growth better. A no brainer imo.
  6. I enjoyed the whole series, but I get what you mean. My fiance only started watching half way through the series (yesterday) and managed to understand enough of it. The final few episodes were epic. Hard sun, i've watched one episode and looking to jump on that next. Looks like it could be a goodie. Is Derry Girls on BBc or elsewhere Mini?
  7. So what’s the consensus on woodman? Is he shaky or is he just playing with a defence that’s all over the shop? He doesn’t look overly confident, although I did see him make a decent stop from McKenna? In the second half which prevented the third.
  8. My bad, I caught the second half, well half watched anyway. Looked awful but clearly the first must have been far better?
  9. Managed to watch some the snowboarding earlier today, great effort. Saw that motd Social media jumped on the fact that the winner was called red Gerard anyway, some insane moves. Sadly the rest of the events on the slopes were called off due to weather. But caught some of the figure skating and watching the long track speed skating. Awesome entertainment
  10. 1500 Motherwell fans at Dundee today Bbc obviously felt bad for Dundee as it seems they had us playing tomorrow
  11. Some excellent football from spurs today, Goons lucky to only concede one. Certainly should have been more had it not been for cech.
  12. Definitely my preferred olympics. Annoyingly due to the time difference I’ve missed most so far. Hoping to catch up tomorrow
  13. Loses his battle with cancer at the ridiculously young age of 36. Obviously nothing to do with AFC but sad news nonetheless. Never quite hit the heights I thought he would as a player, but certainly travelled around. Thoughts with his family.
  14. Will post the link on the fezbook page and see if anyone pipes up Edit: a few likes, but no responses yet, can keep an eye out yourself on the link below: https://www.facebook.com/Donstalk/
  15. Decided to beat you lot to it this week Our old friends from down the road are coming to town on Sunday and it's live on Sky Sports. they're currently not on a great run of form, 5 wins from 10 (including cup) - having beaten Alloa in the last round 2-1. Of the head to heads, we've won 6/10. Not sure what to expect of them tbh be honest. We should be ok and have more than enough to see it through, especially now we have Mcginn back. Don't expect Arnason to be back alongside McKenna either. Don't think AOC had a great game the other week but he didn't have much to do. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-0 Dons, McLean
  16. In fairness, that will likely mean they've stayed up, which is probably their goal anyway.
  17. Didn't know he was only 26 years old Seems like he's been around for ages. As you say, potentially a great signing.
  18. Good read, thanks, Tyrant! Amazed the Maynard question never arose! Nice to see Hull actually did at least offer 7 figures, albeit informally. Shows we've got some backbone, hopefully that's a sign to all that we're no pushovers anymore

    Celeb Deaths

John Mahoney, who played Martin Crane in Frasier, never realised he was actually British
  20. Highly underrated by those in England prior to his spouse move. Sublime footballer, he won’t be at Anfield for long.

Fair play to the yanks, that was a great game! Nice being able to watch it during the day for a change. Well, minimised screen at work of course GIRFUY yankee huns.
  22. Thought arnie was honking against county so wasn’t surprised to see him dropped. Possibly a shame for McKenna, but I doubt he’ll be here beyond the summer. He won’t learn much from AOC. Anyway, great finish from consi for both, but especially the first. Almost Rooney-esqe in terms of being an instinctive finish. Then mcginn with a strong finish for the second. Good cross from christie for the third and consi duly obliged with a simple headed finish. Didn’t look like they really troubled the team today but care I do not. 3 points when the other cunts dropped all their points. Happy days. Bring on the arabs.
  23. To think, if we hadn’t shat the bed just three times this season, we’d be top. Other teams can do it, why can’t we? Incredibly frustrating. Kind of taints their losses really but fuck it, we should enjoy it nonetheless
  24. Correct, the club confirmed it.
  25. Spot on. I think we’ll see the Rooney of old in the second half of the season. Mcginn being the reason for it. Doesn’t stop him from being a limited striker but he’s the best we have and I’m glad we have him.
