  2. How was the game tlg? Rooney spot you?
  3. Watched the game back. Really enjoyable stuff with some really good football being played. We should have been 6 up by half time but that's really being fussy. A few lapses in concentration which I don't think would have happened were we not 3-0 up at the time. Good to see all the youngsters taking their opportunity. Ross being the quieter of them but he didn't do anything wrong. The hunger is there for all to see. Be interesting to see how many start to feature a bit more regularly. Theyre not making dms job easy
  4. only seen the goals so far but good team movement and well taken goals. Hopefully watch the game back later.
  5. Kofi Annan, 80, sad news
  6. Shame, would hope for a bit more given its not on tv
  7. Good read, thanks for posting the link! A lot that I can resonate with. Found it amusing they got Populous to speak given they are exactly what is wrong with Stadium architecture. There are many parallels with arsenal fans and dons fans though. Always told to sit down because you're blocking a view, generally shite at home and love a moan.
  8. Out Bed Bed Bed 2-0 Dons, GMS and Wilson Hoping for a change in the level of performance this week. Not been good enough so far. Been a while since i've seen Wilson play so interested to see how he applies himself with us. Although I did hope we'd have signed a creative midfielder this week.
  9. Steven Gerrard is just being scouse. It comes naturally to them
  10. I'd hope shinnie does the right thing and signs a new contract. I don't think he'll stay but I'd like to think he's seen the comparison between the snake and McLean. One I would happily see permanently crocked, the other left with my wishes. Its making me nervous that he hasn't signed.
  11. Scottish Press will love the two glasgow cheeks making it through
  12. I'd say LA meant a foreigner with no SPL / SPFL experience. We sign very few.
  13. Interesting read. Always wondered why macheda never made it there too.
  14. Absolutely How're they faring now? I know they had serious issues with their new ground did they not? My former pub landlords used to be heavily involved in the early days. Used to get a few of the directors boozing with us. Good times.
  15. Enjoyed the few games I watched. Underrated sport, hockey
  16. Haha apologies lencarl. I did think I'd seen somewhere and used our ever reliable search function for Doncaster. My bad
  17. SPFL international TV rights up for sale again after the company that owned them failed to pay the league (not just us). https://stv.tv/sport/football/1426961-spfl-searching-for-new-tv-deal-after-axeing-mp-silva/ I wonder how fair this deal will be
  18. This is how i'd like to view this transfer. Also, might put a rocket up May's arse.
  19. Welcome aboard "Willo", hope it works out for all involved
  20. Would be an interesting signing if that happened. Although one to get the fans excited? Not sure. He the one who's dad won shed loads for betting on him playing for man utd?

  22. from reading twitter since, seems like the fans are properly divided. Hating on DNA members, hating on songs. WTF has happened to our support?!? Read reports of a punch up in the home end because of certain songs being sung.
  23. As an aside, but it looks like the celebrations for the goal were very muted? Not a single proper bounce. It was almost like we were 4-0 up?
  24. Absolutely, was very impressed with him. he also has a decent delivery on him Someone really should have capitalised on his cross in the first half.
  25. Having watched the game today, a few things stood out. 1) Mikey Devlin is a beast. What a signing he could prove to be 2) Bruce Anderson has to start next week. Appears to have drive and ambition 3) Cosgrove needs to be benched 4) GMS continued his good start to the season - granted he started off slowly in this game but definitely grew into it 5) just under 3,000 dandies. Excellent support as per I wouldn't say the defence looked very good (Devlin and probably consie aside) as I think Dundee asked a few questions of us but fortunately weren't able to actually capitalise on them. I'll put that down to us not having our proper team out. McGinn looked decent in the first then terrible in the second, although did put in a couple of decent balls that with a bit of luck, someone could have made the most of. Their no3 had him absolutely sorted the whole time he was on the pitch. May, I thought he didn't play too badly tbh. He's trying and was unlucky with his turn and shot in the first half. He also put it on a plate for Cosgrove who just shot tamely. I've yet to see him hit a shot with any sort of power? That should have been 1-0 imo. Still undecided if it will work out for May at Pittodrie. I still think, as everyone else has said, we really need some creativity through the middle and another striker. I'd like Anderson to keep getting his chance but I would like a proven goalscorer in the team as well. Anderson offers something different. But it would be unfair to rely completely on him.
