Of course he was nervous, hadn't played for around 6 weeks then suddenly expected to slot into the defence in our biggest game of the season!! And he must know the fans have no time for him, he was always gonna get crucified. Rightly so after the first goal debacle. Anyway imo it was criminal of McInnes not to try out players before the semi when he knew for 4 weeks that he had to come up with some way of compensating the guys that we're gonna be missing. We may as well have played with no right back!! Our biggest game of the season and once again we leave Hampden raging at an absolutely dire performance. McInnes now admitting we have no depth of squad ffs that's been obvious since August

Also when the "computer" first generated the fixtures how come they ended up playing everyone at Ibrox twice - the only surprise in the Top 6 is Killie so this was always gonna be an issue!!

I don't follow english football in the slightest (apart from a yearly trip to League 2 Morecambe) so I really don't have a clue if he would be in the running or one of the favs or not get a look in however the best way for him to get noticed is for dons to finish 2nd and appear in the scottish cup final with hopefully a win and that's what he should be concentrating on

My first game since Celtic in December - I really need to start going to Pittodrie more often as at least we seem to play some decent football at home. Shambles really - very poor in possession throughout the game, some of the passes to a red shirt were abysmal. Tbh when you look at both midfield line ups we were always gonna struggle but very disappointing nonetheless to witness such an abject lacklustre display from so many of the players. No chance we were ever getting back into game once Hibs scored. Someone mentioned that we have been flattering to deceive and I totally agree. The issues we have in midfield and defence are starting to haunt us. Not sure how I felt about the young lad - he did look a bit like a headless chicken at times but then so did half his team mates Celtic next week will be murder with that line up but thankfully Shinnie is back for Killie.

Just finished The Comet Seekers by Helen Sedgwick - it was very good and now reading How to Stop Time by Matt Haig - both actually involve history & romance so dunno why I read them back to back

Em I dunno if I liked it or not tbh. Bit like a documentary with not much of a story ( which I kind of think was the point) wee girl was excellent and story is actually v sad so I can see why it's been hyped up but maybe not my fav Molly's Game is excellent
