I'm going to break from my gut feeling here and say that if, as was the case with Young, we add Duff as a squad player for very little financial outlay and he puts his heart into the club then I'm willing to give him the chance to prove himself. I know he is widely regarded as being horse but I haven't seen much of him first hand and I do remember him being rated before he went to UTD. I also remember UTD having an unswaying ability to sour players with the atmosphere that surrounded the club when McCall and Brewster were there. Is it possible the boys confidence is shot from his years there ? I may be clutching at straws but I'm trying very hard to keep an open mind.

I hate these situations. UTD ask us to do something we should, by rights, say no to, so we do. They then get the hump and are so fucked off that they come out and play like men possessed to teach us a lesson about something that was unreasonable for them to ask in the first place.

Awful display. There was one point where Moutinho was turning him inside out, again, and Zander just steamed in and took the ball away from his feet. It was almost as if Zander was saying 'if you aren't going to bother then I will sort this out'. It was an embarrassment to watch Moutinho yesterday, he was given so much space to play.
