  1. but if its 5pm we won't need a bus as trains coming back would be OK I think ?
  2. Awesome. I had a feeling that would be the tie. Its all set up for a great night at Pittodrie and a healthy pay day. Hope its not a 5pm kick off
  3. Keep your hair on dude. BBC online ? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/aberdeen/fixtures/default.stm That'll be 19:45
  4. You are just pissed that the Globes will be filling another 50 seater luxury coach from the civilised quarter of the central belt while you lot head up in you're fucking Beverly Hillbillies jalopy like a bunch of weegie tinks on a weekend trip to Butlins. When we go to Pittodrie, we go in style and in numbers.
  5. I'm getting so pumped up for this game now. Can't wait to get on that bus up north in 5 and a half hours
  6. I'm going thermal big time tonight. Thick socks a must after frozen feet for the Loco game. Want a loan of a pair ? I might even be able to find a clean pair
  7. Dream thread We are defo on five live, heard it again this morning. The nation will ride the rollercoaster with us ......only thing is, they will be warm
  8. Heard last night on five live they will be covering the Dons game tonight rather the the Everton game as they are through. Has there ever been an Aberdeen commentary on five live before ?
  9. Still always fancy Seve in the side despite his form but if its the only way Touzani gets a game in holding midfield role then he has to sit it out. In my opinion, he has been a class act in the european set up and can't afford to be overlooked.
  10. Mizer had one for the Loco game and it felt goooooooooood
  11. Do you think I'd get a few tinnies into the Broadhill ? Can't be arsed trying to get served but will be hanging on a beer after the trip up. Might try a cheeky festive carryoot smuggle going by the temperature outside today a hip flask is a must for the game too
  12. That has been the problem. Too much doing that with 2litre 'wee' bottles. Its all Chimps fault.
  13. Who was moaning ? I'm perfectly at ease with a dry bus. However, I'm not sure the driver is going to be happy with me kicking your cunt in on the bus
  14. But they are expecting to be without Gronkjaer and Hangeland so they are missing two top players. Just need to snap Allback in the first 5 and we are sorted
  15. Severin, severin, speak so slightly Severin, down on your bended knee Taste the whip, in love not given lightly Taste the whip, now plead for me Get the fucking job done Seve for fuck sake, time to be a hero
  16. He's not a patch on the player he was.
  17. They will also be guaranteed the full support of the Gretna fans. Who wants to watch another 1-1 draw anyway.
  18. When do the BIG FUCKING MARKER PENS go on sale ?
  19. Maybe they all still have wee sore tummys after Egypt
  20. Its all I ask. Have a right good go at it. If we lose out to a better side then we will have learned something.
  21. There is a point where Miller receives the ball on about his own 30-40 yard line. Before he has even controlled the ball he is storming through the centre circle like a man possessed. Ends up in the left edge of the box trying to put in a cross ball. Brilliant stuff. You sensed that failing to win that tie was not an option, if we could see that mentality on Thursday, I would settle for that, regardless of the result.
  22. Although there is obviously no denying the difference in skill from that squad to this I don't think the gulf is as big as people suggest. The real difference is in attitude. That Aberdeen side had a good number of superb players but it also had some journeymen like Dougie Bell. They were world beaters because their collective and singular attitudes were exemplary. The key thing that Ferguson did for Aberdeen was to not only make them all believe they could do anything but that they had the right to expect it. He would never tolerate anyone getting outside of their ego but was a genuis at maximising the individuals contribution to a team effort. Huge difference from what we see nowadays.
