Winning ugly has been a hallmark of recent seasons. Usually involve late Lovell goals too so nice to see them both making a re-appearance this season. Sometimes you just have to wade through shit to get to where you want to be. Hearts and Hibs are imploding so if our only competition for 3rd is Motherwell and UTD then I think we will be OK regardless of how we perform. Another tough game on Wednesday though, 3 points will be very useful.

We really need to be taking these opportunities to bag 3 points as we will be hitting a tough period in mid-jan again where points are hard to come by. Even Hearts will no doubt be on one of their uptimes when we meet them. We can ill afford to be switching off over christmas when we are playing bottom 6 sides. Yesterday was a waste of 2 points, especially when we were 1-0 up with minutes to go.

Its a duplicitous situation for me. The actual act of running onto a football pitch is a harmless piece of over-exuberance which, 99% of the time, is brought on by an emotional reaction to something sensational occurring. Its certainly an over reaction to be suggesting anyone who does this is a moron who should be locked up or banned from every ground in the country etc etc etc. However, the fact is that in todays footballing climate this action is frowned upon, whether we like it or not. With all the over-sensitivity that surrounds us then anyone deciding to break these rules has to expect this sort of reaction. Worst part is that it does reflect badly on the club, good part is it gives you something to laugh about and cheer at. Toot toot.

Still always fancy Seve in the side despite his form but if its the only way Touzani gets a game in holding midfield role then he has to sit it out. In my opinion, he has been a class act in the european set up and can't afford to be overlooked.
