    Celeb Deaths

Busy night for us celeb deathers tonight. Nat Lofthouse and Susannah York, RIP in peace. You could cut the atmosphere in here with a knife. Fantastic.
  3. It's true that the McGhee experiment went horribly wrong, but you have to say the players don't exactly come out of this covered in glory. Effort should be the minimum requirement, and it should be delivered wholeheartedly for the benefit of the paying public - regardless of what they thought about the old Boss.
  4. McGhee had way more problems than that. Four points from 14 games being his biggest one.

    Celeb Deaths

    Gerry Rafferty RIP in peace.
  6. I don't get it.
  7. That 'Tevez' fella was warming the City bench today, worth a look?
  8. Mate you want to watch your spelling on here because the regular users sometimes pick up on mistakes and spoil threads by using puns in every reply. I think you got away with it this time though.
  9. Anybody out with a calf injury? (can't be arsed checking back to see if that one's been done)
  10. Hamilton are hardly a top-side, our players will get a roasting if we lose.
  11. Very sloppy of me.
  12. Will give everyone a lift because he's great to have about the place. He'll be flying in training in no time. Like a new signing. Happy for the lad. etc etc.
  13. I was at Wembley when Davidson (LB) played his part in Don Hutchison's winning goal in 1999. Davidson, McCann, Hutchison ...... GOAL! Goal Scotland! GIRFUY! Happy days.
  14. And if getting horsed every week (sometimes by as many as nine goals) is your thing, than maybes we did the right thing getting rid of him.
  15. I voted Miller, unlike McGhee he did like defenders. Was it the Skonta Riga game at Pittodrie we played with 7 defenders (possible exaggeration) in the team? I don't think McGhee was a popular appointment but none of us could have guessed it would go quite this badly. Miller, however, should never have been allowed anywhere near the Aberdeen manager's job.
  16. 2nd works for me.

I think we will see an improvement straight away.
  21. I'm happy with this, we need a manager that commands respect from a lost dressing room of players and a divided support. Craig Brown's age, experience, and track record should be an inspiration to the players and hopefully rejuvenate a lacklustre support. Brown is what he is, and I honestly expect to see an instant improvement. Hopefully this will all be confirmed in the morning, and we can all truly start pulling in the same direction. As a good friend of mine (sadly no longer with us) used to regularly observe, there's many a good tune played on an old fiddle.
  22. Ooooh I hope I set sky+ for that.
  23. I know the woman who works in the club shop but we've never discussed Mark McGhee.
