  1. Now he'd be a good signing. But that would mean the Club showing a wee bit of ambition, so it's a non-starter.
  2. I'm actually more positive about Sunday now, yes it was another frustrating defeat but we're nowhere near as bad as our league position suggests, and last night some of the players really looked like they cared. We're long overdue a win, especially against the Smellytic, and even some of our 'hard of thinking' players must realise this is it for the season - absolutely nothing to loose. Let's stop talking about them as if they're feckin' Bharcelona, Charlie Mulgrew ffs sake, one last hurrah .... let's have a right go at these cunts.
  3. The Jockey wasn't injured in the Grand National.
  4. Fucking hell Tyrant, you're a right Nag.
  5. I kind of agree, but I think many of our younger players would have been absolute stars if only they had been a few years older. If you could put Pawlett and Fyvie into a midfield with an on form Severin, Nicholson and Smith (2008 ish) they would have blossomed. Particularly Scott Severin, we haven't had a player with that overall ability and professionalism in our team since he left. What afc needs now is some proper players like Seve or Anderson who really want to play for the club and the manager. I'm hoping Brown can attract such players in the Summer, but let's face it he's got a massive job to do.
  6. McIlroy, what a cunt.
  7. I'm getting like that myself, just want to get the 17th out of the way now. If we win - great, if we lose - at least that puts an awful season to bed. I can't even be fucking bothered with Donstalk any more, everything AFC depresses me at the moment.
  8. Yeah but that comparison was just meant as in making the (perceived) step up to a top three club. He took reasonable form at Killie and turned it into vital goals for a club who undeniably gave the OF something to think about in the first half of the season. JJ will be hoping Diamond can also rise to the challenge, shake off the losers mentality, and help Hearts compete at that end of the table again next season.
  9. I think I'd be a bit alarmed if I was Hearts fan reading about 'a wage packet Aberdeen could never match' being offered to a player of ZD's limited ability, but I guess Jeffries could point to the success Kevin Kyle enjoyed earlier in the season as proof that Diamond's form could be revitalised by the move. It's the right time for both afc and Zander to go their separate ways, I would wish him all the best for the future but if he chooses a move to Tynecastle he can fucking forget it. Hopefully within a year he'll be going on strike over unpaid bonuses or something.
  10. Bollocks to the dignified silence, Craig Brown should just tell everyone what the little prick said. Cup final revenge over that muppet would be a fucking dream come true.
  11. Where the fuck did those lorries come from?
  12. Yup, Milsom for me too.
  13. I honestly think he'd come back a better player BB, in terms of attitude, ability and consistency. A taste of the 'big time' should be an inspiration for any player. However, my instinct says we wont see him back at Aberdeen at all. I hope we do, no grudges from me.
  14. Two from the top and any four from the bottom please Rachel, all look quite good. Didn't Liverpool have something similar recently?
  15. Or, very clever. People will buy that because they think it's a fuck up. And 'guandongenterprisesltd' know they'll get publicity like this on forums around the world. Genius. Cha-ching.
  16. I can't remember who captained the victorious Tennents Sixes squad in 1986 BB.
  17. Possibly. You been for a liquid lunch btw?
  18. I'm guessing they're delaying the announcement about inevitable departures until absolutely necessary, just to try and keep a feel-good factor among the fans. It's all PR bollocks, they think we're all stupid.
  19. If Chris Maguire (and his retarded agent) can't see the benefits of another 2 years working under coaches like Brown and Knox, he deserves what's coming to him. As dons fans, we've seen this situation countless times before, but how many former afc players can truthfully say a move away from Pittodrie worked out as they expected? The grass isn't always greener, and I fear Maguire will learn that the hard way. Good luck to him.
  20. In ill fitting pants if I remember correctly. The whole McGhee thing was a failed experiment.
  21. They seem to have a good chemistry with the players.
  22. It will have a "Charlie Allan Stand", fondly known as the Bell End by the fans.
  23. The sending off was ridiculous, and while Barca were far superior throughout there's no doubt the decision made Arsenal's job much harder. France wiped the floor with Scotland, but we still pinched a great result in Paris. The Gooners woz robbed.
