Just my opinion, but a fit and motivated Sone Aluko would be a bigger asset to our club than Mark McGhee. The flashes of brilliance and missed chances could easily become match winning contributions if he was working with the right people in the right environment. If Sone is in a huff about something and it's proving detrimental to his performances, it's surely up to the manager to sort the problem out? MM should be 'MANAGING' the situation, because that's his job. Kick his arse, give him some encouragement, drop him if need be, but please do something to manage the situation. Don't just shrug your shoulders, blame a young player, and mumble 'yaknow' all day.

I'm currently showing my disgust about the current situation by not giving a flying fuck any more, instead I'm just getting pissed and waiting for Strictly to come on. Some good gusset shots tonight hopefully, y'know?

Exactly Al, looked a very harsh red to me but when you're in our position all these decisions seem to go against you. We are on an horrendous run of results now and something has to change to arrest the slump, for me it's got to be the management team. Dave I was one of only about 5000 Aberdeen fans at the ICT games, so I am behind them. 'Them' being the team. All I'm saying is I don't understand where the optimism has sprung from amongst the support just because of a bold/stupid decision by the Board. We could be looking at a sub 5000 crowd at the St Johnstone game as the drop in numbers continues, especially now even more fans feel alienated by the decision to keep MM and SL in their jobs. I don't think we'll get relegated even if he stays in charge, but I wouldn't want to be MM doing those interviews with the press week in/week out for the rest of the season. I think describing all those as utter horse manure is daft, some howlers in there I grant you, but 150k for Mulgrew (where would we have been without his goals?), 250k for Lovell (scored to qualify for Europe), even some of the others weren't that bad. Lots of those signings were in a different era - a World away from where clubs are now financially. Fans of every club in the World could post up a list of failed signings who didn't live up to their price tag. At least we seem to have learned our lesson, unlike Dundee and possibly Hearts.

Tokely got lectured about holding on to Diamond in the 2nd half before a corner was taken, instead of just letting play go on and giving us a penalty. Inconsistency is what we hate most about referees, he was also quick to book our players but left the card in his pocket for their numerous fouls.
