  1. Bloody cyclists!! :hammer:
  2. Howard Web in the 2010 World Cup Final
  3. There's more than 1 way to skin a cat. Fucking hell, that's an awful expression. But it's relevant here. Whilst I'm svelte and sexy as fuck now that wasn't always the case. I have been on a some major diets in the last decade and the first time I dropped weight I did it entirely by portion control. I was eating carbs (bread and potatoes) every day without fail and the weight still fell off. It's all about moderation. I was always fairly active which helped and although I'm not a drinker I am bad for drinking too much fizzy soft drinks so cutting back on that was quite hard. I 100% have a sugar addiction again now. Eat too many sweeties but I don't feel guilty about it to be honest because I am back doing more and more exercise and have probably never been fitter.
  4. Anyone see McGhee's post Tim match interview? IMO my opinion even worse than his one at Pittodrie. He looked relaxed and happy. As if he had won. And he was of the opinion that a 2-0 defeat was a thoroughly positive result. Surely the Motherwell fans want him out?
  5. Seems like a sensible loon. I took a run out to Costco yesterday. Half expected folk to have petitions all up in my grill but all I was was about two dozen banners against the proposal. The No group have badly let themselves and everyone who is against the stadium down by being a bunch of irrational naive fuds. I think they've fucked any chance of successfully opposing the proposal. As much as I'd prefer to stay at Pittodrie (whether it's practical or not is by the by) I'm still looking forward to seeing these cretins' coupons when Sir Alex Ferguson inevitably cuts the ribbon.
  6. Yep. That went for Conso and Reynolds too. They were all dodgy as fuck. Just brilliant to snatch a win from the jaws of defeat though. Sweet as a nut!
  7. Which one? Walcott?
  8. That wide pavement is also a cycle path. Cue the objections from the cyclists.
  9. Just tremendous watching McGhee squirm. His interview after the game was every bit as bad as his one after our heavy Tim defeat of a few years ago. If I was a Motherwell fan I'd be utterly raging. We were good but they were also bad. Christie's goal was beautiful. No question that he meant it. Stunning goal and one of my favourites that I've seen at Pittodrie. Loved it. He played very well and frankly Shinnie might be struggling to get back into the team. Just a shame that Taylor's shot never went in. A rare mistake from Lewis let them in and Taylor (who'd played really well) started to look a bit dodgy after we went 6-0 up. But being 6-0 up is always the best time to start playing shite. Great that Rooney clicked again. Was only ever going to be a matter of time. We must keep our momentum going. Fuck the huns.
  10. Aye but it's probably not as blatant. And I work for the Government so aye.
  11. That's that fucked then. I'll start a GoFundMe to repair Pittodrie.
  12. Valentine's day is for kids and for wankers in new relationships. Fucking made up money spinning nonsense.
  13. Did Ash Taylor's wife tell you that, Al?
  14. Saw Kevin Thompson being interview on SSN this morning and they were talking about Alex McLeish (hun) getting the job. Thompson actually said "Who wouldn't want the Rangers job". Well I think there are plenty people who wouldn't want it. I remain to be convinced that McInnes is one of them. They club are a shambles, aye but he could double his wage down there and money will always cloud someone's vision. That's beside the likelihood that he's a "Rangers man".

I don't disagree. It has to be a really special film for me to watch it again so soon after initially seeing it. Django Unchained sprang to mind as I was thinking about films I could watch quickly again. But even that one was a couple of years when I think about it. There are films that I've seen several times but enough time has to pass between each showing so that I don't remember every single details. My own Mither, also an intellectual type like your daughter would watch The Green Mile regularly. A terrific film I know but not one that I could watch sometimes several times a month. Anyway. Next on my list is Gold. And then we'll see fit's fit.
  16. You're probably right, Al. Fucking tremendous live band as well we all know but as less will admit. But the funny thing is that back in 2001 whilst Yellow was being over-played I was, along with many of the lads in this thread, listening to the same metal (as well as Hip Hop and Nu-metal) and I strongly disliked Coldplay (and the song Yellow) until I saw them (and the song) play(ed) live. Been hooked ever since. A lot of good bands being mentioned here. I like a few Sepultura songs (as well as Soulfly). Had a mate who listened to them a lot. Kerrang of the late 90s/early 00s was excellent.

Saw the Lego Batman movie last night. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would but you couldn't pay me to sit through it again. The new Resident Evil film is in the same boat. Not much danger of them winning Oscars like. I saw 3096 Days the other night. Nae a new film but I'd never seen it before. Pretty weird/harrowing film but it just about held my interest. Sounds like I need to see Manchester By The Sea.
  18. None of you pay much attention to the Eye-talians eh? They ken how to do it best. When I make spag bol it's much simpler than all of that. Decent mince, garlic, oregano, basil, bay leaves, passata, tomato puree, salt, pepper and maybe a beef stock cube. That's it. I love bacon, don't get me wrong, but if you're adding bacon and other stuff it'll eventually cease to be spag bol. Folk that pile in celery and carrots etc and what have you aren't making proper authentic spag bol. Carbonara is another dish commonly bastardised beyond recognition. 4 or 5 ingredients tops should be all you need for the whole dish.
  19. This. I don't think the big wheels at the top of the club would've concerned themselves too much with the thoughts of some of us neanderthal football fans.
  20. Simmie.
  21. Wonder what the buy out clause is. Wouldn't be surprised if it's quite low. Hopefully not less than a million.

I thoroughly enjoyed T2. Having not seen the 1st one since the 90s I didn't have it fresh in my mind but I don't remember it being anywhere near as good as the 2nd one? I may need to re-watch admittedly. I thought the glimpses back to the 1st one were well done. I liked all the characters but the way Spud and Begbie are does make them stand out more. Begbie's son looked like Craig Gordon and Kevin Bridges had a kid together. I didn't realise that Diane was also Margaret from Boardwalk Empire!

I enjoy the big two rugby tournaments usually. Dunno fuck all about it though. Are Scotland nae shite anymore? My prediction is the wooden spoon, getting "humbled" by Italy and another glorious defeat against England but signs that we're "making progress".
  24. Celtic could go the rest of the season without dropping a point if that's how one their closest competitors plays against them. Impotent performance. We deserved nothing. They badly missed Rogic and Dembele and were a long way from unbeatable but we played with fear and our midfield was missing. We struggled to string two passes together and a lapse in concentration cost us a goal. I thought defensively we mostly looked pretty good. Jack for me was easily our MOTM the match. Best performance I've seen from him in ages. I'd go as far as to say that was a proper captain's performance. When we did get into their final third we hoofed the ball back to Gordon or just out of play. Very frustrating night. I don't mind getting beat when we have a go and fight but I didn't see much of that. Special mention to the referee of last night's match Scott Brown. Cunt.
  25. With them missing the Thumb, Rogic and their £40m man Dembele I'm a little bit worried that it's going to be too easy for us tonight.
