  1. Simmie.
  2. It was the lack of basic English and communication skills that makes this a non-goer for me.
  3. So am I the only one that thought Joe Lewis was badly caught out for their goal? The CBs didn't cover themselves in glory but I thought from that point on they were all superb. Everyone. I'm nae fussed about the Burnley player cupping his ear at us. As classless as unwarranted as it was I'm not going to get offended by that when I've shouted myself hoarse at opposition players. If you give it you've got to be able to take it. All you utter cretin fuds that greet when Kris Boyd gets it right up us can gtf to fuck. The fans were amazing too. It's not often you'll see me praising the arseholes that support our club but on Thursday night we were excellent. Even their goal didn't stop the singing. I knew pretty early on that Burnley wouldn't have often seen anything like it before and we were getting the respect that we earned at the end. Home fans applauding us and offering handshakes was nice and highlights (again) the point that McInnes often makes about our fans. Why can't we be like that more often? On Sunday against the Huns it wasn't anywhere near as bad as it normally is but it was still bad at times.. back to the usual pish with a'body panicking, screaming at our own players and constantly moaning and groaning.
  4. As much as I love the song and what it advocates I couldn't bring myself to join in with a bunch of wankers, of which two thirds voted for No last Thursday. Even if it was just a response to their "Ingerlund Ingerlund Ingerlund" chant. Shower of fucking cretins.
  5. Nae debating the quality of the work.. but the mind of the man who'd get that done!
  6. Dos cunt.
  7. Bloody government.. upgrading our neglected ageing infrastructure. Again!

I'm also disappointed that R_S used Toyota model names to perpetuate a string of Honda related car puns.
  9. Never mind all that irrelevant pish, Jute. Did you get a pie?
  10. So have I. 8) I got a 10 point boost which allowed me to secure a ticket. How or why exactly I got said boost I don't know or care. All that matters is that I'm a proper top red.

    World Cup

Ach England were shite as well. The commentary last night was fucking hard work. Not a peep out of them when Henderson pretended he was hurt after the "headbutt". Come on to fuck, Sweden!
  12. The amount of posts you've made about your lack of enthusiasm for the tie should put you on zero points for this!
  13. Aye. Like Rico? Rico seems to be living proof that true loyalty gets you to the front of the queue. Obviously travels to the vast majority of games if he has enough points despite nae being a DNAer. Like CTS I've no problem with this. No DNAers get or expect to automatically skip the queue. Folk that can't afford it are unfortunately at a disadvantage but whether we like it or not (and we don't, I know) the modern game isn't for the "working class" anymore. Having said that I would argue that "loyalty" points should be based on actual attendance. I've no problem with a chunk of points being awarded for being a season ticket holder or even a bigger chunk for Black & Gold/DNA however if your season ticket goes unused a point should drop off. 2 points per away ticket bought (max one per Dons ID obviously) and 2 points for domestic cup home games and 4 for Europa games home and away. This is the only way to properly separate the Dons loyal () from the fakers. Although this still favours the more well-off because if you're poor there's no danger you can afford all that fitba at modern fitba prices.
  14. I suppose after being exposed as a real fan wannabe I should count myself lucky that I made it as high as phase 2!
  15. I still don't regret skipping the 0-0 Killie cup game.
  16. My total of 164 includes the 4 I got for the home leg. I phoned the ticket office and they said it'll definitely to to at least phase 2 and possibly phase 3 as well.

    Tennis

It's looking more and more likely that I'll have to try and flog my US Open tickets. Paid too much for them to watch players that I'm not hugely interested in.
  18. No one said that. They worded it cleverly.
  19. I'm 1 point shy of qualifying for phase 1 despite being a black and gold season ticket holder for the last 2 season and being a DNAer ST holder this season. Pretty frustrating. I wish I was contacted to be guaranteed phase 1!
  20. From their 50,000 season ticket holders?

 Murray at his best destroys Sampras! Straight sets min. The movement these days is unreal. Murray is/was lightning across the court. Federer's grace is his trademark. Djokovic's flexibility is legendary and Nadal is no slouch. Compare Sampras to these guys and he's practically immobile. Sampras would maybe be in the top 10 but nae much higher than that. We're talking Milos Roanic's level. A contender.. if enough of the top players are injured. Murray in Pistol Pete's era would have won so much more. Starting with all the Aussie Opens he came runner up in.
  22. 111. If it's really shit then dial 999 immediately.

Tennis is a lot more technical now. With players like Andy and Djokovic whose return of serve ability was probably unprecedented before them the players with just a big serve aren't really coming close to winning tournaments anymore. Pete Sampras, for example, wouldn't have won many majors if any in the current era. Kevin Anderson is a man who has a serve and not much else and has a record that doesn't say much. He did get the a slam final I think. But with a favourable and depleted draw. Roddick had a lot more to his game. Andy did really well on Tuesday. I was gutted he couldn't finish the job but he did better than I thought he would. Nick Kyrgios has some serve on him as well and when he's on his game he can trouble the best.
  24. I think it'll be quiet on the old Dons transfer front until the World Cup starts to wind down.
  25. Absolutely not. It was a structured deal worth up to a million. FWIW worth I think that if we got offered £2.5m we'd take it and go out of our way to be accommodating but like the rest of you I'd like to see us reject that and hold out for more.
