Well they ranged from properly shite to half decent. Hope this helps.

It's nae a problem for me as I won't be drinking and will be either driving or getting a lift but I do appreciate it's tough for the cunts that rely on public transport on a Sunday timetable. If there's a train that gets in on time it's likely to cost a fucking fortune and be a grim journey for the poor cunts on the train.

Definitely wrong. We voted against being a country.
-
There's a time I would have killed for this but fucking hell I'm struggling for the motivation for a trip to Hampden. Just like the players were last time.
-
Big game coming up here for the likes of Shinnie and Logan who were very loud (and why nae) after we got a result there at the end of last season. The challenge will be to do it again. Do not show them any respect. Make sure they knows they're in a game and stay on the fucking park and I think we have every chance of getting a result. For some fucking reason I'm going to the game so it better nae be nane o' yer 9-0 pish.

Serena owes the umpire, fans and her opponent all an apology after that.

Hibernian v Aberdeen Betfred Cup Quarter-Final
Tyrant replied to Lencarl's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Ach Hibs were the better team but I wouldn't say they were "good". A good team would have punished us. Fucking hell, if you can't score with one of the numerous chances you had then you could quite conceivably argue that they didn't deserve to get through either. We were poor on the night and tactically but we fought and ground out the result we wanted. Derek has to sort this though. If Hibs were't crap last night too we'd have taken a battering. Pass marks for me go to Shinnie eventually. Wasn't having his best game but had the attitude of a good captain. As illustrated by stepping up to take the first penalty. Ball was our MOTM by a mile, let's face it. When he's played in his correct position he's an asset. GMS ran himself ragged. Although at times Effe Ambrose had the measure of him he kept at it. Everyone who stepped up to take pens. Apart from McGinn of course. The most experienced penalty taker of the lot was the only one to miss. I wasn't confident when McKenna, May or Anderson stepped up but they were all brilliant. They got McInnes out of the shit last night. -
The majority of what he says is nonsense. The fans did care who he was and what he had achieved but it sounds like what he wanted was a free pass because he won the CWC in '83. Sorry Mark. It doesn't work like that. It doesn't matter who you are; if you're employed to do a job and can't do it you'll be out on your arse. Not familiar with modern football management? You're a small man in many ways and you deserved your embarrassing humbling at Pittodrie for the 7-2. No one owes you anything. Shut the fuck up.

I've been critical of Wright but he was excellent on Saturday. St. Mirren were terrified of him so it's only fair that I officially put the Scott Wright good game tally up to three. Same on Saturday please loon. (although it'll most likely be from the bench)
-
Delighted with that. Fine. Let's all move on. Nothing to see here.
-
What powers or access do the press have that us mere mortals don't have?
-
My position on this hasn't changed in the last year - I'd be amazed and delighted if Shinnie signed a new deal with us. I'd be offering him the money Rooney was getting too and even then I think he'd get more lucrative offers from clubs South of the wall.

I was talking about our youth players in general. They're nae good enough was my point. Whether you have an agenda against McInnes or not you can't argue that he knows more about our squad than the fans do and that he's more qualified than us to make the call on whether players are ready to be first team starters or not. I'm nae fussed about showing signs of weakness pal. Couldn't possibly give less of a shit. I've been wrong countless times and will be countless times again. But on this occasion it was you who missed the point. I forgive you though.
-
You're the one who's confused pal. I wasn't "entering a conversation" between you and another poster. My post was stand-alone. I mentioned Wright's hattrick in anticipation for it being chucked in my face the second I dare suggest that Wright isn't good enough. What constitutes "tackling a poster head on"? I quoted your quote word for word although admittedly I didn't use the quote button. Anyone who is able to read (100% of the people who view this forum) can see what/who I had the issue with so how is it cowardly? Did I leave you in any doubt that you're one of the posters that I was referring to? I seem to have really bothered you. This tickles me. It wasn't my intention although I'm not surprised. You lack the emotional stability for a football forum. (There's a sentence I never thought I'd say!) I won't rise the the blatant baiting about banning you "again". We both know I haven't banned you before. We discussed this in detail the last time you spat the dummy out. You know full well I'm nae the nazi type that sits hovering over the ban button. The last thing that tickles me is you, the poster who has undoubtedly racked up more personal insults aimed at other posters than the rest of the forum combined greeting about "insulting rhetoric". Have a day off min.

Fuck sake Manc! Clean up after yourself eh.

Did Holland in it again? YAAAAAAS Van Gaal!
-
So it's nae now called "The House of Fraser"?

Confused about what? Wright scored a hattrick at Firhill in which I believe was the last game of the 16-17 season and has had about 1 good game since. Anderson scored a hattrick more recently but not in a senior competition so excuse me if I don't go waving a boner around about that.
-
He scored a hattrick against a team that had nothing to play for and didn't look arsed. It was a good performance but since that day he's only had maybe one, two at the most, other good performances which is why I believe Derek doesn't trust him yet. He has had more game time than any other of the youngsters I think. He still has a lot to prove along with young Bruce. You'd need to ask Derek why specifically he goes with May and Cosgrove ahead of Anderson because I'm fucked if I know. Cosgrove wins balls in the air but Anderson seemed to do reasonably well in the air too from what I remember from Saturday.
-
Always tickles me when folk demand that "Wright should play the whole game" and ask "what the fuck is that beardie cunt looking at week in week out that he doesn't start him". The answer is fucking everything. McInnes literally watches these guys all day every day and yet us fans (who see brief glimpses of the players in question at best) suddenly decide we've seen enough to over rule the most qualified person to decide. Wright has never convinced me that he's worthy of a starting berth. Anderson is showing promise initially without a doubt but then so did Wright. If Anderson keeps going the way he is he'll find himself starting games sooner rather than later. No doubt about it.

Officially announced. Fucking BOOOO etc.

I don't think lack of funds is the problem here?
-
The way I recall it we couldn't sign Snoyl because there was a fee involved (and we didn't pay fees for a good decade or so) and the next thing I heard Snoyl had been released and ended up at Nijmegen. It's still being said a lot that we should look abroad because "other clubs manage". Please to be advising of some recent success stories from other clubs unearthing foreign diamonds? McInnes goes for players with experience of the British leagues and as a result has a better team spirit (IMO) than clubs like Hearts.
