  1. Aye. Gutted for them because they were the best team by far for three quarters of the tie. And even in the second half last night where Tottenham managed to play some football Ajax still hit the post once or twice. The Champions League has had it's critics but fucking hell it's been something else this season. The final will be 0-0 after 120 minutes.
  2. It was a great goal. But it's still filed under a fluke because if he tries that again another 100 times he's nae scoring once. But he scored in the one that counts. Fair play to City. To win the league this season where second place is achieving 94 points (and possibly 95 or 97) is unprecedented. Although it would've been as miraculous as Leicester's league win if they'd done it whilst living within their means financially. (Sorry SeeBass. Cheap shot! )

    Films

I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I'm not a fan of long films! Tarantino's ability to grip you was dialogue (as opposed to non stop action) is prevalent here. And the sound track was superb.
  4. Must've played a blinder in goals if he kept the scoreline down to a respectable 4!
  5. Vinnie Kompany's a jammy cunt.
  6. Really? He was pap. Not many worse than him although you mentioned one who definitely was.
  7. How is it anything other than bought?
  8. But he reeled off a line from Toy Story! (which got the media fully erect. ) As it turned out they barely got beyond the half way line.
  9. Could've and should've been a much wider margin of victory. Spurs second best for most of the game. Hope Ajax can finish the job next week. Commentators seemed to be in a constant state of shock last night. Either they've not been watching Ajax in the Champions League this season or they actually believed that an EPL team would be immune to the hidings that Juve and Real got.
  10. We all knew this was effectively a donation to the club. We all knew that the "playing budget" that the cash was pledged to can have a loosely defined meaning but the more the fans can see happening as a result the more people are likely to keep paying. If shite like James Wilson is the best visible thing to come out of it then people will bail.
  11. What's the verdict from the fans then? Is AberDNA a success? Failure? Jury still out? All I know is that, for whatever the reasons may be, we've have the worst two transfer windows for years. I would've expected better without the added boost of the DNA cash. McInnes must take responsibility although I appreciate that players will dick clubs about something hellish and when you're in our position you maybe don't have the luxury of dishing out ultimatums here, there and everywhere (and burning bridges in the process) but we need to find some middle ground. As it stands I've cancelled my DNA subscription and am unlikely to renew my season ticket. Even if the club was being run superbly like a well oiled machine what's the point when the referees are so inept that they take the competition out the matches with their abject dos cuntery.
  12. I caught the second half on a stream. It was shite. We didn't look like we had a man advantage. We're really bad at not taking the numerical advantage when we get it. The greeting around Broadfoot's red card is ridiculous. Just because he's "entitled to go for the loose ball" doesn't mean the ref's not entitled to red card him for making a cunt of it by going studs first into Joe's face and getting nowhere near the ball. The other reds were correct also. And Boyd could've gone too. Leading with the elbow when already on a yellow. And by all accounts Mulumbu was lucky? If they have a complaint about Dons players escaping punishment then there's maybe something in that (didn't see the first half) but they got the reds they deserved and nothing more. Cosgrove generally doesn't react and gets a lot of rough treatment so it must've been bad if he lost the plot. Very important win though. Pleasing.
  13. Nae this pish again. Since when do you need to be a professional scout with 20 years experience to be able to state your opinion about a player (or a manager) not being good enough? It's nae up to us to source replacements and have them ready. For the record I like Considine. Although he should not be a 1st 11 player at our club anymore. Id be happy to have him on the bench next season.
  14. Raheem Sterling up there with the best players in the world on current form. Unplayable most of the time these days. He has progressed hugely at City. When Liverpool sold him for £50m I thought it was a better deal for Liverpool than it was for City but that's turned out to be a bargain. Some player. I was still fully enraged in schadenfreude when their injury time winner was VARed off.
  15. Ouch. I wasn't one of the many who claimed to be confident. I didn't have any faith in Campbell to live up to the occasion but he was far from the only one. Ferguson let everyone down. As did Ball although I do feel his first yellow was farcical. But he still knew he was on a yellow when had badly miss timed his challenge on Christie. Exactly the same was that Boyata did in the league cup final on GMS and got off fucking scott-free. I knew it was going to be a shite day roughly 90 seconds into the game when some utter fucking cretin behind us was whinging at folk near us for standing up. A few guys (who weren't blocking his view of the park) refused and he ran to a fucking steward and grassed. The steward is on £6 per hour and didn't give a fuck. He fucked off straight after that which is just as well because he was testing everyone's patience. It's fucking Hampden. Two thirds of every cunt in there were standing. Calling people "Mr. Selfish" in a whingey nasal tone is a sure fire way to confirm that you're a traffic warden that everyone who already knows you hates. I was heading to the exit as soon as the 3rd went in. The uppity wankers having a go at fans for not torturing themselves to the bitter end when we got served such horseshit from most of the team and management are just happy clapper bellends. We took almost 20k down there. They got support. They let the support down. Stay 'till the end like a "real" fan if you want but fucking do it quietly. Dicks. Some of us have grown up. So. Season over then. Highly doubt I'll bother with many of the remaining games. Apathetic.
  16. Aye. I'm not convinced that Man Utd are capable of beating City even if they really wanted to (and I don't think they'll be completely motivated knowing that they'd more than likely be doing Liverpool a favour) It's not over yet, true, but City have been the better team thus far. Bearing in mind they didn't effectively sit out the League and FA cups. Fighting on 4 fronts and in the driving seat in the league. Aye they slipped up back in January (I think it was?) but Liverpool drew 3 out of 4 games against (comparative) shite and gifted the advantage right back. I think City's bottle will prove harder than Liverpool's. If they can get Joe Gomez back fit and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain it might provide a helpful boost. Ox was in superb form before his injury and Gomez had formed an excellent partnership with Van Dijk before his injury.
  17. They fucked it weeks ago. The title is as good as at The Etihad.
  18. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Man Utd falter last night. Ole oot.
  19. At the time it looked like a punch (or attempted punch that Brown tried to evade) and since then I've seen it described as a punch or a lash-out but never a shove until I saw the article linked. Speaking of sounding like a conspiracy theorist I put it to you that if that had been McKenna or Cosgrove for example the more sensationalist terms would be used wherever possible. Appeasement efforts seem to double when either of the cheeks are involved. I don't think Brown would've dreamed that it would work so quickly. I'm sure he expected it to take more winding up before Morelos reverted to type and lashed out. I don't doubt that every single manager tells his players to wind up the silly cunt.
  20. The propaganda machine now carefully referring to it as a shove: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47775433
  21. I don't mean we have to trust him as in genuinely trust him. I'm saying we more or less have no choice now because he's got his will. I don't trust the guy as far as I could throw him.
  22. Because redeveloping Pittodrie is not happening.
  23. Was Freddo's sending off yesterday not very similar to the McKenna incident at the start of the season? A wee nibble (provoktion as Stevie would say) from Brown resulting in a lash out which may not have fully connected or caused injury but a lash out nonetheless. Exactly the same as what happened with McKenna. In both instances Morelos was sent off. The difference is that this time he's not being defended. Kris Boyd tore him a new arsehole at half time and Stevie G said that "he's let the club down again". He used the word "again" which implies that he feels he's let the club down in the past. But Rangers have appealed the vast majority if not all of the cards he's received that they're allowed to appeal. So they're appealing despite knowing he was in the wrong. No surprise in that. Nothing we didn't already know but it does irk me a little that Brown is "clever" for trying to wind up a known hot head when it was McKenna's "provoktion" that resulted in the red Morelos was shown at Pittodrie being rescinded in an unprecedented move. Having said that it was hugely amusing viewing. The icing on the cake would've been a booking for McGregor (hun) that I had on at 11/1.
