  1. Afraid not mate. It was a REALLY tough decision to make but the fact I've seen us lift the league cup twice and there well be other cup finals swung it in end.
  2. Out, sold my ticket two days ago as I got offered a last minute trip to Amsterdam with a total hottie. Pre, match and post - bar in the dam I think it will be close, probably a 2-1 final score. Btts would be the bet to put on imo. I really hope DM leaves the back line alone.
  3. Considine's post matcher is worth a watch on red tv
  4. Bit harsh, the comment was better all round. Kjaer and Snelders were far better at things like taking crosses, passbacks and general distribution (leightons goal kicks were appalling). Leighton was a great keeper but he didn't like coming off his line very much.
  5. So was Theo and Kjaer imo
  6. Very true tom but If memory serves everton were fairly fucked financially when he was there? I hate the prick but if you were to offer me strachan or smith for the scotland job i would take smith every time.
  7. I heard he used to do that at Mordor as well. I actually saw Rougvie in the golf club before a home game a year or so ago. Not an ounce of fat on him, not a man to be fucked with still.
  8. Polworth being out is pretty big for them, he's been playing really well under Foran. Raven was one of the best rb's in the league a few seasons ago but has lost a yard of pace the past year or so and Tansey always shows up against us these days so all in thats really good news. I'll revise my prediction to 3-0 dons Stockley rooney and Mcginniesta
  9. Say what you like about Smith (and I often say walkout traitor hun cunt fyi) but he is very pragmatic and skilled at getting results. Scotland under Smith would likely have got at least the play off in the last campaign and be performing significantly better in this one.
  10. Some folk just can't get over the fact he grew up a Celtic fan. Bobby Biscuit posted a while back he heard 'fans' calling him a taig at a match. I know every support has their knuckle draggers but some of the treatment NM really angers me. He's one of the best signings the club has made in recent and not so recent memory.
  11. If it was more or less a fact that he doesn't try he never would have scored against Celtic or put the cross in for quinn to score the winner last season for that matter. He might not always play well against them but I have yet to see any evidence whatsoever to suggest he's not giving his all.
  12. Tell that to the previous posters who think he doesn't try against Celtic then.
  13. I don't subscribe to the whole Mcginn didn't show up against Celtic nonsense and I would absolutely start him. I would also go 4-4-2 as really their only weakness is at the back. Intae them, heed first etc. Lewis Logan AOC Considine Shinnie Mcginn Jack Maclean Hayes Rooney Stockley
  14. Interesting to see how we line up for this one, it's the widest pitch in the country. I would very much like to see the same back line from the PT game as it looks like it's got potential. Probably out as I'm just about to fly back from Iceland and it's easily the most expensive place I've ever been. Online Walk the dog then maybe the pub Crafty 1-0 the dons or an epic five goal thriller
  15. Foster, thought he had become a pretty decent fullback by the time MM took over and was raging he pushed our only recognisable FB out the door. That he went to the huns was insult to injury. I said this one before but when Foster was on sportsound for the first time he did their quickfire questions. He had already spoken about his distaste for MM and that he hadn't wanted to leave Aberdeen. When he was asked what his proudest moment in football was I expected playing in the champions league to be the answer. Without any hesitation though he answered "being made cub captain at Aberdeen". Regardless of what you think of him as a player he clearly loves the dons and whilst it's depressingly predictable that he gets boo's I think it's a real shame someone who holds or club in such regard gets treated so badly by our fans.
  16. Wow. Just.... Wow
  17. As in people actually said that Al?
  18. Seriously?
  19. Really don't understand why you wouldn't want Wright
  20. The stand out candidate would be Tommy Wright, no question. IMO he is the best manager in the league, there is nothing to dislike about how he has gone about his business at St J, indeed, everything to be impressed by. McIntyre is a dud if you ask me, not interested. Mcleish is a dinosaur of the game, not interested. I wouldn't be gutted by Archibald as he impresses me and you never get an easy game against thistle but Wright would absolutely be the man I would want.
  21. Basket case club, doubt he would be interested
  22. I wouldn't want barton within a mile of the training ground let alone playing for us. I'm sure deek could get a tune out of him but he's a fucking liability both on and off the field. It will be interesting to see where he ends up and if he can regain his burnley form or not but I suspect rocket maybe right and his legs have gone.
  23. ..... worth a look? I jest, of course.
  24. Hun media is quite amusing this evening. They don't seem too enamoured at the prospect of DM which is quite interesting but then they are huns so obviously not the sharpest tools in the box. Regardless though if MW walks our manager is going to be bookies favourite unfortunately.
