  1. Mediocre first half but we certainly were not dominated by hearts at any point really. Excellent second half I thought though, every one just upped a gear and really wanted it. I do agree hearts shat it a bit but we were well worth the win in the end. I actually thought Morris looked quite handy when he came on. Big win.
  2. I would like to see how Duk got on alongside sokler 2bh. As a pairing you could argue Duk and Miovski aren't overly suited playing with the other as a two. Not that they can't do well together but both suit playing with a more team orientated cf. We haven't seen enough of Sokler to say that's what he is but he defo has the potential to be.
  3. You are spot on on the weak spots though re Miovski at least we have other attacking options to at least play. Rb and cm though we are so light. Nicky Devlin has been the best fb business we have done in quite a while i would say and if he got injured we would be in trouble as I'm far from convinced by Morris. Same with Shinnie. Barron, Clarkson, polvara and mcgrath are not holding midfielders. I wonder if Gartenmann could move forward in a crunch , he reads the game well and is more than good enough on the ball to win it and move it to a creative player. Mcgarry coming back is a positive at least, I haven't seen anywhere near enough of him to judge his worth yet.
  4. We are about to embark on a run from the last day of November to the 2nd last day of December (30 days) which encompasses 10 games. That's literally a one game every three days for a month. I mean, that's just fucking bonkers and I honestly can't remember the club every having a run like this whilst I've supported them. It gets worse though cos then we have County at home on the second of January so it's actually an 11 game in 33 day run... Which is also a one in 3 average just for longer. Joy. Obviously, this is going to be quite the test for the squad and the management. I suspect this is what Robson and Agnew have been talking about when they say everyone has a role to play in the campaign despite lack of game time. Rotation becomes a necessity now and perhaps even players like Besuijen will be feeling tired come the bells of Hogmanay. The big question marks for me are over dadia, Williams and gueye as these guys have come with something resembling a reasonable pedigree but the few appearances between them have not inspired any praise. It's not all bad though, including the County game 6 of the 8 league games are at home and they are all very winnable. The two away are Easter road (which is this Sunday) and the fun away on the 23rd. They are very winnable games also..... though I concede hibs away is defo not easy after coming back from Helsinki. They are also very far apart as dens is not until the 23rd and we will play at home for 3 league games, 1 European game and then a trip to hampden before that. It's impossible to predict how this is going to go. Key players getting injured seems fairly inevitable though even with plenty rotation..... but then it's not guaranteed either. We might get lucky and avoid anything more serious than a few minor knocks to the likes of Dante Polvara and Esper Sokler. If there is an advantage of playing so many games it's that if you get a few results and performances on the bounce you can get some cracking momentum and given the fixtures we have that is far from out of the question. As such there may be more riding on this Helsinki game than the pride and the 500k for the win it appears to be on first glance.
  5. Looking forward to this one, a lot of the squad will be pretty well rested and I think their performances since clement have been a bit over praised. Think we will win it 2-1
  6. I would like to see it go to the court of arbitration for sport 2bh.
  7. Going to go against the grain and say I thought we managed the game fairly well. We absolutely conceded territory to them for large spells and were outplayed for the first 15 mins of the second half but aside from that I felt we kept them at arms length fairly well. It wasn't a classic but we created the best chance of rhe game and stuck it away. 4 games in 9 days is a tough ask in any league especially when only one has been at home. The team deserves a lot credit for getting it the job done today imo. I think would rather the huns in the final, we both have a euro game the Thursday before and they are away to betis which will be tough for them. Hearts would be all kinds of fresh and well prepared in comparison.
  8. I think I've forgotten what the players look like it's been so long since we had a game
  9. School holidays as well is it not? But aye, it's tough times and people only have so much cash to play with
  10. Aye red weather warning for Aberdeen for tomorrow I hear. This game is getting postponed for sure. Fuck knows when we will be able reschedule it for
  11. Robson was a wee bit.... Not snippy exactly in his presser but I defo think he wasn't in a brilliant mood. Worth a watch. Reasonably confident, doc will have dundee well set up and Robson commented that they are particularly dangerous from set pieces. From that pov I hope the winds have died down a bit as you would think a swirling wind would probably suit them better. Solid 2-0 win, Sokler and mcgrath
  12. So, with this being confirmed as UK and Ireland what are the chances we might get some funding to redevelop Hampden?
  13. Aye that was beautiful. Really chuffed for Mackenzie, for a long time I didn't think he was going to quite be good enough. Fair to say Robson being in charge has been very good for him and his attitude is spot on. It's hard not to see him as a credible lb option now.
  14. What a load of nonsense, Robson rotated for the county game on Sunday and that worked out just fine. We might have lost against Frankfurt but it was a good performance and no-one would have batted an eye if he made no changes against county.
  15. I've come to the conclusion Robson's hesitancy to make subs prior was due more to do with what he had available on the bench. Fully expect a bit more rotation for Wednesday but feeling fairly good about that given what we have available to come in. Polvara starting against county is a probable for me, he was likely in Robsons thoughts to bring on on Sunday but then mcgarry got injured. Any word on how he's doing btw? Defo a tricky place to go and I hoping we get through it without any more injuries. County are not scared to get their hatchet man on and at home will likely be more aggressive. Possibly a night for one of Sokler or Gueye to come in for Miovski maybe? I know it's a bold move given recent form but we need to be giving these boys a chance at some point. Also we have to go to Mordor on Saturday and I defo want bojan fully fit for that one. I defo think we will win and I think we will do it in the 90. Reckon it could be quite a fun cup tie 2bh. 3-1 dons, no idea on scorer cos no idea who will start up top.
  16. We just got stronger as the half went on, delighted to see Duk get a goal. He's been far more like himself today. Jensen is starting to look excellent business!
  17. County have become the new hearts in terms of being hammer throwers
  18. How the fuck has brown stayed on there!

    Serie A

Lecce currently sitting 3rd in serie a. Rama has played every minute if memory serves
  20. Oh ffs, ghost watch will be showing up for the county game now
  21. Given our lack of cm's I hope he comes of age very fucking quickly
  22. Maybe. I think a large part of that performance tonight was down to how quickly Gartenmann and Jensen have settled. I've been impressed by Jensen already but Gartenmann looks like he could be a real find as well. Rubezic is looking much improved as well and, dare i say it, we may have something resembling a functioning defence again. Overall I'm just glad that one is out of the way and it hasn't been a bruising encounter either physically or mentally.
