  1. Unfortunately I missed most of the first half but thought the last 25 mins we looked good. We are massively lacking in width at the moment but I think glass adapted to that reasonably well. Campbell did great when he came on which is encouraging but surprised we didn't see mcginn. Tell you what, our team is fit if anything else and it's mind-boggling brown is 36. He's played 180 minutes in 3 days one of which was in a very hot, humid environment and he had barely broken a sweat best I could tell come the final whistle today. I was delighted when we signed him but he has exceeded reasonable expectation if you ask me.
  2. It's like you have a punnet of them
  3. I dunno, I fancy us next week. I took a lot of heart by the way we started bossing them the later stages of the second half. In their heat, they ain't fully fit I reckon. They have to travel this time and I suspect it will be a good atmosphere too. I think the odds are in our favour though I don't for a second think it's going to be easy.
  4. One mistake does not make him a shit player, jury is still out for me. His biggest asset look to be his crossing.
  5. This the first egg cormack has got on his face? Can't really think of another 2bh, interesting to see how he reacts. A good result tonight could lead to strengthening pre the next leg.
  6. I think the pitch will play far more into our hands than theirs as we are far better set up for having the ball in air. Also, apparently they are shite on set pieces and we are good at those at the moment. Interesting to see how glass plays it, wouldn't be at all surprised to see a back 3. I think we might just sneak it so I'm going 2-1 dons ramirez and Considine
  7. https://www.invernessreds.co.uk/city-council-publish-beach-stadium-proposals/ Great to see the council finally realise the dons are a big asset to the city. Can't see this not happening now 2bh as the club will surely be getting the land for free/peanuts.
  8. Wee bit of egg on the face for cormack for the first time for cormack. Interesting to see how he reacts
  9. If that pitch was a football team it would be heart of midlothian. This isn't being played at their stadium in fairness and could work out worse for qarabag 2bh. They are heavily reliant on a tika taka system and aspire to be the barca of Azerbaijan.
  10. Here we go pod had some good analysis on qarabag. No pushovers but winnable I would say. The conditions out there will likely be brutal heat wise and they like tika taka so we will need to resolve and discipline. Apparently they are shite at set pieces though and we seem to be really good at those this season so ? No prediction, honestly don't have a clue
  11. Sorry for having ambition more than just getting papped out by a 'big name'
  12. 1. since the game became so fuelled by money. 2. I think Considine wants to go as far as he can in the competition. Are you not excited about the potential bigger picture though? A few years consistently getting group stage football really ups the standard of player that we are able to afford making us far stronger domestically. The stronger we are domestically the more chance we have of getting a shot at the CL. Imo there's no danger Cormack isn't eying that up as a long term aim. Imagine how transformative that kind of money would be? I wouldn't give a rats ass if we got horsed every game if we made the CL groups
  13. Getting to the groups is worth about 4 Mill to the club with TV and match revenue. To put that into context that more than double what we got from the spfl for finishing 4th (1.8 Mill). It will be more if we win games (500k euros per win) and that should be easier to do than in the europa league. Whilst I can understand your point to an extent I'm far from underwhelmed at the prospect of a financial injection that would mean we should get in at least 2 players that can go straight into the first team (I. E. Better than we already have) without having to move anyone on. It's a massive fortnight for the club if you ask me.
  14. Mine too. Fucks sake Slim.
  15. I heard he did really well down there.
  16. Was listening to the here we go podcast last week and they had a former director Andrew Little on. It's well worth a listen as he had of interesting things to say. On ojo he said he's one of the highest paid players at the club. He's playing well at the moment but I'm yet to be convinced he is warranting his salary. Jury still out for me
  17. Brian Rice quits as Hamilton boss. Pretty out of the blue, wonder if he had another gambling relapse
  18. In fairness to that signing tansey had looked great at inverness. It was gamble he could step up but at the time I thought it had potential.
  19. Fucks sake manc ? So off to the spaghettihad we go. Defo expecting a wee bit of rotation for this though hard to say who exactly. I would probably stick with the 3 as we looked all kinds of solid when we went to that. Watching online Scrappy one goal victory, JET to score.
  20. Was very surprised when we moved to a 3 but we looked all kinds of solid didn't we? That's good to see, defence fragility has been the big criticism so far this season so it's nice to know we are capable of defending. That is the worst ref performance I've seen since Mike hun cunt McCurry against the huns in skovdahls first season
  21. Can see us scoring, can see us conceding too. 2-2. Brown and Jet for the dons
  22. I reckon we might be able to squeeze 750k but I concede 500 is more realistic
  23. Not with a year left on his deal he isn't
