  1. Aye but it wasn't originally supposed to go like that though and you would think dunne would have been part of the original deal of we were after him.
  2. If we were wanting dunne it would have been part of the Gallagher I would have thought.
  3. I didn't say I was getting excited. I said this window doesn't feel as scattergun as the last two. Of course they could all be a disaster, very transfer is a gamble, but we seem to be being far more considered in who are we bringing in this window.
  4. Credit where its due, so far our transfers this window haven't had the scattergun feel of the last two
  5. He's able to get plenty power without much back lift on his leg, defenders don't like that as I gives them even less time to set themselves.
  6. Sounds like this boy could be a really good bit of business. Boyce is a interesting one, really good penalty box striker imo and even at 31 I would expect plenty of goals from him should this be anything other than paper talk. If he did come in though surely that means ramirez is defo away?
  7. Pal of mine who follows lower league football down south says Stewart is tremendous business for us.
  8. Whether it's worth it or not will ultimately come down to how well he performs when he does play. If he's solid as hell and a key member of a team that gets us into Europe/Cup success then you can argue it's a successful bit of business however much it might leave a bad taste in the mouth loaning from the tims. I think it's fair to say though that he's probably never breaking into the celtic team regardless of how well he does with us. If he does well and enjoys his time here that could naturally lead to a permanent move like what nearly happened with Christie.

    Ramsay

Klopp classically operates a small squad so I think he will get a fair crack of the whip.
  10. Fair play to him for broadening his horizons
  11. I didn't pay that much attention 2bh mate. That is a shame for Robson, that would have been a great gig for him. You can understand why they took JM though
  12. Ross in advance talks with the jutes. Got a feeling he might do alright there. Could be a couple of tasty trips to Tannadice next season.
  13. That looks a pretty solid bit of business for Sevcove. It will be interesting to see macintyre and dodds face each across a dugout.
  14. He did brilliant, let's be honest. I did wonder if he was going to be a one season wonder but it's interesting he was being courted (no pun intended) by euro clubs (rijeka interviewing him was mental given their resource). Perhaps our league has a wee bit more profile these days.
  15. There's a few I've got to contest there. Di rocco was nothing more than average at best, snelders was signed pre 92 so doesn't fit the criteria as with ten caat but mixu is fine. He signed in 92. Solberg though? Oh panda, I think you need to go and think about what you have done
  16. Not panda but these guys spring to mind Bisconti Heikenen Stavrum Zerouali Kjaer Kiriakov (didn't set the heather alight but he was a solid rb I thought)
  17. Watched a few videos of lauritsen, he's probably about 6'3 but looks reasonably light on his feet. He's got that kinda gangly run that Peter crouch had. Hard to say too much about his ability though he showed pretty decent technique here. Another thing I noted is that he seems very popular with his team mates. He gets a hatrick in another reel and you could tell they were delighted for him. That suggests he puts a shift in potentially. Defo different to what we have
  18. Fair but you misunderstand, I didn't think he would come back to Scotland at all.
  19. Genuinely shocked by that
  20. I could understand why he got a game when we were really short on defenders but not now. Never rated him, was genuinely baffled when Norwich offered him a long deal a while back.
  21. https://abzfootballpodcast.podbean.com/e/ep47-beach-stadium-interview-wrob-wicks-202122-season-review-pt3-wandy-murray/ Very good interview with Rob wicks about the new stadium
  22. The club cannot be naive to the fact that it would be a highly unpopular piece of business bookending a really fucking shit season. I've cut cormack slack so far, (you can't make an omelette, etc) but he's got to be telling them to do one here. Barron has 2 years on his deal yet and given the influx of cash from mckenna and Ramsey we don't need to sell. Fergie will probably be gone too and if so that's about 10 mill coming into the club if the rumoured fees are accurate.
  23. Completely agree but for me the biggest difference between the teams was Ukraine wanted it more. And of course they did.
  24. Always felt Hector was more suited to a def mid role 2bh. 2bh after cormacks big interview from red TV I'm expecting to see a fair few recruits we have never heard off. He was very big on talking up the expansion to our European scouting network in that interview. Signing Shaun Rooney I can get behind. Good engine, strong competitor and gets a lot of joy in this league. Big cunt too which doesn't hurt and we need a rb with Ramsey off. It does hurt he's ooc either. Right now he defo improves our squad.
  25. I came here to post pretty much this. I've always tried to 5ake club specs off when it comes to the internationals and the wee rat hun bastard has been playing well. I would have chucked him in, why the fuck do we need 4 goalies?
