  1. I think that's a bit unfair. A lot of people have busy lives that are usually focused entirely round their kids. Free time is a very finite resource to them and going to watch a team that isn't playing very well isn't as desirable as it once would have been.
  2. At least we have a bit of time on our hands given our first game of the season will actually be the league opener. Must have been Mcinnes's first season we did that come to think of it. Regardless I doubt this will make much difference in his return. New owners are unlikely to care about a 31 yo player in his last year that wants away.
  3. It's a vintage thistle bottle job
  4. Or not, finished 3-1 and going to ET. Scottish football, never change. Mon the staggies
  5. So dirty
  6. Got this on the radio, sounds a very José performance from Roma
  7. Or maybe not. It would be such a coup if we got him on a permanent.
  8. Looks like I'm due the pie serving Rico
  9. Yeah I don't give a flying fuck how we get on at the San giro 2bh. Absolutely agree with giving bavidge a start, let's see how kid handles it. The interesting game of the weekend for me is the Killie county game on Sunday as I would much prefer Killie to be put into the playoffs than RC. 2 reasons, fuck the plastic pitch and having top flight football in the highlands is so good for the region (I live in Inverness for those that don't know). I will be keeping an eye on the Edinburgh Derby though and massively rooting for the spoon burners. It would be so funny if hibs pipped them to 4th, my neighbour is a jambo and I would have a fucking field day with him. I suspect we will probably lose tomorrow, celtic will likely be back to full strength with the cup final approaching and I suspect our squad will be somewhat jaded after midweek celebrations.
  10. Nonsense! I'm waaaaaay too old to be going to nightclubs now
  11. It's defo the latter imo. It was the club that tweeted his "we'll see you in Europe" message not the boy himself. He loves it, he's staying. I would almost, almost, put the mortgage on it
  12. Lets be honest, he's a brilliant player but not going to get into the first team at anfield. Cheeky 500k bid might just get him...... He clearly loves it at Pittodrie
  13. Hope you've got the humble pie ready to guzzle Rico
  14. Hard to argue with that 2bh
  15. Levitt only signed a two year deal and with them going down they will defo be looking to move him on, he will be on a fairly healthy wage as well 2bh. I've honestly not seen enough of him to comment but I know he did well last season.
  16. You just pipe down captain killjoy and let me just bask naively in the possibility that Luca modric mk2 is staying another year
  17. This sounds like he might be staying
  18. Ooo, good question SeeBass. 11 maybe but don't quote me on it.
  19. Shinnie being on for a perfect hatrick is through the looking glass stuff. Hayes btw. He's 36 in July. Has anyone ever seen a player not lose their pace into their mid 30-s like he has? He's lost half a yard, tops.
  20. Just watched Robsons presser. Looked pretty pissed off that the Devlin signing has been leaked.
  21. Naysmith. And in fairness he did a job when he came in
  22. Fwiw I don't think we have seen anywhere near enough of Roberts or myslovic to make any kind of accurate assessment. We do need to shed not hacking it wingers/attackers though and that's before you even take back into consideration Besuijen coming back. Interesting to see what happens there. It's easily forgotten that Stewart is still our player though I would be shocked to see him play again, he will surely be staying south of the border. It's such a big window but if we can somehow keep Clarkson and Pollock (I'm confident Shinnie will be done) that's 2 more spine players. What are folks thoughts on Scales? It's tempting to want to keep him (if for continuity more than anything else) and he has been playing reasonably well. If the price was right I would be on board I guess but I'm not going to be devastated if we don't keep him.
  23. Please don't apply for Mowbrays job. TIA. Signed, every Aberdeen fan that has ever existed.
  24. Richardson looked a bit better positionally I thought but overall looked a bit sluggish. Morris put a shift in but other than that offered little. Helen on Wednesday is now going to be a nervy game and their tails will be up getting a draw at San giro.
  25. Equally though it's a hell of a player to have come off the bench.
