  1. A guy then?
  2. sums it up nicely for me
  3. Och i will always want us to win the only thing that has really changed is how little affect on my life it has now if we don't
  4. Aye clarkson was decent, way more than just a big lump that CB seems to have alluded to. Miles better than fallon or maggenis
  5. Och I'm not paying slightest bit of attention to that hun prick. I think the powers that be will push as hard as they can to keep the huns in the league but that is out with their control and they know it. Time will tell if the fans are going to have to make good on their threats to walk away

Robertson o Sullivan at 2-2, this one is going to be close
  8. Words could not describe the happiness i would feel at seeing diamond at utd
  9. I think Hodgson is more likely to get screwed by players and fans not being impressed than by his ability. I've looked but i can't find it again but i read earlier that hodgson at one point got switzerland to 3rd in the fifa world rankings! Thats mental if true!
  10. Nail, head, nicely hit exciting end to the season in england
  11. Liverpool fans i know said to me they felt it was too big a job for him. Most were raging at the treatment of benitez as well which didn't help and add to that he was seen as the hicks/gillete appointment. Hindsight is wonderful but looking back he never had much of a chance at anfield with so many factors going against him. That hodgson is better qualified for the role is a no brainer, i really hope that england fans respond the same way as Liverpool fans did. Hows the news being taken down south manc?
  12. He was on a sticky wicket from the word go there. Fans didnt want him and were very vocal about it
  13. Thats a cracking display, as you say Kow fair play to them. The wee grave stones in the foreground are a particularly nice touch
  14. Fuck Would much rather redknapp got it. tactically clueless, his best ability is spending money well. Cant do that internationally and i think he would struggle as a result. Hodgson is the opposite, good at working with what he's got and getting them to play well. Hallmark of his best teams is they are greater than the sum of their parts, knows international management too. Only downside i can see on woy is that the players might be unimpressed as he's not a 'big name'
  15. shocking I know we have nothing to play for but...........................

He didn't play well bar the last frame really gs, Higgins was just utterly awful.
  17. I normally give not one fuck about an old form score unless there is a benefit to Aberdeen fromone of the Fuckers winning...... Been a while since that has been the case. I truly hope the tims take them to the cleaners tomorrow, it will be the straw that breaks the camels back for so many huns

11-4 hendry. Its more down to Higgins ineptitude than hendry playing well the past two frames

Apologies if there is already a snooker thread, can't be arsed looking truth be told. Anyone been watching the world championships? Hendry v matchfixer and hendry is 7-3 at moment and MF is playing very poorly.......... makes you wonder if he has money on it! Hendry played some cracking stuff in the opening session but the second has been riddled with mistakes from both players. It would be great to see Hendry get an 8th title, not sure how likely that is right enough.
  20. Pep Guardiola will stand down as Barcelona manager at the end of the season after deciding not to renew his rolling one-year contract. The 41-year-old, who made 479 appearances for Barca between 1990 and 2001, was appointed in 2008 and has led the Catalan club to 13 trophies. But they look set to miss out to Real Madrid in La Liga and were knocked out of the Champions League by Chelsea. It is understood that Guardiola will take a year-long break from the game. An 1100 BST news conference has been called at the Nou Camp, where he is expected to explain the decision. Guardiola spent three hours with Barca president Sandro Rosell on Thursday and informed his players on Friday morning. He is the most successful coach in Barca history, with three league titles, two Champions Leagues and a Copa del Rey among his haul. The former Spain midfielder has overseen the rise of three-time world player of the year Lionel Messi, Xavi and Andres Iniesta, while bringing Cesc Fabregas back to the club from Arsenal. I reckon wenger will be high on the barca shortlist
  21. What was said?
  22. It boggles the mind how anyone can perceive any of the sanctions as unfair.
