  1. Dunno about mom but he had a good game. His distribution is really good at times, lasted a lovely ball down the right for Logan to run onto. Mcginn's goal was a belter
  2. Formation today is fucking bizarre, Hayes is playing as a cm

You should check out true detective Andrew
  4. Fucking farce
  5. I had the perfect angle for the free kick at love street, right in line. RIP Hicham, I did love watching you play.
  6. in car main car then out on a stag do in glasgow 2-0 Mcginn Is Low injured? Thought he would have been in or about a bit more with the injury to Flood. I have liked the cut of his jib when he has played and he combines well with a very overworked Ryan Jack. I would go Brown Logan Taylor Considine (sorry Manc I like Considine at CB) Hayes Jack Low Pawlett Smith Mcginn Rooney Playing players out of position rarely goes well and in my opinion that is the most balanced side we can put out right now.
  7. I'm starting to think goodwillie isn't going to work out. He's clearly talented but he struggles to fit into the system and I would rather see LS getting a chance. Pawlett has flattered to deceive a lot this season also, I think he is better suited to playing on the wing but given mcginn is the best crosser in our side it's understandable why he is out wide. That said we are missing his goals. I was very surprised we only made one sub on Saturday and how late on it came. I really like Smith though and in all honesty I think pawlett should make way for him for a few games, Smith is much better suited to the behind the striker role than DG or PP
  8. That's a sore one to take, it was a close, open game but i did think we had edged it.

    Very much this
  10. I saw the under 20's defeat county 0-2 in the cup a few months back. I thought we looked alright but it was hard to really judge as the opposition made little attempt to try and win the game. Gibbons was a player that stood out a little, though ironically, that said, it was done so in a less than noticeable capacity. He didn't give the ball away, really understood his position in the team and was always available for a pass. I think he would need to bulk up a wee bit as he looked very slight but defo a player of promise I thought.
  11. top 4 win today, piles the pressure on to keep up! BIG game tomorrow
  12. I can't see us not moving now truth be told. As i understand it (and feel free to correct me if I am mistaken) the council is prepared to chip in to a new build and that with the dosh from the sale of pittodrie we move to a new ground without really spending anything. To redevelop pittodrie would only cost us money, and a fair old whack of it too. There is just no way the board will sanction putting us back into debt just as we finally remove that very sizeable shackle from the club, especially as there is such an appealing alternative.
  13. This is a really good watch, we scored some cracking goals last season. I would love to see Mcginn getting his scoring boots on again, he's only scored once in the league and his goal input is greatly missed. Also kinda miss Vernon a little, Goodwillie is as yet to set the heather alight despite having more about him as a player. Vernon was always good for a goal.
  14. I went on players I have seen Jess, Snelders, Shearer, Anderson, Grant, Booth, Mcginn, Stavrum, Zerouali, Richardson They could play a 1-1-2-3-3
  15. Word on the street up here in the summer was that he wants to come to Aberdeen. We should offer to pay up his contract in January, they might take it
  16. To give that more context http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/30016946
  17. Not only investment but investment from a source that isn't looking to line their pockets. Fantastic news for the club

I went to stjames years ago, mate was studying down there and managed to get tickets for a eufa cup game against Ferencvarosi. Watching that reminded me of just how little space is around the ground, it's slap bang in the centre of the city. It must be a nightmare keeping home and away fans separate there, being match commander when sunderland come to town must be an utter head fuck
  19. Completely agree, they have a record of being shit coming back from Europe as well. The only concern I have is guidetti was cup tied yesterday so likely didn't even travel. Our defence is going to be tested by him, i suspect, but ultimately the game will be won in midfield. Flood and jack play well we will win on Sunday. This is it, we have to have a no fear approach.
  20. They're there for the taking end off!
  21. Macleod in ahead of Jack is a fucking disgrace, end off.
  22. It will get a lot more attention globally in comparison to the last time the of played simply because it has some rarity value now. Shot in the arm my arse though
  23. Well when you say more trouble than its worth i was thinking you were meaning all the shit in the press, the atmosphere in glasgow build up to the game, happy or angry huns being generally hunnish afterwards etc. Can't really think of anything else that would make playing a very weak most hated team at a neutral venue in a cup semi not worth it TBH
  24. It's got loads to do with it. I've lived in Glasgow and o/f propaganda is far more in your face down there.
  25. We really just needed to sort out out defence and two clean sheets in a row is certainly encouraging from that point of view. The Tim's a week Sunday will be a very good indication of where we are.
