  1. Baker Hughes 10k losing some of the limelight I see http://www.greatrun.org/great-aberdeen-run Thats the 2nd new 'Great Run' in Scotland (Stirling Marathon being the other) and finally taking the events out of Glasgow & Edinburgh Both routes go past Pittodrie too. Just watch BT and co try and arrange a sunday TV match for the same day
  2. Saw Jonathan Pie tonight at the Glasgow Stand. Excellent stuff and hopefully it will lead to even more from him Australian Pink Floyd at the Hydro this Friday
  3. Should this not be in its proper place? http://www.donstalk.co.uk/index.php/topic,13607.4860.html
  4. Stood in the middle of the old Eden Park Terraces waiting for the 2005 Tri nations final to start and this came on the big screen. Decided then and there to get the fuck out of Auckland and made a proper go of Kiwiland
  5. more effective than Anne Robinson was back in 2000
  6. Killie game moved to Tuesday 6th December December now looks like this 3rd - Sevco (Away) 6th - Killie (Home) 10th - St Johnstone (Home) 13th - Motherwell (Home) 17th - Ross County (Away) 23rd - Motherwell (Away) 27th - Hamilton (Home) 30th - Hearts (Away)
  7. Think you are the only person I've seen complaining about it being shifted back to the original St Andrews Weekend date. Another example Cockwomble and his cronies having to backtrack after trying to copy Englandshire
  8. Bobby Vee - 73 And Pete Burns - 57 Unfortunate quote from BBC radio 'Vee's big break came when he was asked to stand in for Buddy Holly following a plane crash'
  9. BT will have the final say unfortunately but 3pm looks the the most logical They have nothing scheduled for that day and are up against 3 English premier games on sky which kick off at 12pm, 215pm, & 430pm
  10. The squash'd is allegedly natural sugars and a tiny black bottle is so much easier to carry around in the backpack than a bag of lemons. If we want to further add to the argument we could also bring up the man-made additives put in the water supplies of many towns & cities (such as fluoride). Whatever method(s) gets people drinking more water and away from the Sunny Delights, Coca-Colas etc (particularly the diet brands with their fucked up sweeteners) should be encouraged.
  11. Given Last seasons scottish cup final was split 50-50 there has been some sort of precedent set for finals involving one OF team. Of course Scottish football has never been one for consistency
  12. You do know that adding lemon or lime juice is also adding sugar? Adding 10-20mm of a cordial to 500mm of water whether its manmade or not has minimal impact on the benefits. Now drinking said cordial undiluted on the other hand.......
  13. I now buy these little Robinsons squash'd as I also found water extremely boring. Makes it much easier to drink more of it when you have even the slightest hint of flavour.
  14. Reynolds seemed to be doing his best to fill the traditional Jackie McNamara role in a Dons semi-final
  15. 16,183 attendance. A mere 35,880 empty seats
  16. Lucky the linesman is a casual stroller
  17. Fucking long ball game. That's a sign this team is out of ideas and Morton will be loving it. Odds on a rejected dons player to score the winner as in 2008?
  18. deeply concerned. Despite all the early pressure and double crossbar, morton have not been rattled. They have a gameplan and its clear the dons defence dont like players running at them. Also concerned at hayes little tantrum just before ht when the counter attack was on but no one was looking for the pass
  19. Half times WITHOUT cheer-leaders
  20. Don't see why they should hold the dons in any high regard. Especially given the Dons semi-final record since I took an interest in football reads as follows P - 15 W - 4 (Sevco, Arabs, Hibs, St Johnstone) L - 11 (Arabs x 4, Tic x 3, St Jonstone, Hibs, Queen of the South, Hearts)
  21. That is the part I have the biggest problem with. 'Your honour, Ladies & Gentleman of the Jury,, according to this bloke she liked this sort of thing (WITH HIM!), and she liked this sort of thing with that guy over there. Therefore that shows she has a history of certain sexual preferences and should any man choose to do the same with her in the future they can presume she automatically consents to it.' As Alex brooker pointed out on the Last Leg, Ched Evans Fiance's father funded his defence campaign so last night their celebration would be for clearing his future son in law of raping the woman he cheated on his daughter for. I fear we are edging towards Sharia law when women must find 4 trustworthy men to testify on her behalf.
  22. Admits he lied to get the girls hotel room key Admits he never spoke to her before, during or after sex Admits he left via the fire escape And yet the judge ruled the girl had given 'drunken consent'? That is a fucked up precedent to set for any future cases Hope he never kicks a ball again and hope his lawyers, who's conduct is a fine example of pure evil end up going financially bankrupt, after all their moral currency vanished a long time ago
  23. i fear the eyes will look towards york city
  24. Not anymore
  25. Seems to me to be like the Twin Brother of the SNP which the SNPs family would rather no one knew about A google search will take you to their website if you want to find out more. I have visions of them being like those 'preachers' you occasionally see in town centres spouting apparent religious scripts to no-one in particular (There was usually one outside Aberdeen's M&S at the weekend when I was at Uni)
