  1. Haven't seen the highlights but his booking looked softish...a few spetic players did something similar without getting booked, I assume that Nilsen was already on Walsh's case verbally so he was itching to book him.
  2. Left (the) foot...there's your answer
  3. Fucking expensive for the Championship
  4. Guess you are saying a clean sheet for the first time since 2001 is referring to our games against septic
  5. Exactly...how many times, in the last couple of seasons, have we played teams who desperately needed a win and their next fixture was against us? Really hoping Dunfermline are on a good run, at the moment.
  6. Yet fairly recently you posted saying you wanted the new club to win a game.
  7. We can only hope Killie's manager bounce has run it's course because, come the split if they are within 6/7 points I wouldn't fancy us in a relegation play-off fight.
  8. Is Frame carrying an injury...was surprised when he didn't start at Tannadice and, as you suggest putting Molloy at CB and bringing in frame would be the sensible way to go.
  9. I tried to book the supporters bus, logged on at the appropriate time - 5pm yesterday - but by the time I'd scrolled through the steps (say 1 minute) found out it was already sold out. It's as if some had had a head start. So looks like the train and B&B as there aren't any trains back until Sunday.
  10. Hopefully McIntyre's injury isn't too serious but he was holding his hamstring which isn't a good sign. Bilalovic staying on beyond 45 mins was baffling...his miss in the first couple of minutes was shockingly bad - although Nisbet effort in the 2nd half was it's equal - he worked hard, chased back, helped out Malloy but whenever he got the ball he didn't have a fucking clue what to do and inevitably screwed it up. As Jute says Lazatic should concentrate on playing his own game rather that try to rile up opposition defenders. Geiger wasn't as effective as against Dundee. Molloy was excellent - I'd guess the reason he didn't get forward as often as Frame does was because Bilalovic was ahead of him and there was an excellent chance he'd miscontrol the ball/pass it to a United player so he tended to play safe. Devlin was hot and cold tonight...made a couple of terrible errors but each time recovered brilliantly. He needs a break but unfortunately the way we keep losing CBs it won't come any time soon. Milne was fine today although he should have scored but then heading really isn't his forte. Nilsen did well when he came on - thought it was a strange decision as Malloy can play CB and Frame was on the bench - but he competed well in the air. Shinnie was very good today (apart from the time he broke up one of their attacks, tried to play the ball to Malloy and sent it straight to a DU player!).
  11. No because he was blind...it's a pun on your "I can't see anything other than an Aberdeen victory", difficult I know..
  12. Because you are Ray Charles?
  13. Livi 2 up with 10 men (presumably sent off for scoring against sevco)
  14. Wouldn't disagree but what I was trying to say (I'm an old guy so try to bear with me) was that I thought Gieger gave his all today even when he was gassed towards the end and that I thought that Shinnie wouldn't have produced the same intensity today as he did in midweek.
  15. Well, personally thought Geiger gave it his all today...even when he was completely gassed he was still trying to get back to help out Frame. And yet again you made your normal "sarcastic" remark about Shinnie - do you really think if he'd been available today he'd have had anything like the influence he had on Wednesday? As you say neither Olusaya nor Keskinen can play fitba, nor can Lazetic and whenever he gets the ball to feet, neither can Milne. So we've 4 players who don't have the basic attributes of being a fitba player. It's like watching Scotland against Wales tonight in the 6N...went 26-23 up they punt it up from the KO and our guy drops it - you are a rugby player surely the first thing you learn is to catch a ball! We have too many players who can't do the basics.
  16. Plus DU away and septic at home, which takes us to the split and if Killie/St M have closed the gap I wouldn't bet on us not having an extra 2 games this season
  17. Would like to see Loban instead of Milanovic, knows how to defend, track players runs, likes to get forward and puts crosses into the box...everything Milanovic can't do.
  18. Does Geiger's red card means he misses just the cup games? Won't Shinnie be suspended for the next couple of league games?
  19. Don't know why you hate to say it. They are a good side and if they didn't pass around so much even when a man down could have given us much more trouble. Agree with you that the 2nd red is poor (although I remember we had a CB a few years back (Devlin? partnered McKenna) who was given a red when he fouled a guy who was actually moving towards the touchline near the centre circle), anyone who has seen Olusanya running with the ball (unless he's up against Ruby!), would know he's not going to be able to control it for 40-50 metres.
  20. Aye, back in my day a 3 week ban would have been served by now
  21. Mason89 will be impressed with your sentiments!
  22. Is Shinnie available for the cup game?
  23. Alfie Dorrington scores for Man City... unfortunately he plays for Salford City. Still the last cup o.g. he scored had a happy ending
  24. B.U.S has already stated he doesn't want the Norwegian and will have a "Sack the manager" thread up once the appointment is confirmed and before we've played our first game.
  25. KO time 7:30 on Saturday 7th March, should we beat Motherwell.
