  1. Always a tough fixture, almost like they raise their game when playing us? Or perhaps we show too much respect, either way, it's never easy. They're fucking honking though, truly mince, so no doubt we'll lose 2-1 or manage a 1-1- draw
  2. Another 2 Year Contract Extension for Derek & Tony. Bid of 10 Million accepted for McKenna from Chelsea, Hector coming in the opposite direction as part of the deal. Alan Gow REALLY has been spotted in Greggs. Shaun Maloney performs a dramatic U-Turn several years later and signs a years contract as a member of the playing squad. Has to be one of those.
  3. Never hidden the fact that I think this boy is incredibly overrated, and if he did go there, he would weaken them, he's a big step down from Jack, Kamara & an ageing Davis. He has time on his side and could of course improve and become a more complete player, but I simply don't see it at this moment in time. I think the compensation we paid for him was about right at that time, he's probably added another 500k to that. I'd be looking for 1 Million plus a sell on clause for the future, but if it's those hun bastards that are genuinely after him, we should be quadrupling our asking price.
  4. I can honestly say that I have a hell of a lot of hate. I don't like people nowadays, I think they're all selfish, egotistical wankers, people desperate for attention and approval that they portray themselves as someone they're not on Social Media etc... just for the " Likes " Everyone seems to have adopted a smug attitude and you notice it on the roads, Shopping Centres etc... Took my old man to do his weekly shopping, drove into the car park, looking for a space, then somecunt walks out in the middle of the car park with a trolley and carries on walking up the middle whilst we're in disbelief at a snails pace, I eventually peeped the horn and the scowl he gave us was incredible, imagine a car being on the road eh It's a truly horrible place to be these days, I struggle on a daily basis. ( I didn't read the entirety of your initial post, so if I have skewed from then point, then I apol.....fuck off )
  5. Another correct scoreline, should start putting money on it! Anyway, relatively comfortable game, referee was abysmal though, for both teams it has to be said. Considine my MOTM, 2-3 excellent defensive blocks and a very good finish for his goal. Hedges & Leigh were also very good. No poor players today really. 3 wins in a row, 7 scored and one conceded, the one conceded was a very debatable Penalty today. Fingers crossed this is us for the rest of the season, we have bodies back, Wilson, Gleeson, Vyner not even in the squad, so we can only get stronger, numbers wise. Only downside is that's it's 2 weeks tomorrow until our next fixture.
  6. I'd be very surprised if he went for 2 Strikers again, but against a team like County, it could work well. They seem to start slowly but grow more into the game, they've came back from goals down to draw & win, but also took a couple of heavy defeats. I think we'll take 3 points as well, and would like to see a similar 11 on the pitch. Ross County 1 vs 3 Aberdeen ( Cosgrove x 2, McLennan )
  7. Got the result correct, just not all of the scorers! It's another 3 points, Motherwell winning keeps them 3rd but I am hoping they fade away, they normally do, would probably hurt them if Robinson is approached and subsequently, takes, the Hearts job. 2 games in a row were Ferguson has been the best player? Never saw the game, just going by Social Media, perhaps the lad reads this forum and is determined to prove me wrong Hopefully that gives Main a shot in the arm, but I highly doubt we'll go with 2 out and out Strikers again, so he'll probably be back to being on the bench, unless Cosgrove is injured, which hopefully, he is not. Back to back wins, a full week off, hopefully that is the corner turned and we can carry on picking up these 3 points and get some daylight from the rest.
  8. Indeed, Alessio has them well organised, and that means it's up to us to break them down, something we've struggled with in these types of games. However, I am quietly confident of a good, comfortable win. I'd be tempted to let Bryson miss this out, if there's any doubt whatsoever, why risk him? Lewis Logan Considine McKenna Leigh Vyner Gleeson Hedges Ferguson McGinn Cosgrove Should be enough there to break them down. Aberdeen 3 vs 0 Kilmarnock ( Cosgrove, Hedges, Ferguson )
  9. Reading the reports on Social Media though, Hamilton only had one effort on goal? Highlights suggest otherwise, 2 good saves from Lewis in the 1st Half. It's a much needed 3 points and we should have won by more, but we'll take it, we really need to go on a good run now and put some distance between ourselves and the rest, once we overtake Motherwell that is. Good to see some good individual performances also, Ferguson at the heart of most things, looked again like he was playing a more advanced midfield role, has to be where he plays all of the time, as he's ineffectual in the deeper role. Let Gleeson & Bryson partner each other in the deeper roles, keep Ferguson further forward.
  10. I don't see it as lazy scouting at all, he's a good full back that has plenty of experience in this division now and is, whether on merit or not, an International. Would be available on a Free Transfer as well, we can still bring in a Ball/Vyner type player to cover injury/suspension. But I do agree that he'd probably prefer a move to England, be it a Championship/League 1 team. I just think we should at the very least, talk to him. He would definitely be an improvement on Logan at this time.
  11. Is there a stream?
  12. Stephen O'Donnell is out of contract at Kilmarnock at the end of the season, and whilst I appreciate he's not an International class Right Back, as his Caps suggest, he'd certainly be an improvement on Logan, who sadly has regressed badly. I'd be hoping we approach him at least.
  13. Have the pleasure of playing 5 a sides tomorrow night, Kick off at 7pm, will likely miss this one, maybe catch the last 10-15 minutes. Hoping for a roaring reaction and a comfortable 4-0 win. The reality though, we will probably grind out a shitfest 1-1 and our manager will be pleased with the reaction from the players.
  14. Fair enough Cracking pictures as per usual min. You've fairly got about, if there's any down this way, and you plan on doing them, you'll need to give me a shout, long time no see.
  15. Fa you calling nae young?
  16. Scottish Sun ( I know, I know ) reporting that we are looking to add Gary O'Neill or Youseff Mulumbu, to help ease the Midfield Injury situation. Apparently McInnes has already held talks with O'Neill.
  17. Correct tlg. We're all pretty adamant on that, the only way he will leave now is if he leaves himself, he won't be sacked. I can't get my head around the reasoning from those that want him to stay, not sure why they're afraid of change, it's part and parcel of Football, a new Manager could come in and excel or he could come in and regress us further, that's the chance you need to take, if it did go south, you then move that Manager on and recruit again, but you'd need to give him at least a full season imo, you will see then, after 2 Transfer Windows getting his own Players and implementing his ideas on the Pitch. However, in the meantime, there are things that McInnes can change in the now, the likes of the Captaincy, Joe Lewis is our best player, I'd argue that he is anyway, but he's not a Captain, our style of Football, he had us playing relatively decent Football in the first few years, probably up until we lost Hayes, McGinn, Rooney etc.... But we've gone to monotonous, uninspiring, dire and boring Football this last 18-24 Months, we've shown very brief flashes that we're a formidable outfit that can play nice Football, but 90% of the time, it's the opposite. I have also stated previously, and this one is a bug bear of mine and might not even be the case, but sure seems like it, is his lack of motivational skills, we never look " Up " for games, does that makes sense? Again yesterday, I noticed it straight away, we were utterly passive and cowardly, nobody looked up for it, was the same in the Semi Final against Motherwell when we got horsed 3-0, they were pumped, they were harrying, we were afraid and treating the ball like a grenade. It's something I think we lack, putting teams on the back foot and getting in their faces. You can do that as well as play Football. Anyway, fuck it, there's definitely a change in the air with the fans, they made themselves heard yesterday and McInnes looked a bit annoyed by that, we're getting articles in Newspapers now questioning him and people are starting to take notice, this is something he's not used too, not since he's been here anyway, lets see what he's made off, he can shirk away or he can take it on the chin and silence all the doubters.
  18. Nonsense Dan, we were as fucking turgid in the 2nd Half as we were the in the 1st. The only difference was Celtic taking their foot off the gas, dropping from 2nd Gear into 1st. Another completely unacceptable performance and more bullshit from McInnes leading up to the game. Need to get in their faces, they need to know they're in a game etc... etc.... Leigh & Vyner were excellent last week, no escaping that, but today showed the reality, they should stick to defending. Considine exposed yet again up against Forrest, shouldn't be happening because we've seen the effects of that for years now, Cosgrove was honking, aided by the fact we never played it in or around him, McGinn, not cupping your ears at the supporters this week are you, you prick? McKenna & Devlin? Pair of fucking shitebags, allowing players to stroll passed them without making an effort to win the ball, Gallagher, again, worked last week and he was good, today he was worse than Amateur level, disgraceful effort. I could go on, but the bottom line is, they are carrying out what they've been instructed all week in training by that absolute fraud McCowardice. His relatively decent spell here is ending extremely sour and he even had the fucking audacity to look annoyed at being booed off the pitch at HT, watch his smug face when he's making his way to the Tunnel. Yet again, I find myself fucking apoplectic because of that coward. Perhaps I shouldn't give a fuck, and not let it ruin my day
  19. Saw that shitebag of a manager running toward and down the tunnel there, sincerely hope he keeps running and ends up back in Paisley/Glasgow. Fucking disgrace.
  20. Christie is suspended for them, only just realised this. Meaning that we'll likely see that prick Rogic take his place, and he loves a goal against us, sincerely hope we've learned to close him down FFS. In terms of ourselves, do we keep it as it was last week? It worked pretty well to be fair, or do we move Leigh back to LB and bring in Bryson? I actually thought Gallagher was effective last week as well and would like to see him keep his place, but I think Hedges could be useful in a game like this as well, it's really difficult. Lewis Logan Devlin McKenna Leigh Vyner Gallagher McGinn Bryson Wilson Cosgrove Sorry Considine, that'd be my preferred 11, I think Devlin & McKenna should remain as the CB duo and the thought of Considine again at LB, against Sinclair/Forrest/Elyouossi gives me the fear. As Livingston showed, and Hibs to an extent ( With their 1-1 draw with them ) they can certainly be beaten. We need to be right up for it, get in their faces and defend well, no silly mistakes, whilst at the same time, being effective at the top end of the pitch. Fucking hope we turn them over, 3 years without a win against them at Pittodrie I read earlier, not really good enough. Today is the day we change that! COYR
  21. May as well continue on from my negativity pre-Motherwell! That turned against me abruptly, fingers crossed for the same outcome. We will get pumped 3-0 and put up as meek a fight as you're likely to see COYR
  22. Campbell, as well as Ferguson, will only get better learning from the experienced players, the likes of Gleeson & Bryson, even Barry Robson, and the Manager himself? I put a question mark there as I don't really have any memory of McInnes as a player, I just know he was a Central Midfielder and he was a Captain at a few clubs. Campbell is a good height, probably could do with a bit more in terms of build, but he does the basics well enough and that's a good start, he keeps it very simple. He will be fine as the years progress. But for the time being, I'd have Bryson, Ferguson, Gleeson, even Vyner, ahead of him in the middle of the park. I echo LA-DON's sentiments though, regarding Leigh at LB, I think that's important.
  23. I personally believe that Ferguson is in the same League as the Wright's/McLennan's/Anderson's. I don't think he should be a starter every week and think he's vastly overrated by many people, a lot of it down to the header vs Rangers and Overhead Kick vs Burnley, other than that, he's contributed very little over a 90 minute game and you don't hear people talking about him these days, do you? Purely because he's not scoring goals. He's a petulant little shit at times and gives away pathetic fouls, his passing leaves a lot to be desired and he's quite sluggish. Having said that, I do believe he can develop into a good solid SPFL Midfielder, he's still young, he has a good physique and hopefully he can learn from the likes of Bryson & Gleeson, 2 very experienced Midfielders. I don't think he's been helped in the sense that he's played a hell of a lot of Games, even last season, we had opportunities to rest him, but we didn't. As I said, that's just my opinion, I have been very consistent with it regarding Ferguson, but Greg Leigh, a Left Back, and Zak Vyner, a CB/RB, showed more composure, better discipline and played better Footaball in one game today, than Ferguson has in lots.
  24. Just home from one of those fucking Pathetic Gender Reveal Parties ( It was my younger Brother's though, so had to go ) I managed to watch the first 65 minutes though, and I am very pleased that I got my prediction all wrong. I thought we'd be bullied and outplayed today, but after the opening 5 minutes, we were by far the better team, not sure where Robinson is getting the whole " We totally dominated the 1st Half " from. Like everyone else I am sure, I was scratching my head at the 11, but it's clear that McInnes did in fact work on something different on the training ground and we reaped the reward for it. The goals were all excellent, Cosgrove in general was very good, Vyner & Leigh in Midfield were also very good. Gallagher buzzed around and was pretty decent, as was McGinn, and I thought Devlin & McKenna were very solid. Everyone was good, even Logan after the brainfart that gifted them a Penalty, which was a clear dive by the way, replays back it up. All in all, well done McInnes and the Players, that's FAR more like it, we mixed it up well today, some good phases of play in amongst the long balls to Cosgrove. I really hope we build on this though and don't revert to type!
  25. I reckon they'll outplay and outfight us, sadly. They will be " Up " for it, whereas McInnes will try and keep it calm and slow and deliberate, every time we do that, we get turned over, it never works. Hopefully we have a few more bodies back and the squad looks a bit stronger, but on the day, I fear a 3/4-0 defeat. I think they'll snuff out our long ball approach ( Aimless punts to Cosgrove ) and cause us problems at the other end. I would hope we have used this break to work on something different and something unpredictable and that takes Motherwell by surprise and in turn results in a very important 3 points, but sadly I can't see McInnes changing his approach. Of course I'd love to be proved wrong.
