  1. Our record down there isn't great at all, is it? I can't see us going at them despite their piss poor start to the season, just not McInnes' style I'm afraid. He will make it harder than it has to be, but nobody will care if we get into the Semi Final. Hopefully they get beat today as well, get their fans even more restless heading into Wednesday. Cosgrove will come in for Main, that's the only guaranteed change I can think of, maybe Logan for Vyner too, can't understand why he made that change yesterday unless Vyner was carrying a knock, or he was trying to get minutes into Logan. I'd take yesterdays shit all day long if it meant the same outcome! Lewis Logan Devlin Considine Leigh Ferguson Campbell McLennan Wilson Hedges Cosgrove
  2. Watched it there on Alba & it was certainly a lot worse than it sounded at the time. Just a totally inept performance with absolutely zero cohesion, we don't have a particular style of Football. I would have thought playing Gallagher RWB would have made more sense than playing McGinn there. Livingston cut us open too many times with absolute ease and Erskine's fresh air swipe in particular was criminal, thankfully for us. The midfield got absolutely bullied by Bartley, and Main offered the square root of fuck all, he had plenty of balls played up to him, head/chest and feet and he pretty much lost possession every time, granted he never got service from the wide areas in and around the box, but his overall play was fucking abysmal. We are going to suffer a doing at some point, today could quite easily have been 4 or 5 in Livingston's favour, there keeper had literally fuck all to do ( other than pick the ball out of the net ) and they can absolutely feel aggrieved, the fact we've been outplayed by Livingston is pretty disappointing. However, we take the Clean Sheet and the 3 points, guess for the time being that's all that matters.
  3. Sounded like an absolute horror show yet we come away with 3 points and a clean sheet. The fans certainly made themselves heard and I sincerely hope it's a wake up call to the Manager that we can't continue to put in these types of performances, we are capable of much better yet our Manager persists. I get we have Injury issues, but so do they and they still outfought and outplayed us, but as Slim alluded too, they are powderpuff up front, thankfully.
  4. All Livingston 10 minutes into the 2nd Half. Fans getting really frustrated, can hear it as plain as day.
  5. All in all, sounds like we've been horrendous and Livingston have missed several clear cut chances, yet we're 1-0 up. Fingers crossed he doesn't try this game management pish now and instead pushes for a second. Hate having no stream, bollocks.
  6. Can't get any streams to work and I have tried 3 separate sites.
  7. Ojo out for 3 months and Bryson out for at least 4 weeks FFS. Gallagher is available though. McInnes said they had 13 players at training, not sure how but there we have it, not good.
  8. No doubt in my mind that if he gets back to full fitness and does agree a deal here, he'd instantly be our best CB. I sincerely hope that everything works out for the guy.
  9. Wouldn't like to guess the 11 to be honest, has there been any updates on Ojo & Bryson at all? I know Gallagher's came back more positive than first feared. If Ojo is missing and Campbell is fit, I'd imagine Campbell will replace him, maybe Wilson in for Bryson, but more advanced and not so much box to box. Hoping Cosgrove pulls his finger out, been rather poor overall the last 2 games, but I still wouldn't be tempted to drop him for Main. Would like to see Logan back in for Vyner, I think Logan has a better delivery and is probably better at getting up and down the wing, more natural to him than it is to Vyner, Vyner is a CB in my opinion, but can clearly fill in at RB if needed. Don't think there will be much in the game, will plump for 1-0 Dons, Hedges t score again.
  10. Badly lacking a Stephen Gleeson, sooner he's back and fully fit, the better.
  11. Indeed, but Brown trusted Fraser and he was one of the first names on the team sheet, McLennan will only get better by playing consistently & also learning from the likes of McGinn. The boy has plenty of ability, he just need to sort out his decision making, that's what is letting him down badly.
  12. Probably his main flaw. He does certain things right, and he's got good pace, can hit the ball etc... but most of the time the boy does everything correctly then fails to move the ball on and ends up losing possession or giving himself too much to do and runs it out. The only plus here is that he's still learning and if he nips that in the bud now, he'll be a good player, ready made replacement for McGinn.
  13. Pretty much agree with the majority of the comments thus far. We looked okay up until they equalised, which was a shocker from Lewis, can't really defend him. Second game in a row where Cosgrove has been very poor, Ferguson was largely anonymous, only remember him for a late free kick that forced a save and then him wasting about a minute with more petulant nonsense trying to take the ball off a St Johnstone player in injury time. The subs made very little impact, Wilson perhaps at least moving the ball forward but still not having enough time really, to influence the game. Bryson, Ojo and Gallagher all potentially injured for a period now as well, might come to nothing or might be several weeks. All in all, very poor result and performance against a team that are really struggling this season, Stevie May was fucking garbage and it feels good writing this knowing he's not our player now. I truly believe that we have became stale, unimaginative and far too predictable and we have a manager who is stubborn with his " Tactics " and it's holding us back.
  14. I suppose you could argue that Ferguson does appear to get forward as often as allows, therefore would class him as a free role midfielder, but the majority of the time, he's beside Ojo, previously Shinnie/Ball etc... there's just no need for it, it's asking an awful lot of him. I think Ojo's position is a key one and I would play him ahead of Ferguson to be honest, and I'd also play Bryson ahead of Ferguson in the more advanced role, meaning we could play Main or Wilson beside or just off, Cosgrove, it would help the big man out a lot.
  15. Skip to 1.13 and bypass that wanker Stern talking pish. Amazing version of Henley's Boys Of Summer, which incidentally Tom Petty turned down.
  16. Lewis Logan Devlin Considine Leigh Ojo McLennan Bryson Hedges Wilson Cosgrove Need to ditch this 2 sitting midfielders at home, although he won't. Bryson slowly but surely getting back to full fitness will hugely benefit us, and would like to see him further forward as opposed to being box to box, he's a goalscoring midfielder, who has the ability to unlock defences with a smart/clever pass etc... let Ojo protect the back 4 with the wide players also covering/helping. St Johnstone have been very, very poor, but they have a habit of putting in a strong performance against us and I expect more of the same. Aberdeen 2 vs 1 St Johnstone ( Hedges, Cosgrove )
  17. Turning into a big softie the older I get FFS But fairly enjoyed this to be honest.
  18. Pretty certain he did, back in the late 80's or early 90's, it was a video release, he was the host. I only know because my Hun mate who lived in Preston often tells me about it, when his Papa used to send down the Video's, it was Richard Gordon that presented them. Can't seem to find anything about it though.
  19. Richard Gordon worked for Rangers TV or some shit as well, did he not? Old Firm sycophantic wankers
  20. He also said that Cosgrove was missing the Rijeka game! Probably won't be any more additions the more I think about it though, we had a relatively strong bench today, and McKenna, Taylor & Logan are still to come back, so hard to see who would be dropped from that bench as well as the aforementioned trio. Was really hoping for another attacking Midfielder in all honesty. But if Bryson gets fit, which looks like he is, we saw it in flashes again today, in where he took some nice touches and looked to get the ball forward as quickly as possible, then perhaps we don't require one. Perhaps if Anderson & Wright got sent out on loan, with May having left already, we may see another addition.
  21. P.S, might need to be careful here, but I've watched all of our games live this season, if anyone wants to know more ( I don't want to say it in plain sight, but hopefully you know what I mean ) just PM me.
  22. There were signs today that we're actually a decent outfit if we set out to play like one! Was clear there was a message from McInnes to move the ball quickly from the start, none of this slow building pish. Hard to have many complaints, I'd ask the question as to why we couldn't have stuck Anderson on sooner than we did, given we were 3 up and cruising after 60 minutes. I'd also argue that Cosgrove was rather poor today, and I am probably his biggest fan, thought Morris marshalled and coped with him with ease in all honesty, he did have one weird run later in the game where he ran from left to right and put a cross in, a pish cross albeit. Barring their abysmal Penalty decision and the boy Stewart hitting the Post, I thought they looked pretty poor and we looked reasonably comfortable, I'd also argue that was Leigh's best game so far? Vyner I will maintain is a better CB than a RB, but at least we know he can do a job there, he was caught out a few times but on the whole, was fine. He'll be a far more useful back up than Ball, that's a certainty. Pity it's an International break now, but hopefully we can pick up where we left off.
  23. He also made an appearance for Chelsea today from the bench, either having a look at him in a competitive game or he's just trained really well and they're going with youth this season. Be interesting to see how it develops, whichever player it might be. Hector being there too, hopefully putting in a good word for us.
  24. It might be a good thing, Lampard & Jody Morris going to Chelsea, in terms of Loans. Whilst we'd all prefer permanent signings, the odd loan wouldn't hurt and in fact, has proved to be a success for us ( Ward, Hector, Maddison, Lowe etc... ) McInnes is very close to Morris & Lampard and I've no doubt they'll have been in communication regarding loan players already, Billy Gilmour is the name I have seen bandied about, he's either a CM or a CAM, never seen him but fairly certain that's where he plays.
