  1. Same shit different day. Side to side and down the line, then backwards. We have no attacking central threat so the livi defense always have time to get organized and get back. Ferguson ojo drop to get the ball, virtually nothing from jenks. Add an attacking flair player alongside and slightly deeper than Ramirez and it’s a totally different game. We have nobody dangerous with the ball at their feet in an advanced central position. this possession game is only effective if we have players to be effective in the system. Without a #10 it’s pointless and ineffective. Possession without penetration creates nothing. As we see.
  2. That’s playing for bottom of the league Dundee which is a factor. Playing for a better team who create more chances I’d expect more goals. But, ultimately, are we a much better team? Do we create more chances?? That’s an obvious concern but given we have no back up to Ramirez and it’s a mediocre season at best think it’s worth a punt, especially when our window did not make us a better team.
  3. Not exactly what happened…..
  4. He’d be our player by now if he really wanted to come. Although it is record so ultimately it’s not dead.
  5. We have plenty of players to offer them, plus, given he’ll be out of contract, we have the cash. We can make a deal if we really want him, but it’s more if we really want him and he ultimately wants to come to us.
  6. You can’t post this, I get my hopes up…
  7. I don’t think so. He’s leave for nothing in 3-4 months. According to ESPN stats he has 2 goals no assists this year, that correct??? Any real loss??
  8. Always saw him moving to a #10, creative, skilled, and can score goals, a position we’ve lacked since Christie/Maddison. Not quite sure what happened to mcginn to be honest.
  9. Yup, she’s meeting you at Love Street, how appropriate.
  10. True. Or van der ven, ten caat, even ferne snoyl! Or Paul mason, all we’d never heard of who did well for us. Positive thinking!!
  11. Anyone know what’s happening with this guy? Will we see him any time soon??
  12. What’s funny is I actually know the family, taught Robert Kardashian back in the day. Really nice guy, and actually very nice family. So, your request isn’t totally out of the question!
  13. We need to cut our losses with Devlin and move on, waste of a wage. Damaged good and would rather see glass being through another youth to fill the squad than have Devlin. Nothing against the guy, he’s just in a similar spot to tommy Hoban. A little surprised to see us go for Zander Clark too but has joe peaked and is now on the decline? He’s been an excellent servant to the club but perhaps we move for a solid new keeper while he’s available. Don’t mind either way.

    Coronavirus

Well, my turn! We test weekly at work and I got the call last night that i’d tested positive. Minimal symptoms, slightly scratchy throat and a bit of a headache. Run down too but that’s normal given my 3 and 5 year old don’t sleep. if I’m asymptomatic and feel fine I can test at work after 5 days and return if it’s negative, otherwise it’s another 5 days out after that before testing again.
  15. Winger apparently, we need that!!
  16. Ha, was just thinking the same thing!
  17. Interesting reading up on this guy. At 21 we’re not signing him to play youth or developmental league. It sounds like he’s a Lewis Ferguson type player and possibly even his replacement in the squad. Given an award for best college player is pretty impressive and the names he’s played with have gone on to good things. Curiously optimistic but at the same time Hernandez excited me when we signed him. Low risk high reward and I think he’ll be more of a Ramirez than a Gurr but time will tell! much rather have him and youth coming through like Barron than the loaning of longstaff or samuels. We’re still missing wingers and another forward though and still need more proven talent if hedges and Ferguson go. Hopefully money from a Ferguson and/or hedges sales allows us to pick up the st mirren lad and a couple of other proven talents.

So it’s about togetherness and respect provided everyone agrees with you. Gotcha.
  19. Happy New Year to you all! Curious to know how 2022 can out do 2020 and 2021. From Covid to American politics (not quite sure how that thread can be so quiet!), it’s certainly been a fucked up couple of years over here!! As for the dons, hoping the January window brings some excitement. Not too worried about losing Ferguson or hedges, even Ramsey, as it will bring in money. Hope we spend it wisely!!! However, of the three, I’d hope Ramsey stays another year or two as Ferguson has done, we shall see. Wish me luck for 2022, relocating my family 2500 miles in June, from LA back to Orlando. Driving a 3 year old and a 6 year old, plus two dogs, not quite sure how I survive that!
  20. I actually don’t think we have a bad squad, but it’s key players we need to add, not squad fillers. we have a good keeper, and very strong young left and right back. Bates, Gallagher, and mccrorie, plus considine and I think we’re solid in the middle. If Ramsey goes we need a new right back. brown and Campbell are solid in central mid, plus if bates and Gallagher are fit I’d like to see mccrorie in central midfield. I’m assuming Ferguson is gone and I’m happy with those 3 filling the two central mid spots. the three keys players we need are two wingers and a number 10. Hedges is away I’m assuming. Jet is a good back up for one of the spots, but he’s not your regular starter to rely on. up front I do like Ramirez but he needs the service. We do need to sign a back up when Ramirez needs rested, injured, or playing gash. I think it’s a definite 4 we need, 5 if Ramsey goes. Interested to see what January brings.
  21. When glass came in ojo worked his arse off and we saw the results. Much like Jon Gallagher did when he came to the club. But effort can only take you so far, talent is needed at this level.
  22. Ffs, great start to Boxing Day grrrr…
  23. Same here! been trying to get on now!
  24. Merry Christmas to you all from Los Angeles! Xmas with a 3 and 5 year old, 8:21am, coffee or beer, tough call… And no clue why I’m LA Don on my iPad and Orlandodon on my phone these days. New phone and my name from roughly 15 years ago……but moving back to Orlando in the summer so no real need to change. have a good day everyone!

I’ve replied twice and then delete it because I don’t want to get involved in this type of argument. It drives me crazy hearing people blame the anti vaxxers. I hear that regularly from joe Biden and he’s doing his best to ruin the US, including pulling people apart when we should be bringing people together. I also don’t know what it’s like in the UK but it’s so political over here, it’s disgusting. The majority of people I hear in the news getting the newest strain are vaccinated. But I don’t watch the news much now because it’s not really news any more, it’s agenda. We don’t get full transparency, but what do I know. It’s such a complex issue, and I’ll even throw out the objectives of government when you hear Pfizer has earned $33 billion to date from Covid, and they help finance government. Big pharma benefits from Covid, and there’s a reason you aren’t hearing much of alternative treatments. Anyone who speakers out against vaccines is a conspiracy theorist, anti vaxxer etc when all we want if full and clear information. The vaccine also damages and kills people but that’s getting shut down instead of acknowledged and studied. Why? Covid isn’t going away, everyone isn’t getting vaccinated, and everyone can spread. We need to learn to live with it without turning on each other. If you believe vaccinations keep you healthy get them, if you don’t don’t. I don’t believe in mandates, segregation, and lockdowns but some do. They don’t help culture and societies. Sad times. I have got involved in the obesity argument too. Covid thrives on fat cells. Why aren’t we educating people on how to be healthier? That doesn’t benefit government and big pharma. Just saying. I’m also as much concerned about the mental health issue, substance abuse, suicides etc, all are through the roof. Mandates, forcing the vaccines, and blaming each other are simply dividing people are making all of those situations worse.
