  1. We sure we are all talking about the same Soumano? All mention of Brentford interest (and apparent 3M bid) for Mousa Soumaso back in April originates from just one article from "AfricaFoot" - however Brentford are also linked with 2.5M-rated Sambou Soumano of recently promoted Lorient, which seems more plausible. What's the chances they picked up on the wrong gossip?
  2. I cannot vouch for the accuracy or provenance, but came across this earlier from Jan this year: https://targetscouting.com/2025/01/19/kjartan-mar-kjartansson-stjarnan-gardabaer-scout-report/
  3. Would be inclined to agree. That ship has sailed, bridge is burnt, sheep has bolted etc

  5. Cormack stating Keskinen not going anywhere this summer (as always, apologies for source): https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/topi-keskinen-aberdeen-transfer-fate-35468390
  6. True, opportunity missed. Or they could've had us down for a shock reunion with an unsettled McInnes to replace [insert English Championship club]-bound Thelin. Clearly not trying.
  7. Pretty sure there would have been "Miovski to..." stories lined up in case we had drawn Celtic or Sevco as our opening game rather than Hearts. A Hearts-Hibs derby on the first day would be "Hibs considering Shankland", and so on... Bait and click.
  8. Unlike Inter Miami, who are basically Messi's +10 on the guestlist
  9. Interesting read - feels a little Pape Gueye MkII https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/portsmouth-fc-news-kusini-yengi-australia-transfer-5127783
  10. Ambrose would've saved that. 1-3 Iceland
  11. Sub keeper is having a nightmare. 1-2 Iceland
  12. Depends who's better at dealing with penalties, I guess
  13. Thats...mental. Surely they should be delighted he managed to bag them all that lovely Champions league money without the usual faff of having to win all those tedious league games?
  14. might be enough for them to break even this year though
  15. Tbf it was probably the emotion of it being his last chance to win a cup in Scotland.
  16. Knoester. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spared-aberdeen-fifth-penalty-taker-reveals-why-scottish-cup-triumph-means-more-than-league-winners-medal-5145661
  17. Looking forward to our new signing Charlie Smirnoff.
  18. So far, one of Belgium, Czechia, Turkey, or Switzerland. Admittedly there might be a few other countries still to emerge...
  19. Mitov is MOTM for me, he won us the cup three times - the save from Maeda, and the two penalty stops. But the fact we've all got different nominees says a lot about the team today, kudos to Thelin for finding the right strategy but by christ could we do that a bit earlier in the season next year please?
  20. It means that 5th is a distant memory - we take the euro slot for 3rd in Hibs place.
  21. I will be more than happy for Mitov to kick the ball back to them now.
  22. Sake. Even the club don't know if it's Nisbet or Nesbit.
