  1. Knoester. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spared-aberdeen-fifth-penalty-taker-reveals-why-scottish-cup-triumph-means-more-than-league-winners-medal-5145661
  2. Looking forward to our new signing Charlie Smirnoff.
  3. So far, one of Belgium, Czechia, Turkey, or Switzerland. Admittedly there might be a few other countries still to emerge...
  4. Mitov is MOTM for me, he won us the cup three times - the save from Maeda, and the two penalty stops. But the fact we've all got different nominees says a lot about the team today, kudos to Thelin for finding the right strategy but by christ could we do that a bit earlier in the season next year please?
  5. It means that 5th is a distant memory - we take the euro slot for 3rd in Hibs place.
  6. I will be more than happy for Mitov to kick the ball back to them now.
  7. Sake. Even the club don't know if it's Nisbet or Nesbit.
  8. And yet. In the context of how much it has been in our own hands to secure finishing higher, 5th feels like something of a self-inflicted disaster.
  9. Suprised Ambrose is coming on, had assumed Thelin was keeping him back as our cup final secret weapon.
  10. If St Mirren win tonight, it remains mathematically possible we could finish the season 6th and miss out on Europe. Didn't see that coming.
  11. Looks like Hearts have acquired McInnes. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cyvm76rl5jgo
  12. No yes no maybe yes yes (but only if he can keep his head) maybe maybe and no
  13. Named Manager of the month.
  14. Going to have to split this into Player of the Year (2024) and (2025) - my take would be Mitov for the 2024 half of the season, Nisbet for the 2025 half. Particularly for his spectacular winner in the May cup final.
  15. wouldn't worry too much, they'll probably just make you write out an article about James Forrest one thousand times.
  16. Typical BBC bias, corrected it for you
  17. Looking forward to next week's statement - "Another Manager Fox Off"
  18. Is it just me or is Neil Lennon slowly morphing into Baron Harkonnen from Dune?
  19. Assuming everyone is too busy laughing at Sevco to post. Red card, disallowed goal, only need a 93rd minute penalty awarded to Aberdeen to confirm I have slipped into a parallel universe where everything is in reverse.
  20. time for some Morris dancing then
  21. I ended up muting BBC TV, sticking the BBC Radio Scotland feed on and pausing it until it synced. Not sure the commentary is significantly improved but at least it doesn't sound like an intern with a time machine.
